"IT AIN'T ME BABE" turtles

Go away from my window
Leave at your own chosen speed

Some follow up;

Beatriz Morelos Casillas who will be deported probably Tuesday. She did not have a valid driver's license and didn't receive a hearing due that she had already been caught trying to enter the United States illegally earlier.
As it was stated before here arrest came from the Ohio State Highway Patrol for an incident that happened on Interstate  I-71.

Now former Painesville resident Francisco Narciso involved in an automobile accident where he suffered head injuries was deported by ICE to a Mexican border town where it is reported he has been kidnapped and held for ransom by a Mexican gang?
Mr. Narciso was cited in Mentor court for no valid driver's license fined $269.00 but when he left the courtroom he was arrested by ICE agents who had been called by the Mentor police. Again no hearing for Mr. Narcisco due to the fact he had already been deported before.

You have to ask yourself who's responsibility that these Mexican citizen receive the proper transfer. The U.S. or Mexico? Maybe both. Dropping someone off in the middle of nowhere is not what I expect from the United States government and ignoring these citizens by the Mexican government is also wrong.

I guess my question is why all the uproar over Painesville. Beatriz Morelos was not arrested by a Painesville Police officer and Mentor police called ICE on Mr. Narcisco?

Also in the article I read two Painesville Hispanic resident's who are both running for city council-at-large Ana Padilla and Dora Ascosta.

They said they resent that Painesville police are eager to turn in immigrants to ICE that come to the police departments attention.
They said as  council members they would oppose such cooperation ( just what we need more council people who want to be congressmen or senators)

So what's the plan? Making Painesville a Sanctuary  City? I hope you have more in your quiver than that? We are not San Francisco ICE and INS will punish us and for good reason. None of this makes sense to me.

Hundreds Protest Woman's Plight
Undocumented Mexican woman facing deportation

This is the story of Beatriz Morelos  an illegal who has been in our county for over 17 years. While driving her vehicle she was stopped by an Ohio State Highway Patrol officer for offending the state's move over law as she passed him while the officer had another vehicle pulled over.

First question did she have a valid driver's license? Did she have insurance? Who was the vehicle titled to?

This  protest which numbered 300 people was organized by HOLA and it's Executive Director Veronica Dahlberg. Ms. Dahlberg brought up an interesting point when ICE transport these illegals to border towns they just drop them off and they must fend for themselves. They should be brought t a safe place where they can meet up with friends and family in Mexico, yes I'm a softy but there is no harm in treating another human being with respect and courtesy.

AS I mentioned in numerous past posts whether it was about Santa or whatever we elected a man who promised to close the border and rid this country of illegal aliens, Promise made promise kept. Now of those 300 demonstrator's on the park yesterday and one's of legal age to vote who didn't have no business complaining of what is presently going on.

Granted he were promised to get rid of the "Bad Hombres" and it seems Beatriz Morelos was just low hanging fruit sweeped up with everyone.

Protesting on the Square in Painesville will get you headlines but little else until this country faces the immigration situation in this country nothing will change, and the stories like Beatriz Morelos will continue. You should also keep in mind that many Americans agree with the policy and are not seeing this through the same eyes you do.

TO ANNOUNCE NEW WARD III COUNCILPERSON

On the subject of trains

HUFFINGTON POST:

The CEO of freight railroad CSX Corp. one of the largest U.S. haulers of coal, warns that the days of transporting and burning coal are numbered.

"Fossil fuels are dead" Hunter Harrison told analysts last week, according to media reports. "That's a long term view. It's not going to happen overnight. It's not going to be two or three years, but it's going away in my view."

For that reason, he said, CSX will cease making investments in coal.

"Unless something changes drastically in the market, we're not going to go out and put a double track in, or buy locomotives or anything for coal." "Having said that, the last carload of coal that is shipped out of this country, I want to be the carrier that shipped it."

Harrison joins a growing list of industry experts to signal President Donald Trump's promise to revive the dying coal industry and put miners back to work likely won't prove fruitful.

Coal Industry stock reports start coming out tomorrow.

"WHO ARE YOU" the who

Who are you?
Who, who, who, who?

Watched the city council meeting on video, it seems Ward III seat was vacant although former councilman Mike DeLeone did address council from the audience.
Things are awful quiet who will represent Ward III for the unfinished term? I know more people that won't than who might.
Rumor's rumors  everyone from Rev. Marbel, to Richard Tibbits to Mary Hada?

More Painesville stuff?

The "Taste of Painesville" is now just called "The Taste"

Friend's of Morley Library have ended their Christmas tree decoration and sales. This provided a gift for someone who had everything.

Two people wondered why the new lady has left the Lake County Historical Society already.

Construction on the new NS trestle is moving along quickly (not a government project)

People are still somehow managing to use Walnut St. in front of Harvey High?

"TIME IN A BOTTLE" jim croce

If I had a box just for wishes
And dreams that had never come true...

By now most of people in Painesville have come across IF YOU GREWUP IN PAINESVILLE. on Facebook. Contributors bring interesting pictures as well as facts about Painesville. The administrator of the post is a Bill Smith who does a great job.

Now in the last few days billboards around town are showing the county administration new office building that will replace the Dorothy Allen building recently torn down.  The comments seem to be a little bit on the negative side. Mainly because it doesn't fit into the Veteran Park architecture. That said what in Downtown Painesville does? It seems part of downtown was designed by George Washington and a little further away by George Jetson! If we have a theme it is there is no theme. With the construction of the new Morley Library I thought our city leaders had decided on a Connecticut Western Reserve look?

