"ILLEGAL ALIEN" genesis

"The sun is shining I got a cousin and she got a friend, who thought that her aunt knew a man...."
In today's News-Herald a story was reported that a man pleaded to raping a seventeen year old girl in Painesville and that he was facing eighteen years in prison and
"COULD" be deported back to Mexico. The news story also reported he was in the United States illegally.
Well I'm for one grateful that we have rounded up the one illegal criminal we had in Painesville. Great job lets head down to Jalapeno Loco for refreshments.
Then I read the comments on the News- Herald website. Someone mentioned this person has been in our legal system for years?
Forget that, lets just look at 2007,2008, 2009. Where was this man employed? Did his employer know he was in the country illegally? Did he use false identification? Did he have a valid drivers license, along with title to a vehicle? How did he get utilities turned on where he lived? Did he pay any Federal, State, or even Local taxes in the time he lived here? Did anyone ever bother to check if he had a criminal record in Mexico?
In closing, I for one am glad Miguel Pina-Martinez is incarcerated along with any other white or black rapist. Questions need to be answered with people wondering if gangs, and mobs will soon rule our streets? Detective, how hard can it be? Start at the High School and go from there. Then maybe a detective wasn't assigned to this case?
Stay tuned V.D. will chime in soon.

Now is the time for all members of our community to come together and rid Painesville of this ILLEGAL activity. Stop turning your backs. Stop defending these people. Stop giving this ethnic group a free ride just because they are Hispanic. If they were of any other ethnic group, no group would hide or defend this kind of activity. Land of the free doesn't mean you are free to break the law.

Time to start reporting all these crimes. Doesn't matter what ethnic group commits a crime, just report it.

Now, where is the justice in the snowball incident. What kind of message are we sending to these youths that they can just roam around the city in large groups/gangs committing crimes and getting away with it. Just because we are afraid of profiling?????

Until we reclaim our streets and our city from these thugs, we can only expect more of the same. How long before someone is really hurt or worse??

The Jalapepeno Loco remark had a purpose. You sorta feel into it. In todays Cleveland Plain Dealer there was a story about Human Trafficing. Wasn't that something the owner was found gulity of contributing to? I will shortly cut and paste the story here. Hope you don't choke on that great tasting taco, it comes with a price I'm not willing to pay 4:54.

The hidden cost of ILLEGAL immigration.

1. Health Care. You can walk across the border and enter the nearest hospital and get free health care. No Questions asked. Can you or I do that. Who pays for that? All of us, another reason health care costs so much.

2. Show up for school and get a free education. No questions. Who pays? Us.

3. Lost jobs. Employers who hire ILLEGAL and pay them lower wages or worse, under the table. These people can now collect from our welfare system because they have no source of income. Who pays for that? Us. Who benefits? The employer.

4. Identity theft. Who's SSN do they use? Yours, mine, your child's. Do they take out loans then head back to Mexico? Skip out on the payments by using a different name? Who pays? Us.

5. Health and infectious diseases. Lets face it. Most of the ones coming into this country are the poor. Less likely to have had decent health care before. 25% of the TB cases in the US originate from Mexico. Hepatitis is far more common. Passed through blood. Anyone cut themselves in the kitchen or a kid at school lately? If these restaurants are hiding ILLEGALS and are human traffickers, do they get health physicals? Dare I mention HIV? Not all are from Mexico since some come through Mexico from Central America. Would you fly on a plane with someone with infectious TB? Why do all health care workers wear gloves? Something to worry about next time you eat at a restaurant that hires ILLEGALS.

5. Crime. That's the topic here. What is the cost of crime these individuals commit? Who knows? Yes, we have crime all over committed by many different people, but these people have already committed a crime just by being here. Have you? What's one more crime if there is very little worry of getting caught? I believe drugs are the biggest problem in Painesville now. But seems to me, with these groups/gangs/mobs and yes, this rapist, we are not going in the right direction. Things need to be reported and our Judicial System needs to deal with the problem with a firm hand.

Yes, there are those of you who will call me a racist and those of you who will ask where is my compassion. Well, I do more than my fair share of volunteering and help everyone regardless of race. So, I don't need to answer to you because I'm sure God can see into my heart.

My question to everyone. Where is the compassion for this 17 year old girl? How about compassion for the Marine with the broken jaw? How about the old black lady and any others who have lost the nice neighborhoods we use to have in Painesville. Those who now have to live with these sorts of things on an every day basis?

We show compassion when we educate, treat them at the hospital and give them welfare if needed. Very few questions asked. Why are we not compassionate if we ask them to do it legally?

Human trafficking. The one talked about here is force to work at a certain restaurant in Mentor. There is a much worse kind. The sex trade. I hope we don't have that around here but who knows. This kind of employer, if you can call them that, needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The restaurant in Mentor WAS the Jalapepeno Loco and there was just one in Avon Lake.

