"TIME IN A BOTTLE" jim croce

Time is running out if you want to let council people know how you are leaning on the 35 year "take and pay" Fremont Energy Station..
My crystal ball shows Hada, Fountain, and Hach taking a "YES" position.
Flock, and Werner in taking a "NO' position.
The deciding votes will be Lori DiNallo and Jim Fodor.

Lori DiNallo..... ldinallo@painesville.com 669-2284

Jim Fodor...... jfodor@painesville.com 354-5018

Hal Werner...... hwerner@painesville.com 223-2577 [cell]

Robert Fountain..... rfountain@painesville.com 639-1518

Joe Hada ..... jhada@painesville.com 352-1461

Paul Hach..... phach@painesville.com 350-0157

Andrew Flock..... aflock@oh.rr.com 354-6041

Please let them know your position on this expensive undertaking they are about to get all of us into for the next 35 years.

I don't believe we need to get the city tied up in another 35 year deal. On a side note the three yes votes are the same three that might cost us 2.7 million dollars
by voting "YES" to Meigs County. One even did it proudly.

When does Amp-Ohio have to know and when did Painesville find out about this? It seems to be happening fast.

Well at last Mondays meeting the AMP-OHIO rep claimed the city was aware of this proposal as early as late March or early April? It's made to happen fast? Smell anything yet?

No to Fracking!

A vote yes for the AMP contract is a vote to destroy the quality of life where the natural gas will be extract.

HEY TERM,
WHAT DO YOU AND YOUR READERS THINK ABOUT THIS STORY ?

Harvey basketball,
By Bill Tilton
BTilton@News-Herald.com

Marwin Walling is going to be pulling double duty in the fall and winter at Harvey.

Walling, who is the Red Raiders’ varsity football coach, has been hired to take over the boys basketball team as well.

Walling takes over for Tim Starkey, who resigned after last season. Walling served as a member of Starkey’s coaching staff from 2003-2008 and has been a coach in the Painesville City Schools since 1997.

“While coaching both teams will be challenging, we are confident that Coach Walling can do it,” Harvey athletic director Dave Klingenberg said. “This is part of a transition plan that we know will be in the best interest of Harvey athletics.”

Walling was the Red Raiders’ JV coach and a varsity assistant during a run of three Division II district titles during the mid-2000s.

“I am very excited for the opportunity to again be a part of Harvey basketball,” Walling said. “I have a great staff for football and I am putting together my staff for basketball, and they will help me to ensure that we continue to provide a first-class experience for all Harvey athletes.”

" You mean to tell me there is no one out there who can coach the basketball team? What about the current JV coach? or Freshman coach? To give this guy BOTH varsity sports is ludicrous. He is a lousy football coach who favors certain kids over the others, and now he is going to be the varsity bb coach as well? That is unheard of. Say goodbye to the good Harvey bb teams. Wow, who is running the show at Harvey? "

" Did anyone check this guy out ?
Look him up at www.pmcourt.com/search

And what about Dave Klingenberg as the Athletic Director and Vise Pri. "

I think we all know that Klingenberg being made VP was a reward for being administration's "yes man". Supported the 50% policy.

10:44 Although I hated to see Coach Starky resign,I wish he would not have. Coaching to sports back to back is going to be a huge undertaking. On your court comment Mr. Wallings seems to be deserving a second chance, and could possibly make it easier for players to relate to a positive role model? I remember my father speaking favorably about Coach Walling that's good enough for me. I do not know Dave Klingenberg what's your problem with him having two positions.

Screw your "Funny everyone comment's as Anonymous?"

Why do you think it will help players to relate to someone with a record like ?

Do you think they are alike ?

Angelo A. Cimaglio AKA TERM>>
Must be new here? Now you know someone named TERM>>

3:53 Do you believe that Coach Wallings is presently a positive role model? Does it show people can straighten their lives out?
If you don't want him coaching go to a board meeting and tell them. I didn't hire him.

So, you're the Channel 12 gadfly, that always has a gripe to talk about. Have you ever considered running for council and help solve problems? Or,is it easier to just sit on the sideline and throw brickbats. Remember, the Council members were elected, you weren't!

Yes, and Nope, Do I throw brickbats or facts? Think about that as your paying more for water then the county charges along with paying over 2 million for something you never got?

1:43 Now I have a complaint. I watched the latest school board meeting. Please never again tell me its for the children. Room filled with PCLS bus drivers who's average wage with benefits is $33.93 and you want more money from me? Keep everyone feet to the fire Term it's about time this stuff was brought up!

So your idea was to give the new board member a chance? What else will have to be explained to her if she no idea what seniority is?
Please someone wake me up!
