Re: Mexican Consulate request to present Consular ID program

Fr. Vallenga, pastor of St. Mary Parish in Painesville (MY ALMA MATER) called yesterday to seek various venues for the Mexican Consulate to present information about its Matricula Consular Identification Cards. I offered to forward the information to you on his behalf, however he is simply acting as a "conduit" as he described it, and that would get back to him to schedule a time for a Powerpoint presentation to which Fr. Vallenga provided a link in his e-mail. This is merely for informational purposes, I believe, as Fr. Vallenga said the consulate is simply trying to "get the word out."
The consulate has met with Painesville City Manager Rita McMahon and Painesville's Chief of Police. I suggested he also contact the Sherriff, possibly Chief of Police Association and Jobs and Family Services.
Please advise me of your interest in allowing the consulate to make a presentation at an upcoming meeting, and I will coordinate it with Fr. Vallenga and he in turn with the consulate, located in Detroit.
Thank you for your attention.

Now let's talk about Reed Ave.?
It appears Homeland Security, ATF as well as local law enforcement had a warrant for Eli Padilla Moreno 33, an illegal alien with an Entrepreneur spirit had opened a gun store out of his home on Reed Ave.
This included sending another illegal wired to purchase an AR style fully automatic rifle.. So now Painesville Police may encounter illegals with AR-15 now? Can't wait for V.D. and HOLA's comment on this. Who knows maybe HOLA will attempt to get help from the NRA. ?
Oh Mr. Moreno had overstayed his VISA was living in Georgia and proceeded to get an Ohio Driver's License and gracefully moved into the Painesville community?

Nice front page story in News-Herald today. Came from Mexico via Texas with a May 2009 Visa 2which he never renewed. Leaves job in Georgia, gets a driver's license and then starts living in Painesville. Wonder what seemed so great to live here? That ones not hard to answer. Takes up residence at 446 Reed Ave. starts an irrigation business, then buys/sells weapons around here.
No one anywhere seems to be checking/researching I.D. records. Everyone seems to think that all foreigners have the acceptable proof that they can be here-so we will allow them to receive everything they need as we already do for true American citizens
Painesville council, city manager, and especially the police chief should start reading and truly learning all about illegal transport laws into this country. Start changing the policies in this city and quit saying "Oh this is a federal issue and they have to deal with this." Do all of them think the Feds are supposed to come hereto babysit them and do their jobs? All of the above best go back and re-read the oath they took in order to have the positions they have.
The US coast guard station in Fairport Harbor was just renovated to the tune of 11.3 million dollars, thank you Homeland Security! So I guess if illegals are coming across the lake from Canada or even Muslims from Detroit, we're covered. Why can't Homeland security figure out what is going on in Painesville?

Last time it was a computer error/new program if I remember correctly. Maybe someone goofed again?
Isn't the purpose of a contract to have both sides agree on issues and then put them in writing so that the story does not change? Why are rates permitted to go up in the last year of a 5 year contract?
Oh wait, they have to get the money for the $45K kick back from somewhere and that somewhere is the customer.
I would rather keep my $5 per quarter and let the City find a different way to tax me.

Major Trash in the township is 2 big totes and a little recycle tote for $66.75 per month. They pick up anything around the totes also if packed properly, and the recycle tote goes every week.

CORRECTION. Make that $66.75 per 3 months. But you knew that, right? Better service, they walk up to your totes and grab everything that needs grabbing AND clean up.