What about the snowball gang? Still no arrests?

Report: Hundreds forced into labor, sex in Ohio

By MATT LEINGANG
The Associated Press
Thursday, February 11, 2010; 1:50 AM

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- About 1,000 American-born children are forced into the sex trade in Ohio every year and about 800 immigrants are sexually exploited and pushed into sweatshop-type jobs, a new report on human trafficking in the state said Wednesday.

Ohio's weak laws on human trafficking, its growing demand for cheap labor and its proximity to the Canadian border are key contributors to the illegal activity, according to a report by the Trafficking in Persons Study Commission.

"Ohio is not only a destination place for foreign-born trafficking victims, but it's also a recruitment place," said Celia Williamson, an associate professor at the University of Toledo who led the research.

1/2 of all immigrants are on welfare. Is this really what our country needs? Immigrants are no longer just doing work "americans won't do". They are in factories, restaurants (Jalapeno Loco), construction, all trades, etc. Americans need these jobs and they are being undercut. Sure, I could afford to work for lower wages if I had everything else free such as my health care, food, housing, etc. We are giving more benefits and rights to those that shouldn't even be here than to those who are legally here. Wake up Painesville. Wake up America. Wake up Rita McMahon, Hada, Hach, Gurley, Dinallo.

My experience with Mexicans is that a lot of the time they just PRETEND not to understand our language -- whenever it is convenient for them.

I hope people are getting ready to finally stop saying they are just nice people who come here to earn a living. They are taking over the damn country. If all these people are legalized, I think all hell will break loose. Then they will be free to do to American what they have done to their own country.

We need to get all the illegals out. Let them go march on their own government and fix their own country instead of ruining ours. There is just no reason to allow this to go on.

PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- A snowstorm slowed the arrival of the U.S. Census Bureau's "Portrait of America Road Tour" as it plowed into Northeast Ohio this week. But weather is the least of the challenges facing census-takers as they try to count everyone in a region spiced with demographic diversity, easygoing with renters, and newly pockmarked with vacancies.

The big trailer named "Statistics" will today roll into Painesville, a community where Mexican immigrants, many lacking visas, don't much like talking to the government. It arrives Saturday in Cleveland, a city census-takers broadly label "HTC"-- Hard To Count.

The push to market the 2010 Census has begun in earnest, illustrating the many and unique challenges Northeast Ohio presents -- numerically speaking.

I think Vallenga (catholic priest) is typical of hispanics in the U.S. They don't want to go to Mexico to help the Mexican people fix their own country, they want them here taking over our country. They think they have the right, and they know we are stupid and are letting it happen. They are militant about taking over our country. And our country just lets them. I think what Vallenga has done to St. Marys is horrible. Closed the school, etc. It seems to me that his only concern is for the hispanics, and for their right to take over the United States. He is one of the people that should go to Mexico and help them there in their own country to make things right, but they don't want to do that. They have made their own country a piece of junk, so now they think they are owed ours.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. If everyone in Painesville and the surrounding areas, that did not like the illegals, showed up for the rallies, there would be so many people there, that it would not be able to be ignored, which is what most try to do around here. Americans DO need to get off their butts and actually get out into the streets to let our government know that we want action. I've had people tell me that they moved away from Painesville because of the illegals, but when I asked if they were going to the rally, they said no, that was a Painesville problem (!), as if it would not grow to their new location. I also had people tell me that they don't DO rallies, that they are not that kind of person. I told them that they had better start learning Spanish then. It's the job of all Americans to take action on saving our country. Our government is really letting us down here. I can't imagine what our forefathers would think about our current government sitting on THEIR butts and letting this happen. So the citizens have to act to try to force the governments hand.

I have written to many Democrats and Republicans, including President Obama, pointing out that if they ALL stand united against the illegals, then neither party would lose votes over the issue, and they could save our country instead of giving it away for votes.

If you are an American, then this is your fight.

Someone at work asked me about this and immigration today. I said I am in favor of immigration but not ILLEGAL immigration. So he asked me if I every read what was on the Statue of Liberty. He mentioned the standard quote of tired and poor. I told him that my family members who immigrated to this country read the whole thing when they came here.

I Quote

"Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Then I asked him about the part that says " If you can't come in the front door LEGALLY, just feel free to sneak in the back door ILLEGALLY and oh yea, feel free to ignore any other law you want"
No where did I see that this was there. He said " You know I never thought of it that way, you have a point"

Duh

Follow up of my earlier conversation with co-worker. He came back and said I wasn't looking at it correctly.

