BRINGING SOME BIG BUCKS TO TOWN.

Someone posted "The City tried to work with Fasson but didn't have what they needed?" I'm guessing but Avery needed a Corporate Headquarters, and a Research and Development site?
The two words that are going to bring alot of development to the area? Lakeview Bluffs. What if instead of building homes on the south side of the Grand River, we know that will probably cost the city money. They proposed building a Corporate Headquarters and R&D department overlooking the Lake, Grand River, Professionally designed golf courses, a vineyard , a spa across the river ...or you can build in Newell Creek and count J.B. Hunt semi's driving down I-90.
Avery passed but lets sell this idea to someone else.

Have you heard the Karen Lawson phone call going around, just what we need a judge that is a friend to the kids, we need a judge that will be firm with them not a friend.
What do you think Term. ?

I think this belongs on the other site. and the judge race here is going to be the most interesting local race. More to come.

Sorry Term. but I can't stand your other site, I won't bother you here anymore.

Since it is already on this site, I am going to comment. Use your head. When they say she is a friend to the kids, don't you think an abused child needs a friend, an advocate to watch out for them and their interests? And Karen has been just that. I would hope every child would have someone like Karen as their friend to help them get through the horrible situations these kids find themselves in through no fault of their own.

Last post,
What kind of Judge do you think she is running for ?

She is running for Juvenile Court Judge

These kids that go in front of this Judge are criminals and need to be treated like they are, not slaped on the back of the hand, so they can go out and jack someone up, they don't listen to there mom & dad, so it is up to the court to stop them, not help them get through it, I think you mis-understand
what this Judge is for.

First off I listened to her and Patrice Denmens campaign speech at Andy Flocks Town Hall meeting, and I never got the idea that either candidate would "cuddle" juvenile criminals. So I really have no idea where this idea came from. Maybe it was misunderstood that she was a child victim advocate? Theres a big difference.

Term, sounds like your idea will maybe the site of the new Juvenile Justice Center? God I love how we jump around here!
Your idea for Lakeview Bluffs has alot of merit, and Painesville would get all the income tax from that site, insteand of just people who lived and worked in Painesville.
Whats the odds of this happening?

A Juvenile judge doesn't only punish delinquents. They also deal with a multitude of custody and family issues. Here is where ignorance can be dangerous. I doubt either would go soft on criminals.

I think the Domestic Relations Judge deals with the custody and family issues, and the Juvenile Judge deals with delinquents (criminals) so I think the ignorance is all around.

Before you vote for anyone please find out what they do.

Haha Well ain't that the pot calling the kettle black. The domestic relations judge does deal with custody and family issues FOR MARRIED PEOPLE.

If the couple is not married but had kids and there are family/custody issues this is handled by the juvenile judge. These especially are the kids from broken homes whom are abused and do need someone to look out for their interests when the parents fail to fulfill their role.
To say a juvenile judge solely deals with "criminals" is to make an ignorant statement.

Term, Why did you remove the flawed comment? Got lucky and read it before Mr. Delete got to it.
