"PAINESVILLE COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA O8/17/15

Best question ? should we bring a cot?

11 Resolutions and Ordinances including the ones tabled.

Lets move some cash around from one fund to another sorta like the carnival barker asks you to keep on eye on the three cups and which one has the quarter underneath it.

More interesting when  discussing Prairie State Energy Campus an expert in the electric field mentioned that a MW of power from a coal plant costs $38.00? UH!

Katie Jenkins -Refuse Collection ...This could end up with a lot of trash talk.

Mike DeLeone- Computer Service Upgrades ... We seem to be doing upgrading  constantly. That and buying pick-up trucks.

Mike DeLeone- Comprehensive Zoning ....The word 'Comprehensive' scares the Hell out of me. Little Late?

Lori DiNallo- Sidewalk Replacement Program.... Easy in the past just piss off the administration and you and your neighbors will receive a visit about sidewalks.

Andrew Flock- New Sidewalk Installation along Elm St..... Wonder if anyone gave any thought about that when Elm St. School was built?

Andrew Flock-Fence Installation Around Retention Pond at Huntington Park.... Odd the other two parks State Street and Lathrop are fenced in. Yet the park with a ten foot retention pond isn't?

Presentation to Council Finance Department- Andrew Unetic

Yes maybe a pillow at least?

##########################################################################

At the end of the council session council will go into executive session to discuss personnel and contract matters.

I've been told by a number of people under the Golden Dome the fix is in? They referred me to the August 14, 2015 News-Herald article about Mr. Homyock taking the position at Lake Farmpark.

Painesville City Manager  Anthony Carson said that his office issued an internal job posting August 12,2015 and is considering on whether advertising outside will be needed.   So someone in the city has the same credentials as Mr. Homyock when he was given the job?

Look I'm not even sure we need this director?  Maybe a good secretary will do the job? With Mr. Lewis overseeing the department. It has been confirmed to me  Mr.  Homyock will be taking a pay cut working for Metroparks. Maybe he got tired of hearing complaints about the cemeteries?

But remember as in the past what the city manager want's council delivers? NQA

Just wondering what "comprehensive" zoning actually might be?

Sidewalks on Elm St? Kind of like Laketran not serving Tri-Point or waiting to see how awful the traffic is around the hospital before you make plans to ease the congestion.

So he takes a pay cut to get a different job??
What sense does that make unless there are more benefits downstream at some time?
PLEASE don't tell me that the former CM is coming back!

The city lost a good person and it seems someone has already put a bug in your ear when you imply they just need a secretary. But they already have one, why would they need 2 in the same department. I think you heard the rumor we all have been hearing and reading.

Homyock was rude jerk to me more than once, so not sad to see him go.

Sidewalks on Elm Street? Where? All the way up and down on both sides of the curve? On both sides of the street? Is this decided, or just up for discussion at this point?

Sidewalks on Elm St. wonder what the school board was thinking when they picked that site? The school should bus those children in that area without sidewalks that should be a the school's expense. They built it there.
Lee Homyouck and I had our first conversation today, I wished him well.
Rumors? Maybe the worse kept secret?
Rita coming back????? Did she ever leave?

If someone employed for that long leaves and takes a pay cut, don't you think something is wrong here? I don't think someone like this just seeks out another job without provocation. Pay cut? Maybe but in the long run. Painesville city has no money to operate as they should but the Metroparks, people always vote for their levies unlike here. Id like to see a break down of each community and how the vote tallies for metropark and Morley. Does Painesville vote it down and is it then carried by other communities?

11:22. Then you don't know who I am. But I could say more about Homyock. And what does Sandy have to do with anything? I mean, who cares? What kind of a post is that, anyway?

2:50 So maybe I don't know you. That might be a good thing... for me.

11:56 We can just assume . Really without a public complaint there's no there there. Just people in the shadows making noise. You can get those tallies from the election board.

Getting off subject a little, but someone brought up the metroparks levies. Can we please stop voting for these along with the Lakeland levies? Metroparks seem like they own half the county. Instead of the land being in private hands and generating tax dollars, it is costing taxpayers money. Go down to Indian Point or Helen Hazen on the weekend. I'm guessing the people I see there aren't part ng a lot in property taxes. And for Lakeland, why should county taxpayers subsidize all these students? That place is turning into a university. Now there is another levy coming up for new buildings. Let's spend money on some other things like roads, schools, and safety, not the 100th metropark or a building expansion for The University of Kirtland.

term 4:59 from 2:50. Go screw yourself, you weirdo. Sounds like you have mental health issues to me. I have no idea what kind of freaky crap this is, but keep it to yourself.

5:30 Yup! I can understand Lee having a problem with you. Maybe I should be glad I don't know you?

5:26 The big MetroPark secret? People living in those area's want Metropark to purchase the property so no builder will build a development by them.

Lakeland levy? Might not be needed if the college raised tuition from out of county student's. Look ask any resident would you rather pay the property tax assessment or just pay the added cost of say a Geauga County student? Geauga residents get a free ride in my book. Quite a bargain for out of county residents if you ask me.

I will agree with many of my conservative friends. Once you start MetroParks, Lakeland College, Laketran the beast only wants more and more of your resources. Always providing less for more. Where -O -where is that bus route to TRi-Point?

Sounds like Brentwood and Kensington too.Bet they don't pay their fair share to metroparks but use them freely (remember the incident a few weeks ago between the 2 parks) Check out Morley but hold your breath, it stinks in there around some of the people from across at the church (almost threw up). Laketran the same, stinks of bo, booze and has many "different" people. Not saying Everyone at these places are the likes but it only takes a few.