When the county commissioner's proposed the new building at the most were two city resident's in attendance. The Planning Commission ask some of the right questions but it appeared the county had made up it's mind including what and where the building would be. After the election in November the county representatives were very vague on how/if the project would move forward.

I guess my only point is we have to show more concern at the beginning than after the plans are conceived.

SILLY SEASON!

First off I must commend the city administration on the progress the street levy has made in the first five year. But as with most government entities someone comes up with a genius idea? Replacing all the brick street's in Painesville. Mentor Ave. Park Place, St. Clair St. even Railroad St.?  Cost $725,000 give or take a few bricks. All to be replaced with red concrete and brick design like the crosswalks. (Take a look at the beating those crosswalks take by snowplows during the winter?) Now speaking for myself there is no way I will renew this levy if this is the purpose of a street levy. From calls today three other people are in agreement. ( Front page Tuesday (7/11/17) News-Herald.

On suggested I bring back the NO! signs

No not this time.... new color's and language how about;

LEVY THIS !

Someone suggested selling the brick? I'll buy a couple and find homes for them !

Cut the grass, plow the street's fund the police and fire department. repair chuckholes but quit trying to be Senator's and Congressmen operating under the "Golden Dome"

"COAL MINER'S DAUGHTER" loretta lynn

Well I was borned a coal miner's daughter
In a cabin on a hill in Butchers Hollow

SOUTHERN COMPANY SHORES UP MISSISSIPPI POWER WITH $1 BILLION AFTER DECISION NOT TO BURN COAL AT KEMPER

Russell Grantham for the Atlantic Journal-Constitution;

Southern company said it injected $1 Billion in additional capital into it's Mississippi subsidiary after it decided last week , under pressure from state regulators, to pull the plug on a troubled "clean coal" plant.

The Atlanta utility holding company's shares have dropped about 7 percent since the Mississippi Public Service Commission told Mississippi Power last month that the utility should absorb $6.5 billion in losses and cost overruns at the first of it's kind Kemper plant.

The stock priced decline over the past two weeks has wiped out roughly $3.7 billion of Southern stock market value.

In a monthly filing on the status of the Kemper plant.
Southern said 3.4 billion of the Kemper plant's costs are not yet reflected in it's Mississippi customers' rates. If the Mississippi regulator does not allow Mississippi Power to recover those costs, Southern said it will have to recognize a related charge against its second quarter income.

The Mississippi regulators also recently told the utility that the Kemper plant should only burn natural gas, prompting Southern 'decision last week to suspend efforts to operate a coal "gasification" unit at the plant. The 7.5 billion plant was designed to convert cheap lignite coal into synthetic gas, but it never run properly.

So what has any of this has to do with Painesville?

Close as I can tell Prairie State Energy Campus is the last of the coal fired electric plant's and we are shareholder's who will pay for higher electric power costs as well as associated clean-up costs. Hell we not only own the power plant , but the adjacent mine including the shaft!
(see; AMP-OHIO, Rita McMahon, Joseph Hada)

That said there is no such thing a reasonable priced "clean coal energy"

Then again we are either the most gullible people or ones who love being lied too!

Our President has promised to bring miner's jobs back . Well the daughter up in Butcher's Hollow has a long wait ahead of her. He lied! plain and simple.

Don't get to excited by a new coal mine starting operation chances are it will cause three existing mines to shutdown?

On his recent visit to Poland he made mention of shipping liquefied gas to their country. Not a mention of coal of any kind? They don't want the crap either!

GRAB THEM BY THE SHOVEL!

"JUST DROPPED IN TO SEE WHAT CONDITION MY CONDITION WAS IN" kenny Rogers first edition

I pushed my soul into a deep dark hole and I followed it in
I watched myself crawlin' out as I was crawlin' in

So what's new in the City of Painesville?

Sorry no 4th of July Story this year? Had one about Thomas Jefferson as well as other signers still alive 50 years after the signing of  the Declaration of Independence. Realizing how sophisticated my readers had become, I didn't see the need to explain how it is now possible to "grab them by the pussy!" and seen no reason to explain how Presidential this was? ( please share this thought with daughter's, wives' and sister's in your family maybe even dear old Mom) First time in my life the question arises "Will we ever elect another President?"

Back to the Ville' I see our new city manager Monica Irelan folded like a chair forming this Illegal Task Force? Talk about stacking the deck? What leadership! It's like asking the Gambino Family for Mafia Sentences. Verionica and Sheperd ? Let me promise her and other's the consequences of Painesville losing any federal funds. Hell maybe the Fed's will make us an example.

You crazy hat ,T-shirt wearing Painesville resident's must have scared the Hell out of her? You want a hint, that Wall should have been built in 1986 not today after at least 12 million have entered the country. Who again was I charge then? Those people have started new lives here , families purchased homes have roots. Now with all the infrastructure problems we have in this country you want 20 billion for a wall 30 years to late?

Must admit tourist traffic on a Monday night during council meeting has improved.

Heard a rumor the VA Clinic at Jackson and Richmond is closing and moving to Willoughby? Which is close to the VA in Wade Park. At the time of the demolition of Lake East I suggested to the state to keep the emergency room in operation and turning the rest of the building over to the VA . For long term rehabilitation, nursing care. No city manager Rita McMahon claimed she had a developer ready to move on that site. What was that 10 years ago?
The hotel could have been converted to  Opioid treatment facility? No same person let SWAT teams destroy the interior of the building. No we choose to grow marijuana in a residentially zoned area.

Dorothy Allen building comes down, at no meeting were there more than two resident's in attendance as to what would replace it? Trust me aluminum will play a big part.

Who will replace Mike DeLeone inn Ward III?

Waiting for that magic tweet on a fabulous health care plan?

Be careful following the Masses many times the "M" is silent!