I told him that if a stranger knocked on his front door he would want to know who it was and why they were there. Now if theat same person snuck/broke into my back door in the middle of the night, I wouldn't hesitate to think he was there to break the law. There are ample ways to enter this country legally and the ends do NOT justify the means. I support legal immigration but I am totally against ILLEGAL immigration.

I also told him it is easy to only see things from one side if you don't have to deal with the other the side of this issue on a daily basis.

This is 11:45 a.m. again addding to my post and commenting on Badger's 1:18 post.
I said previously that I had written to President Obama about the illegals, but I did not mention his reply to me. His reply to me was what Badger just said. He told me of the quote on the Statue of Liberty! I wrote him back and told him that I was well aware of the quote, and that was not what the quote means. It does not mean that he, or any other member of our government, have the right to let millions and millions of people come to our country illegally and take over our country.

He also told me that our economy depends on them. When I wrote him back, I asked him to explain this concept to me. I explained to him how I was quite aware how we had well over 20 million illegals here from Mexico alone, and how they were now in construction, factory, etc., etc. jobs. I told him to look again at our unemployment rates, and please explain to me how he could possibly think that they should have American jobs and Americans should not. I told him about all the people in construction, for example, who do not have jobs because of the illegals.

I never heard back from my second letter. We cannot let the government continue to do this to our county. For a while there, in some of their speeches, they were also taking away all blame from the illegals, because the poor things had a US government that did not stop them. We have to stay on this, and everyone has to get involved. They are having many babies every year -- probably millions -- that are now legal, because our government has refused to do anything about that law, either. They keep track of how many latinos they have in power (political positions) in this country.

We really cannot allow them to be legalized, or even to stay here. We have to fight for our country, and do everything within legal bounds to rectify this matter. If all Americans were involved and not so passive, this would not have gotten this far. Many, many people are fighting, but it has not been enough. Everyone must join in.

Nobody really cares on this site if they are using the correct punctuation, sentence structure, etc., and sometimes even spelling. People are typing fast to get their ideas across and who cares?

Even if someone was totally illiterate, they would still have a point of view that should be listened to, and they shouldn't have to worry about people like you putting them down.

To enter the right way through the front door you need a visa. After two years you can get a green card. (pink by the way). After another three years you can apply to become a citizen if you have a basic knowledge of our language and history.

I don't see any way someone can jump into this. It is a long term process and commitment. I'm not sure someone who wants to circumvent our laws to sneak into the country would put this much effort into it. They are looking for the easy way out and yet still want all the benefits without any of the work.

If that bum that was convicted of rape was a known illegal why was he left to stay here? Visit traffic court see how man have falsified I.D. why because they don't want their American cousins to know who they are? Your government blames everyone else, the locals the Fed, the Fed the states, If the Painesville Police ever catch any of that mob. Exactly, Term. No, you can't tell if a person is ILLEGAL or not. But isn't it the responsibility of our Courts, Police, Welfare agencies, government agencies, insurance companies, Department of Motor Vehicles, hospital system to know the TRUE identity of anyone. We as Americans must prove who we are to all these agencies. Why don't the Hispanics have to do the same. Without taking the proper steps to enter legally they don't have to take any responsibility just like the rest of us. Even my child has to have me take responsibility for him.

So 3:12, would you invite one of these people into your house, lend them money or vouch for them in any other way without knowing for sure who they were??????

These so called politicians want to say it is a federal issue. Many states have passed bills as preventative measures to stop the influx of illegal aliens. The number one program that is working is e-verify. When people are hired their SSN is checked to make sure they can legally work here. We have Ohio S.B. 184 just sitting there waiting to be passed so e-verify would be mandatory in the state of Ohio. Please take the time to call your representative and ask why S.B. 184 is not moving forward! Let them know you want e-verify mandatory for Ohio. Ohio citizens should be working, not illegal aliens! Read the following article. It will not stop, until these politicians stop putting out the welcome mat. This along with the Lake County Commissioners passing a resolution in 2005 endorcing the Matricula Card is the magnet that draws the illegal aliens here!

