Hi Term,

How are you feeling, I see you have the boot off that must be nice ?

I was wondering do you know why the city does not have any boilers or turbines running at the electric plant ?

And if they did do you think we would have had power back on in all or part of the city, sooner ?

Thanks
A fan

Sounds like a lot on the agenda concerning our Electric Division. Perhaps, the Administration can tell Council about the status of the 2 MW battery that was never delivered or the North Perry wind mills that were never built. We seem to veer off on pipe dreams that never get finished or bad deals with AMP Ohio. Why not just order some coal, light off a boiler and generate some power at the Electric Plant? That's worked for the past 125 years.

9:39 Sorry the Boots back.
That's what Councilman Flock questions with "warm start"
Don't know these people always have an excuse.
10:05 Would make no sense. We are obligated to purchase power from AMP-OHIO to cover our needs?
If truth be told the past administration and council put the plant out of business.
The Battery? Kaput
Windmills only God knows if and when.
Best answer so far from the administration "The plant was down for maintence" For the last 100 out of 104 weeks?

What exactly are the boots for? To wade through the muck you peddle?

It's hard to believe that 3 boilers and 4 turbine generator were "down for maintenance" at the same time. When Councilman Fodor question that reasoning he never got a strait answer or a promise not to allow it to happen in the future.
By the way, when was the Plant capacity reduced to 19 MW? When did they kill the Battery project? Painesville Citizens have been left in the dark in more ways the one.

Well that works if you buy into the fact that the plant is down for maintenance 90% of the time. It's not producing period. Presently the plants capacity is 0MW.

Well, that is 2 hours that I will never get back.
Learned that we might get more multi family housing.
More reasons for the power outages plus the "hope" that it doesn't happen again. We might have to buy a generator so we can start up our coal fired power plant. The trouble is, we have no coal to burn.
Nothing on Heisley Park vs CSX.
Nothing on Prairie State
I still don't know what the deal was on Poplar Ln.
The good news from the Police Chief is that crime is down in the City!
Oh, the Facebook page is popular too.
