"ALL SUMMER LONG" kid rock

Now nothing seems so strange when the leaves begin to change
Oh, how we thought those days will never end

The official end of summer comes to Painesville! Taste of Painesville, car shows even soon the farm market.

No this is Labor Day weekend and it signals the end of summer. School's back, Football's back Leaf rakings not far behind. It's the new fall item Pumpkin Spice, whatever that is?

So as we enjoy the near to last picnic, go to the air show, watch OSU on the tube as well as NASCAR Darlington race I hope you all enjoy this Labor Day weekend.

Labor Day has been celebrated since 1882. I guess it's the only day we honor ourselves as worker's.

So enjoy the weekend and have a safe holiday and remember that shovel in the garage with spider webs! Dust it off.

Shouldn't it be the unofficial end of summer?

Along with those old bald guys and their fat ugly grandma's riding loudly along the streets on their Harley! It's enough to wish for snow 12 months a year. Easy on the eyes Rider's there not.

That Darlington race was a good time, was it not? Glad to see Ken Squier and Ned Jarrett up in the booth...and that 21 looking great and fighting hard.

Adam, great race and enjoyed the throwback paint schemes! Never realized how much I missed that orange Tide car.
With most sponsorship of NASCAR being automotive product related Proctor & Gamble sponsored a car. The rest is history Tide sales in the south skyrocketed and NASCAR sponsorship was never the same!

Hard to argue against a (then) winning combination. Darrell Waltrip was still competitive and popular, as the Tide Ride preceded his venture into ownership with his awful Western Auto team.
