As always, there will be a ceremony in Veteran's Park tomorrow.
Amazing - more coverage regards DACA, Immigration committee and a sanctuary church harboring illegals than anything on 9-11. The paper should be ashamed.
I agree that The News-Herald should be ashamed. It has long since stopped being an actual newspaper, and now it's a left wing propaganda rag. The left-wing spin on every article, even the tiniest ones, that have to do with anything Trump and Republican, is shameful. They don't deserve to BE a "newspaper" any more.
Curious why you didn't post a picture of the 3,000 flags placed in OUR square. Term, how many have you attended???
Amazing 5:21 - Hundreds show up for DACA - showing red, white and blue. How many were there for the 9-11 ceremonies around Lake County? Granted, some were during the day but others were not.

8:33 I have seen the flags in Veterans Park numerous times. My computer skills are not where they should be. I hope the three ??? doesn't imply something? and what I do to memorialize 9/11 is attend Mass light a candle a say prayers. We all have different ways to remember the fallen. One thought always comes back to me about 9/11, that 343 firemen perished that day. I thought to myself at that time. I don't even know 343 firemen. I wonder if the flags were at the west end of the park facing city hall if more people would notice them?

“To be honest, I was expecting 10 people,” he said. “So, looking around, I can see it’s more than that and I’m really happy this many people came out.”
He said the next step is to garner more support.
“We’re going to keep planning more events,” he said, adding that HOLA has been a big help so far and he hopes to work more with that organization in the future.
Look at the pictures of the crowds way more than dozens. More like a gross.
So isn't that great? The illegals, and the people who advocate for the illegals, will continue to do more and more activities in our town. As they are doing this, more and more illegals will be COMING to our town. Honestly, this is all outrageous. These people are illegally here and they are celebrated here as if they are victims. Victims of whom? Their parents and/or themselves. This has nothing to do with our country except for the fact that they need to get out. Our country didn't do this to them. They did it, and now they need to leave. This town does not need any more of this, and our town certainly does not.
