Well like most of you I received my Painesville magazine in the mail today.
It's really strange how a community puts a newsletter like this out? That or the editor has never been to Painesville?
Al I ever hear is diversity, diversity, diversity yet in this magazine there seems to be a lack of it.
If you didn't know any better you would think you were living in Leave it to Beaver's fictional Mayfield? Our town appears to be lily white?
No Hispanic's mentioned as well as only a small side shot of an African-American sitting at the Fish Bar. And yes an ad for the Y.M.C.A. featuring a Black family.
Opening the front page all White? Introducing 'new' families both White. Who do you people think your kidding?
I believe this is all done on purpose as to not show Painesville's diverse community, and that raises the question why? Just maybe someone's ashamed?
Lets show our diversity innovative ideas like Burlap fences to name one, also explain to resident's and other's what you have managed to eliminate this year such as the parking garage.
What's it's been seven years looking for a developers to High Pointe's that was I believe a 'shovel ready' project?
Least not forget the Urgent Care Center we were promised.
Maybe a story on city worker's dealing with using a port-a-potty in weather like this? After this much time they should do their business up at City Hall that might speed-up the process?
Well at least AMP-OHIO will be happy with a 4.5 million dollar contract for a solution without a problem.
Let's make that 'temporary' surcharge on our water bill permanent. As if no one seen that coming.

As we move into a New Year with a new budget and more new promises good luck to all my fellow residents.

I, too, looked through that brochure, and I wondered what city was THAT? I'M not that happy here, nor do I know anyone else who is, except for the Hispanics, and they're ecstatic. They're taking over the city, and they couldn't be happier. I was looking through the propaganda and wondering what idyllic place is THIS? Not Painesville. In Painesville the city council and the management treat the legal citizens like crap. Did they give a crap about the senior citizens, or did they just wipe out their senior center here? Are we suffering under their past AMP deals? Answer: Yes. Did they just make a new, equally not explainable and bad AMP deal? Answer: Yes. Do they keep adding assessments on our tax bills and additions onto our utility bills to try to cover and hide the costs of the millions we are losing and have to pay for the original AMP deals? Answer: Yes. And I also wondered where were the Hispanics in the ad. Maybe they should have advertised Veronica Dahlberg's free house for the illegals to do something that I still have no idea what it is. I don't know why they didn't advertise that we are a sanctuary city and boast about THAT in the brochure. Is it both the elementary AND the middle schools that are almost all Hispanic now? Why didn't they advertise THAT? Not to worry, though, there are so many Hispanics here now, that soon all of city council will be Hispanic, as will the management, as well as the police and fire, etc. Then I'm assuming there will be Hispanics in the brochure. Oh, but there will probably not BE a brochure at that point, because we have all seen what happens when the Hispanics take over American cities, and it is not good. So, yeah, they must have taken over some other city's brochure, and just put our name on it, because I didn't recognize much in there. I DO want to say, however, that the new shops in town sound nice, and I do hope that they can stay and prosper here. If what is coming around the bend was not coming, that would be a wonderful, hopeful sign. At least it sounds like the city is being nice to businesses now, so at least that is SOMETHING.
I don't know why they didn't advertise that we are a sanctuary city. Did they forget? Or do they just think that it's not important for people to know that before they move/come here. Not that it's a safety issue or anything...
that's ridiculous! If you go to a website called hometownlocator.com you can find a list of the diversity of cities in each state. Painesville, according to census data, is literally the second most diverse city in Ohio, at 75.3, more than even the biggest cities. Painesville should be touting this instead of covering it up. It's hard providing the exact link, but below is the list of the top ten, and Painesville is only a fraction of a point below the #1 spot. It's disgraceful if Painesville Magazine is doing this!

7:11 At this point maybe we are just fortunate anyone wants to live here? WE see things thru different eyes. Recently two homes were sold to Hispanics families near my Mom's on Cedarbrook. They take pride in their property , watch their children and are great neighbors. I'm not quite convinced they plan to enslave me in the near future? Just play by the rules.
When you call for illegals to come here, and make sure they are protected in your city, you are a sanctuary city. When you write laws that are against federal laws to make sure that the illegals are protected in your city, you are a sanctuary city. When your city is filling up daily more and more with illegals, you are a sanctuary city. Jeff Sessions has shown himself to be incompetent so far, but I'm hoping the posse shows up soon. They have certainly been notified.
You may not believe they will enslave you but what you should believe in are the statistics provided above and realize the "American" population will soon be a minority. Very Sad but the only solace I have is the wonderful benefits I will be receiving being a minority. Maybe free college, jobs, grants? Big whoop, eh? And no, we are not legally a sanctuary city but I wish someone would find that little loop-hole, make us one and Clean House here. I want Painesville and My country back.

It's a nice thought, 8:26, but it won't happen that way. Remember what Mexico and the rest of the Latin countries are like. When the Hispanics/Latinos take over, there won't be any money for us, the minorities, at that point. There won't be any money at all. And if we think we have problems with our government now, we need to prepare for how they run the governments in those countries. Scary. But Term will like it.

9:00? So far they have found no collusion between Trump and/or his people and Russia. It has been proven now, however, that Hillary Clinton and the Democratic party ordered and paid for the fake dossier on Trump from the Russians. They did it to win the election for Crooked Hillary. For the Democrats to still be running around screaming Russia is hilarious. Yes, there are a lot of people who aren't looking up the facts for themselves or not turning off CNN long enough to get the facts, but soon everyone will know the truth, and people like you who have been running around screaming "Russia" will look pretty pathetic. The only Russian collusion was Russia and Hillary. Kind of funny when you think about it, isn't it? The Democrats demanded an investigation, and they got it. The only problem is that that investigation leads right back to them. They thought Hillary was going to win, so they would get away with all of this, as the investigators would continue to give her a pass and help her hide all her corruption and evildoing. But she didn't, and now there are still investigations. Yep, kind of funny when you think about it.
I'm all for diversity, it's a good thing, it's what America is all about, a melting pot, different cultures. It helps teach tolerance and open minds. But being illegal is well, illegal. Why is this acceptable?
