9/11 PLUS SEVEN YEARS

There are only a few dates in our lives where you never forget where you were. There are two dates in my life on a national level I will never forget. November 22, 1963 and September 11, 2001. The first was the Kennedy assassination. The Terrorist attack on 9/11 was the second.
If someone had told me on 9/12 that we would not have another attack on this country in the next 7 years. I would have bet against them. Also if anyone told me Osama bin Laddin would still be around 7 years after the attack, I would have given him 7 months tops. If he is dead I want proof by bringing his carcass to the United States. We should all take a few moments to remember those that died that day, and the brave Americans that have given all to prevent this from happening again.
America seems to have gone back to the status quo. With problems like Terrorism,
the Economy, Ecology, Healthcare, Energy, the Deficit, Education, The two major partys are discussing Pigs and Lipstick. Pray for Us.

Leave Term alone. He made a good point. If everyone hates Term, why the hell are you on this blog?

Yes I'm bringing it down to the ground? I informed all Republican and Democratic Candidates to talk about lipstick, and pigs. We as ascitizen agree to let them banter about it.

I agree with term on this one even I do give him grief on most of his posts. I am not sure if it is the media who can also be easily distracted by a brittany spears melt down or the candidates departing from issues but there is somethign wrong here. Change is needed in washington.

When you want to remember 9/11 you do not need to add some stupid comment about pigs & lipstick.

My messge to all candidates: whether they are local/state/or federal, this country is in the biggest down-turn since the "20's.

How about stopping these uninteligent attacks and start making the difference/change that WE the people tell you that needs to be changed!! After all, all of us feel the affects that are negating our quality of life. All of you have so much money/property that I am absolutely sure you do not have to scrap for anything.

There was a great Tea Party once; should we now have a tremendous Party to install those that will take care of our country and stop sending billions/trillions to help all other entities that do not have democracy?
If another country ASKS for assistance, so be it. If we force ourselves on them, like we have, forget it!!!No more Payroll Tax Deductions to the Federal Gov't that are sent over the sea to build-up and make any other country prosperous, when we are sinking in a big hole.
If anyone on this blog does not see/nor are cognizant of the plight of this country - shame on you.
The down-turn is real and it will continue unless we force all issues that will stop this "pig in a pope" atmosphere.
If you are so satisfied and happy then you live in the proverbial fish-bowl. If you want/need change because you are suffering (like many are) then send the message over and over and over again. That being, "Get Out" and do not come back again unless you totally concentrate on we the people - your people!!

Flashback: Seven years ago today, Bush received ‘Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.’ memo.»

Today marks seven years since the day President Bush received a President’s Daily Brief entitled “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” (See the memo here.) At the time, Bush was vacationing at his ranch in Crawford, TX and stayed on vacation the rest of August 2001. Here’s how the administration reacted, according to the 9/11 Commission report:

— [President Bush] did not recall discussing the August 6 report with the Attorney General or whether Rice had done so. [p. 260]

— We have found no indication of any further discussion before September 11 among the President and his top advisers of the possibility of a threat of an al Qaeda attack in the United States. DCI Tenet visited President Bush in Crawford, Texas, on August 17 and participated in the PDB briefings of the President between August 31 (after the President had returned to Washington) and September 10. But Tenet does not recall any discussions with the President of the domestic threat during this period. [p. 262]

The day after he received the memo, “Bush seemed carefree as he spoke about the books he was reading, the work he was doing on his nearby ranch, his love of hot-weather jogging, his golf game and his 55th birthday,” the Washington Post noted. Today — 2,557 days later — Bin Laden still remains free and “determined to strike in U.S.”

Believe me, I'm not about to stick up for President Bush. 9/11 had alot of blame to go around. Our Government failed us. Administrations and Agencys going back 30 years. The only thing I could never figure out No One got fired. December 7th, 9/11 you have to wonder if we will ever figure it out so it doesn't hasppen again.

It will happen again someday, as long as we stand for freedom and personal choice someone in the world will want us destroyed and torn down.
