ANOTHER NEW GROUP IN TOWN?

Got an e-mail today about a meeting sometime in August at Lake Erie College.
"PAINESVILLE ECONOMIC RESTRUCTURING COMMITTEE"
Does anyone out there know who these people are and what they want to do with the old school buildings? I for one thought we crossed that bridge, guess not.

Whoever keeps putting Brad Tippy for Mayor might want to stop with the joke, before something gets posted that he might not want the world to know.

A new group we need is the Painesville Committee for Sane Local Schools.
I have a reason to go into all the existing schools for business reasons. If you could only see the things I have you would be so surprised.
5 or 6 residents of the city should form a committee to with permission from the school board visit the schools and report back what they found. These people can not be part of the P.T.A. or any group filled with croneys of the administration. All I will tell you is the inmates are running the asylum, with help from some parents educators and just the fear of things getting out. Think I'm nuts? go look for yourself.

In case anybody missed this comment in the "Storm Cell" heading I just thought I would bring it up top.
is anonymous speaking in tongues or does everybody know who anonymous is talking about ......... this is why it's so darn hard to keep up on what is going on around here! Even on the blog communication is not what it should be. Can we have a roster or program for posts like this.
I love the line ........ I am not one to take credits.......
excuse me let me dust off your pedestal.....
you don't let anyone know who you are or which "well known" people might be opening The Storm or what council people you but a bug in their ear...... why did you post this?

Back in the day when the City of Ville and L.E. College announced how this is now a college town; my greatest question was - what is here in this city for the college group? Nothing!! Have any of you surveyed the college residents on what would truly make this a college town and in retrospect attract others to come here. The answer was, NO.
I was born and raised in upstate New York - Tri-County area. Schenectady is a college town with Union College and a much more advanced Community College than Lakeland. Albany has Albany State College and then they have RPI. RPI is the most advanced and highly accredited Engineering College around. Each and every of these areas have always provided an array of places for the college students and their families: which in turn attract all others regardless if they are affiliated with the college scene.
My original questions and asking about the survey were greeted as very strange and with raised eyebrows.
I am not one to take credits. I am the one that placed a big big bug in the ear of one of the four that are now starting the "Storm Cellar."
That person knows who they are.

My thanks to you for listening. The Storm Cellar appears to be just a home-base start. I truly hope that all of my other suggestions and comments become a reality. This City has a very low low income rating, and all of my other comments should assist you to overcome this and see the light at the end of the tunnel. You are awesome and you are the leader. You do not need any help nor advice from the City Manager or her "maid" in the community development department!
As much as you dislike politics, you are the greatest administrator and leader - you do not have to be involved or elected - you are the future of the "Ville."

Thank You.

Oh my God, MP is the one that got us a College Bar, 3 cheers for her.

Now if she can get us that Garden, the city will be saved.

LOL seems like you could use a bit of gardening yourself and a beer!

After all there is no whining in the garden or the bar!

Peace Out......
