Why has Kenny Rodgers been on my mind?
Well it appears council handed Lori DiNallo a resounding defeat on her immigration letter to Federal officials. No one was in more shock in that room than I was.
First I was way wrong on how the vote would go. 1-6 my prediction 4 -3 to pass . How could I have been so far off?
Well to start when asked why I thought it would pass, I mentioned that Mrs. DiNallo was a little more "polished" politician than most on council. I believed she would not proceed with this Resolution unless she had at least 2 or 3 other's on council to support this resolution. Boy was I wrong.
Now all council has managed to do is stir the pot of the anti-immigration bunch and give false hope to the Painesville Hispanic population. If we can't get a small group of people in this room to agree what chance does this letter have in Congress?
Another lost bet. Where was the advocate for the Hispanic community, Veronica Dahlberg? Sorta left Mrs. DiNallo out to dry? This Painesville Hispanic community needs to find a local Painesville leader not someone who "just visits." I do believe after listening last night that the forum these people should use are local Church's
and Congregations get the Ministers, Pastors, and Priests to support you campaign. This Resolution writing appears to be a big waste of time for people we elect to provide a service to our city.
To the anti-immigration group, you will fine out very soon in the future your on the wrong side of history on this issue. Remember the young man that got up in front of council to proclaim "I vote" well in the very near future many more will join his ranks, Love them or Hate them there here to stay. The numbers are changing right in front of your eyes. You may win this battle but you will lose the war. Time to come to the table to resolve this before as some of you have noted it will solve itself.
Well immigration is now history council now plans to take on the CSX Railroad I see less luck with them that I did with Congress. One point I will agree with Heisley Park on the question of the south siding should never hold chemical or flammable materials, if they want to store empty "well" cars on that siding you should consider yourselves blessed. On another not if the cars are moved further east they could block the sightlines of motorist's to on coming trains at the Newell St. crossing. Just a thought.
We will send a Resolution to the Ohio General Assembly to reinstate local government funds.

Notice the Richmond Height Superintendent who was indicted from bribery and extortion....was a finalist for PCLS, but thankfully wasn't picked....the schools dodged a bullet on that one,,,,
I'm a little confused. So is DiNallo going to send the letter on her own since she had no support from council, or not?
On another note...THANKS to the rest of council. I didn't know they had it in them, and I am grateful.
Perhaps since Ms Dinallo's resolution was defeated so soundly those people that spoke against it could do something positive again and get the Ohio and Feds to wake up. They talked a good talk so take their show on the road and lets take back our country. Lets abolish the anchor baby law and get one on the books for English as the official language that way our "near future" will be more secure since noone will secure our borders. As for the churches getting involved? As for church helping them, how does the separation of church and state play into that?And BTW we are former members of St Mary since they harbored the illegals in the basement during a raid. I cannot condone criminal activity-anywhere.

Good luck with the Heisley Park vs CSX issue. No matter what the Heisley Park residents think, the tracks are not a "yard", it is a siding. It has been there as long as I have so I doubt that it is going anywhere soon. When you buy a house near tracks, expect to see and hear trains. Kind of makes me think of people who buy a house near an airport and then complain about plane noise.
Ms DiNallo seemed to think you were speaking of her when you used the term hypocrite. You didn't, did you?
I think your terminology is a little off, or maybe mine is, but if all these illegals are legalized, the anti-illegal Americans won't be on the wrong side of history, in my opinion. We'll have lost the war, but I think history will prove we were right...and very quickly.
I'm wondering a couple of things. What happens to the illegals now with the Affordable Care Act? Does anybody know? Do they still get to go the hospital and get free care? Do women still get to come here to give birth and get free health care while they are giving their children dual citizenship?
Another thing I am wondering. All of these millions of anchor babies that we have stupidly allowed are all going to have children, right? So all their children, and grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, etc., get to be American citizens, too, right? No matter where they are living? This is a question, not a statement, although I am assuming that is true.
It was reported by a blogger on this site that California just voted (somehow) that they wanted their illegals (at least I think that is what I recall they said). I figured that was either incorrect information, or that non-Hispanic Californians had lost their majority votes to the Hispanics already. Well, I just looked it up, and Latinos are set to surpass whites in California in March 2014, when they will become the largest race or ethnic group. So it looks like now the illegals and all their relatives/friends/comrades can probably control the casual and/or legal vote in California. And what are they voting for?...illegals. Now that's a surprise, isn't it? Tick tock tick tock.
Veronica Dahlberg probably was not there because she knows that she is a menacing presence to the situation. I believe she likes to do her work behind the scenes more and more to pretend it's not her, so as to not tick people off, but as usual she is just in hiding and pulling all the strings. I think she needs to go to Mexico to work on Mexico, and forget trying to give away her American country to citizens of the country of (part of) her heritage. Really, if she wants to live in a Mexican country so badly, then just go to Mexico. I would just like to know what makes anyone think that the Mexicans or any other Hispanics, and/or all the illegals from other countries that are here, have any right to be here let alone stay and ask for/demand rights. America's lack of a back bone is going to be her downfall, and very soon, if we don't get a grip. Too bad Dahlberg can't be deported for treason or something.

We need to fight for a new ag-worker program that does not include citizenship, fix the #$$# 14th amendment, and get E-Verify up and running. And get these illegals out now while we still have a country left. They are winning. They keep track of every Hispanic in every political office in America. It's a takeover, and Americans are the only ones who don't seem to know it. Trust me, the Hispanics do. I can't figure out why the Republicans aren't taking advantage of this hiatus by trying to accomplish three or four things. Or at least one. I mean, pick one already, and start doing it. The American people are behind you, so do it quick while we still have the majority of votes.

