These Three "P's" are great at the Depot
The Depot is an anchor ..use it to bring GOOD business to the street.
The street the Depot is on could be completed with BRICKS. Then other eateries, unique little shops,Lionel Interactive Train museum, real Vintage clothes/jewelry store (NOT Good-Will Type)antiques, photography studio, little park on the rail side grassy bend in the road for train lovers to watch the trains, Bike repair shop. I am sure you bloggers could come up with some great ideas. Don't be negative... think big.....like in the movie... BUILD IT and THEY WILL COME!!!!
If you want some good chicken wings, just come over my house. There are a few that get thrown in the yard every day.
Wow, this is really cool. I read the comments about the Depot and realized that this was about re-vitalization and not tearing down, very nice. Did you know that Abraham Lincoln stood on the platform of the Depot and spoke to about 500 people? True. I would love to see that area turned into a historic site with the improvements the anon. poster came up with. Anyways back to the blog topic at hand.
Riders had the best venison cutlets around years ago, not sure if they still do.
Best authentic mexican, Seniors burrito. It is as big as your head and cost $5.25, loaded with everything.
Depot for the prime rib, no doubt.
I have to try the pizza burger now, at Pizza Parlor, thanks anon. poster for that tip.
Anyone eaten at Jimmy's yet? Sounds good, could use a good deli in town, mile high corned beef to rival Slymans, I said rival not beat, just to be clear, don't think you could actually beat Slymans.
Nice post TERM!
Does Jimmy's have mile high corned beef ?
It is nice to want, but lets get back to what we have in painesville now.
The homemade ice cream at Quirke's Carriage House Ice Cream Shop
PIZZA PARLOR? Does anyone remember when that building first opened, It was called Devines Drive-In, 15cent Hamburger, Generic McDonalds, then it became Charlies.Loved the Barnbuster's at "Red Barn". The best place to eat that was reasonably priced the "Vogue Lounge". Does anyone remember "Jerry & Berts", "Studio Inn"? I just can't remember where it was, on Rt.20 somewhere.
Perkins must do something right its always packed.

Yeah, my sister and I worked there when it opened, to tell the truth, Devines was there long before McDonalds moved in, there milkshakes and fries were great too.
Hey anon. No, I don't know if Jimmy's has mile high corned beef, I was just hoping someone else knew. Quirke's in the the township right?
I don't know if it is township or not, the red house and shell are in the city, I think it is the city ?
Pierogies.......... we need pierogies!
I know it's not Painesville but the homemade stuffed cabbage from the Hungarian Church in Fairport is delicious! Have exported it to friends and relatives in Parma, Ashtabula, Mayfield Hts and Chagrin Falls!

Who has great wings in town?
Has anyone ate at Bristro 70? whats it like? I have heard rumors.y
Bistro70 is an upscale spot to dine. The prices are high for a small portion When you want to feel you are not in Painesville go there.
Chester's Legacy Restaurant has fantastic crab cakes on their appetizer menu and the coolest little patio very neatly tucked away and private. Good service the last two trips too. (and no, I don't work there or know anyone that does, I just like it there)
Term must be on vacation,or the blogs. been hijacked.
B.I.D.
No he has just seen the light and realized that maybe there are other ways to improve the City. By the way, I tried the pizza burger at The Pizza Parlor like was suggested her the other day. WOW, it was great! Bistro 70 is upscale but they do have good food, a bit expensive, but the quality is there. Wings...Walnut Conv. store. Betty makes some good chicken down there.
Glad you liked the Pizza Burger, and your right Walnut St. Redi go, chicken was good I just had it for lunch.
