NEW SITE

It seems to me we need a site for Blue and Red Staters. Where people can argue national, state, and county politics. Libs, Right wingers, Dems. GOP let the people in town know your views on the candidates, issues, the future path of the country.
Same rules, 7 words you can't say on T.V. will terminate your post.
Please visit the site.

Hey Term:
As we love you dearly, there should not be red/blue states as defined by party affiliation. Our country/states/cities/villages/townships/our own lives are upside down and inside out.
A unified color (let us all pick one if it has to be color coded) will define the repair and future of the U.S.A.?
My suggestion is Grand Old Glory, the red/white/Blue of our country. It has always been the unified force behind our greatness.
Our country is so shattered in trying to be politically correct, we have been brain-washed to believe that we must give-up to accommodate others. Not so!!
This is the land of the free and the brave. This is not the land of others telling us that we should be their language/their beliefs/their religion/their, "Oh this is how we existed and we intend to do the same here in the U.S.A."
We do not like the facts of the voter registration that states if you do not have an SS#/ITIN/or other document, you can then vote. Is this vote counted or discounted? We hope it is discounted.
Sorry Term, colors do not matter to us at all: nor do statements that one candidate seems too clean that this person does not have jelly nor spaghetti sauce on this persons clothing: which would appear that this person is not qualified because this person is plain Jane and does not have any credentials nor knowledge.
No more colors - just absolute unity of all people out there (home/business/renters) to face the facts of what is truly happening to the Quality and E-Quality of the lives of all.

Subject: Aren't you glad we didn't privatize Social Security?

On this day when the stock market drops 500 points and every week another major financial
institutions fails aren't we glad that Congress never passed laws to privatize our Social Security funds?

Just imagine what it would be like if Bush and McCain had got their way?

Privatization and deregulation is just a license to steal the taxpayer's money.

Maybe to that first post, we should have a King , a Monarchy?300 million people are never going to see to many things the same way. I agree we must quit looking at running this country like it was a football game. I am a registered Democrat but that doesn't mean I vote a straight ticket. My problem is I can not stand people who believe one party is always right, and one always wrong, and my team must always win and if they don't their world comes to an end. Keep an open mind and try to understand someone elses point of view.

Congratulations term on encouraging others to keep an open mind. I agree with weighing candidates and issues individually and not along party lines. Keeping and open mind and not assuming someone is bad because of the position they hold or their party affiliation is paramount to productive politics. Now let's all keep and open mind that each person is trying to do what is best for the country or city and that while their view of how to do it may not be the best way they still have good intentions. I think that outlook alone will cut back on some of the conspiracy theories posters here seem to believe in.

This is a hotly contested election in a very important time in our nations standing with the world. I would imagine the new site will get alot of traffic. See you all there.