And the problem with those polls is that they are poling the illegals. And the problem with all demonstrations, etc., when they count the ones for legalization, is that most of those calling in or marching for it are illegal, and should not be counted under any circumstances, as this is not their country.

One of the two largest influxes of money into Mexico in all recent years, and I believe they are neck-and-neck, are Mexicans from the United States sending money home, and the country's sale of oil. Just recently, they are gaining auto plants from the US, etc., that I think is surpassing those things. But can you imagine? For decades now, one of their two largest businesses (and now three) is Mexicans sending money home from the US. They come here and take our jobs. They get on any and every kind of welfare they can get on. They get their medical care for free, etc. They don't pay taxes, and the majority of their money is sent out of the country. You know, we are so numb to this, that we don't even consider it when we are figuring out where all our personal money goes, and where all our nations' money goes. It's never talked about when politicians are talking about health care costs, welfare costs, etc. Our country is supplying one of Mexico's main sources of income into their country, and we don't even think about it anymore. No wonder their presidents get so angry every time we bring up deporting all their citizens from our country. So they threaten our politicians with losing the Hispanic vote, and all our politicians sit down with their tails between their legs. They're so dumb, they don't realize that soon not one non-Hispanic will hold any office in this land. Have you noticed most of the Hispanics vehicles? Nice, big expensive ones, while most Americans who are working to support them here, and their families in Mexico, are driving older smaller cars. It's all related, and many Americans are still walking around saying they're just nice people looking for work. Well, it's a whole lot more than that.
4:59pm, we have taken our "show on the road". We have testified in Columbus, wrote letter, called every representative, organized rallies, petitions and much more than most people against illegal immigration have done. And we will continue to do what we can. What have you done?
To Term. "Workable Solution" -
1. Secure our borders, of course, but we need to also, and probably more importantly, change our policies.
2. Restate or otherwise fix the 14th amendment. Even if it was right then, it obviously isn't right now, so change it, and change it fast.
3. Fix the ag-worker guest-worker program so it works for the workers and farmers alike. We need to do that quickly to make sure the farmers are taken care of. Give them a year to be here working, then they go home, and the next person on the list comes. No citizenship. No babies who are born here are citizens unless one of their parents is an American citizen. Only bring in workers for the fields, and only on as as-needed basis. There is a congresswoman who was working on this...Fiengold, I think maybe. I'd have to look it up.
4. Get the E-Verify program up and running in all of our businesses so if you are not here legally, you cannot work. This is made a little more difficult because of the Mexicans love of forging documents, but I'm sure the government has that mostly in stride, if not in stride.
5. No benefits or handouts of any kind for people who are not here legally. I don't know what benefits the government will want to afford the ag-workers who are here legally, so I am not including them in this "no benefits" statement at this time.
And they all know very well how to get themselves back to their countries and to their homes. With all that in place, most of them will go, because they won't have any choice. The ones that stay should be a lot easier to find and deport.
1. Do that no matter what.
2.Ratify an amendment some of those kids will be retired before that will be done.
3. Go for it
4.Are no going to hold employers responsible?
5. Only legal citizens receive benefits back to 14th amendment.
6. No read 12:46 and see how it doesn't matter who you approach, there here and there staying.
Truth be told your "workable solutions" won't work because no one see's this situation thru your eyes.
Get in a room make them learn English take citizens tests, pay a fine then make them citizens, anything else will fail. There here and they have roots.
4:59...and therein lies the problem. The individuals and the groups who are working against legalization are working valiantly, but the vast majority of Americans who want them out, do nothing. If everyone stood up to be counted on this issue, they'd be out. There would be nothing to do but to get them out.
12:46 PM, Who are you? Are you one person or a group? I have contacted as many politicians as I could to voice my opposition to the illegals invading our country. I feel my response back from them is just lip service though. I do not believe they are sincere in what they have told me. I would love to see a huge rally/march and petition to help push the politicians to put an end to this.
I haven't stepped a foot back in St. Mary's since they harbored the illegals either. And I think he closed down the school so he could spend more money on the Hispanics. That was two horrible things, and it was two too many for me.

This is 5:56. It depends on how you define practicing my faith. God is still God, and the priest at St. Mary's is just the priest at St. Mary's. I did, however, shortly after that occurred, quit going to Catholic churches while other people are there, although I love to go when I am alone. I quit going because of the sexual abuse of all the children, while I help fight it. They are finally dealing with it, although I am not sure it has stopped, and it was (is?) not only in this country, but many others (so probably all the others). They have quit covering a lot of it up finally, and are making quite a few attempts at recognizing and helping, as much as anyone can, the victims. It's a good start anyway, and I'm hoping this current Pope is going to throw the doors of the church open and shed God's light on it, and maybe finally make sure they all come clean and stop hurting children.
I believe that the church is somewhere I can go to worship God with others. But I can be a Catholic and worship God anywhere. If I ever feel the churches are clean enough to go back into, maybe I'll be able to stomach fellowship there. But right now, they still make me sick, and I can only go there when it is me and God alone, and I think it's pretty unforgivable that all Catholics have not boycotted all the churches in every country until all the pedophilia is exposed and stopped, and until every victim is recognized and helped as much as possible.

I stated facts and just facts the fake SSN numbers can be run and they will not come back to those using them, the children even have to have SSN to get into school along with birth cert. to show age..I beleive that if presented with a out of.