By Camilo J. Villa

The national census will be held
in 2010, and Painesville city
wants to make sure everyone
in the city and nearby
communities is counted.
As part of its efforts, the
city is forming a Complete
Count Committee to focus on
hard-to-reach groups, such
as the elderly, homeless, and
minorities, to increase their
participation in the census.
Since the Latino community
is a large and growing part
of the population, Painesville
is making a special effort to
ensure the Hispanic community
is counted. Assistant City
Manager and Community Development
Director Doug Lewis is reaching
out to groups such as HOLA to
help spread information about the
census, and to correct the myths and
misconceptions associated with it.
The purpose of the census is to
apportion congressional representation
in the states, and to determine
the allocation of federal funding.
This is based on the population
of states and regions, so it is extremely
important that an accurate
count of all those who live in the
area be counted. The government
is required to count every individual.
And contrary to what is often
believed, all information provided
to census workers is strictly confidential,
including name, citizenship,
age. What is most important
is population numbers. No personal
information given to the census is
shared with anyone, including other
government agencies.
The Painesville Complete Count
Committee (PCCC) is in charge of
making sure there is no fear and misunderstanding
around the census so
that when people in the Latino community
receive forms in the mail,
they understand the process. The
PCCC want to reassure household
members that there is nothing to be
afraid of, and if a census worker visits
their home,
any information
shared at
that point is
also completely
confidential.
Painesville will
be setting up
special areas
and locations,
in partnership
with organizations
like
HOLA, where
residents can
bring their
forms in if they
need help filling
them out.
In addition
to making sure
that everyone
is counted, the
census is an
opportunity for
individuals to
get part-time
employment.
The census is employing thousands
of people across the state to work
on the polling, and there is a special
need for bilingual workers. The
pay starts at $13.00 an hour
and is an excellent opportunity
for people who speak English
and Spanish to not only make
money, but to help provide a
very important service to the
community. Hiring is happening
now, and more information
can be found by calling toll-free
1-866-861-2010!
By answering the census
form questions, helping to
spread correct information
about it, or even working for
the census, we can all do our
part to help make the 2010
Census successful and beneficial to
our community.

I was not sticking up for the illegals in any way. I personally have never even run a stop sign in my life, let alone enter into another country illegally. Let alone demand to stay and demand rights!

It was probably at least 3 years ago now that I heard someone from high up in the Mexican government do an interview. Can't remember who exactly that person was, but he said then that the Mexican government estimated that there were at least 20 million ILLEGAL Mexicans in the United States at that time. (We all know is has grown since then.) He said that they had many, many ghost towns to prove it in Mexico. I did research on it at the time. The old folks that were left in some of those ghost towns were as worried about losing their country because all the people were here as we are worried about losing ours for the same reason (because they are all here).

And that's just the Mexicans. Our government does not have the right to let this happen. They do not have the right to give away our country, yet both parties continue to do so.

1:29, I just can't believe the stupidity in your statement. A broken law stays with you no matter where you go. 1:29, what part of illegal don't you get? This just totally boggles the mind. Are you related to illegals and that is why you have this skewed view? Are you dating an illegal?

The group NALEO (National Association of Latino Elected Officials), one of the most prominent Latino organizations, keeps careful track of all Latinos in this country (as best they can), and keep careful track of how many there are in elected offices in America. They also keep track of how many hispanics they need legalized in the US to vote the Latinos into office. This web site used to be a lot more blatant, but they have toned it down a lot in the last few years since Americans started to fight back. It is all the same purpose, though. They know they are taking over our country, and they know we are letting them. As citizens of Painesville, where we have such a big problem, our fight must start right here at home, even as we fight for our country as a whole.

Does anyone have any ideas on what should be done? The Grassroots Rally Team has fought very hard, but not enough people support them. Last I knew, they needed a lot of help. For one thing, they didn't have anyone to call the people who were members and did not have computers by which to notify them of rallies, etc. There was man that offered to do that, and I passed on his name, but I don't know if anything ever came of that. I do know that they have fought relentlessly, but all Americans who want to rid America of the illegal population need to join in. There's only so much that a small group of people can do. If more people joined in to help with whatever support they needed, and also joined in their rallies, then it would be force to reckon with, wouldn't it? Then if everyone joined in across the nation, we could actually take back America. It all boils down to the fact that if our government, either city or national, will not do it, then we need to gather together and make them. It's not much fun, but it needs to be done.

There are a lot of people that support the grassroots rally team purpose, but they have not separated themselves well enough from the common everyday racist that people are willing to support them.

They must somehow legitimize the group by making sure everyone understands the target is illegals and not Hispanics.

I have watched this group from the start and they have always insisted that the problem was with illegals and not with Hispanics. I watch an open forum on the town square once and they let a person speak that had alittle to much to drink and this person went on a rant. He was escorted off the stage with a statement that this mans was not speaking for the group.
The people who give this group a bad name are the people who do not want any dissent heard.

To 3:08:
The way I see it, you've got three choices.
1. Join the group and fight for your country.
2. Start your own group and fight for your country.
3. Continue to make excuses about why you can't join the group, and learn how to speak Spanish.

"Interesting that he has been in our court system at least since 2002 and he still needs an interpreter. Also, no one checked his status. No wonder we are a sanctuary city."

If he's been in the court system since 2002 and no law enforcement agency has reported him to ICE, this agency should be sued, by the victim.

When local law enfocement fails to report illegal aliens to ICE, they rob the federal govt. of their proper decision making, in regard to the possible deportation of an illegal alien.

The law enforcement officer may have failed his public duty ?
