This question is asked of all you regular church goer's in Painesville.
Has your Priest, Reverend, Pastor, Preacher, Minister or even a Rabbi ever conducted a sermon about the Islamic Terrorists, Jihadist's or what is currently happening in the Middle East?

But on another note Five St. Mary's parishioners and five other people visited the MACE mosque on Saturday, January 9th.
They all admitted to having anxieties when they entered the building. They were met by two women. Humera and Salma and a man Nafis.
"We pray for you every day" and all the Children of Abraham. All Jews, Christian, and Muslims are "Children of Abraham."
This is probably it was a good thing I wasn't along for the trip. Please explain how all this has got so screwed-up then? If your statement is part of the Quran 21:107. "And we have not sent you except as a mercy to the World."
Are not Shites and Sunnis children of Abraham? Never mind Jews and Christians . Who and how was your religion hijacked? I appreciate you praying for us but most important stop killing us! Are Infidel's also children of Abraham?
I do understand some of all this, but it is way past time that our Christian clergy stop avoiding this issue and speak to it from the pulpit on Sundays.
Many of you claim President Obama hasn't taken this issue seriously. Maybe it's time for our Christian leadership too?
Rafael Cruz (Ted) claims it's settled law that he is a "natural born American" At the same time Canada claims he is a "natural born Canadian" ? Can you be both? Or honestly can he run for U.S. President and Canadian Prime Minister?

Just a minor point. All Canadians are Americans.
So are Brazilians, Mexicans, and every other nationality from North or South America.
I never understood why we think that we are the only "Americans".
Being a citizen of the USA is a very different thing.
Because as Tears For Fear sings "Everybody wants to rule the world",that's why. The all at one time followed the Prophet Mohamed but as in many religions splintered off and formed new religious branches. Then some formed cults others got greedy and some just crazy. Apparently the radical Muslim's feel they should be the only ones left and will do anything to eliminate the rest. As you just found out, Mohamad NEVER meant for the religion he founded to be like the fanatics today are.
I have a big problem any time anybody states they are praying for me. It implies I have done something wrong, am sick or something that doesn't fall in line with the prayer's belief system. Can we live next to one another, absolutely! I don't hold much stock in organized religion on any level. And yes, we can make our own choices and believe what you will but please don't inflict your beliefs on me. It's a great country and we had some very insightful forefathers who believed the church and state should no mingle.
I thought the basic Koran, as Mohamad made it said to kill all the infidels. Doesn't it?

When I was young and out in the great Northwest, I met a gal from Canada. Being young and ignorant of so much, I asked her if she thought of her self as an American. This is where I learned that "Americans" are from the USA and everyone else in the Western hemisphere is not an American. IE, if a Russian calls you "Americanski" he means us from the USA.

I would like to help you understand something about praying for people. It isn't quite like you think. Praying for you is asking "GOD" to bless you with what you need, good fortune, happiness and sometimes separate you from evil. It isn't automatically saying your evil. Come on Christians, help me with this.
Most organized religion is trying to help humanity get along with each other and the problems we all face. Yes there are those who may feel you are doing something wrong, but that's a separate issue. That's a pious weakness that comes from being a human. Christianity teaches to rise above the bad in human nature and be all you can be. (Thanks US Army) No body is perfect, but we can try.

So instead of praying for me get off your knees and go work at the soup kitchen, or pick up trash while your praying. I'm not so big on any GOD blessing me. I can walk outside, look up and know. Painesville - OF violating the collective bargaining agreement in an officer’s demotion. The city has not chosen an arbitrator from a situation originally in 2014. What are they waiting for? What type of boss does this? Demotes because he doesn't like the written witness statement (its a cop writing a statement), doesn't follow the due process for discipline (shocker and been done before), or the chain of command (isn't the PPD chief a patrolman's boss, not the city manager)and eliminates because the city manager "doesn't want to see" this employee (just how much interaction and times would Carson see a patrolman).

The city manger gets his power with police and fire because he is the safety director. I don't think he has the right to move patrol officers positions. I believe that power lays in the Chiefs lap. This action by the manager looks like bad grapes just like him going after chief Hager, causing him to retire.
I only know what I read in the paper about this. I however agree with 10:24 though the city manager is a safety director he Once Again did not follow the chain of command he DEMANDS everyone else to follow. He has gone after more than Hager also. When is this going to stop?
