Some follow up;
Beatriz Morelos Casillas who will be deported probably Tuesday. She did not have a valid driver's license and didn't receive a hearing due that she had already been caught trying to enter the United States illegally earlier.
As it was stated before here arrest came from the Ohio State Highway Patrol for an incident that happened on Interstate I-71.
Now former Painesville resident Francisco Narciso involved in an automobile accident where he suffered head injuries was deported by ICE to a Mexican border town where it is reported he has been kidnapped and held for ransom by a Mexican gang?
Mr. Narciso was cited in Mentor court for no valid driver's license fined $269.00 but when he left the courtroom he was arrested by ICE agents who had been called by the Mentor police. Again no hearing for Mr. Narcisco due to the fact he had already been deported before.
You have to ask yourself who's responsibility that these Mexican citizen receive the proper transfer. The U.S. or Mexico? Maybe both. Dropping someone off in the middle of nowhere is not what I expect from the United States government and ignoring these citizens by the Mexican government is also wrong.
I guess my question is why all the uproar over Painesville. Beatriz Morelos was not arrested by a Painesville Police officer and Mentor police called ICE on Mr. Narcisco?
Also in the article I read two Painesville Hispanic resident's who are both running for city council-at-large Ana Padilla and Dora Ascosta.
They said they resent that Painesville police are eager to turn in immigrants to ICE that come to the police departments attention.
They said as council members they would oppose such cooperation ( just what we need more council people who want to be congressmen or senators)
So what's the plan? Making Painesville a Sanctuary City? I hope you have more in your quiver than that? We are not San Francisco ICE and INS will punish us and for good reason. None of this makes sense to me.
