Recently so much has been made on the semantics of what to call radicals whose goal is to kill us.
Now FOXNEWS daily , hourly criticizes the President for not calling a spade a spade. There Radicalized Islam, or Radicalized Muslims... why can't the man bring himself to calling it what it is.
Simple answer to the people in Middle Eastern countries; only the word Islam and Muslim will be heard. So what? Well, if you really want to defeat ISIS, you need the resources and support from those countries. If the President uses the term Islamic Radicalized Muslims to ISIS, it means we, as a country, agree that this is a Holy War. They will spread this thinking throughout the Muslim world.
Noted Conservative columnist Cal Thomas claimed Christians don't act in this way. Really, Cal?
Let's take a short trip back in history. What, if at the start of WWII, FDR would have called Germany Radicalized German Christians?
Let's face it... compared to the Nazi's, ISIS is the JV team. A Christian country (mostly Catholic and Protestant) killed over six million Jews in the Holocaust. Where was the Pope, where were Protestant leaders while all this was going on? They were unaware? Or maybe not wanting to be invited to Auschwitz?
No, the leaders of our country always claimed we were at war with the Third Reich , Nazi, or the Axis Powers. Very few in power called it a war against the German people or Crazy Christians killing Jews.
How many American people would have been insulted or not even supported the war if we had defined it as Radical Christianity?
Yes, words have meaning and I for one just want the problem exterminated. I don't want to argue over words.
Recently FOX implied that the administration was showing it's cards by suggesting a major offensive on Mosul. A day later they reported about a attack soon on the Mall of America by Al Shabaab. Were they showing their cards or just giving us something to think about?
Congress should give the President an authorization of war or cut off all funds... just do something.

Someone needs to do some reading on Nazi Germany. The leaders of Nazi Germany were certainly not Christians or Catholics. The Nazi leadership (Hitler, Goerbels, Himler, etc.) were primarily agnostic and/or pagan. They were interested in forming their own national religion by eliminating all references to the Jewish origins of Christianity. The majority of the people of Germany were primarily Lutheran followed by Catholic but the Nazi leadership was most certainly not Christian or Catholic. Actually the Nazi's attacked many of the Catholic institutions in Germany during their years in power.
It just amazes me what examples the Democrats can come up with to validate and justify Obama and what he is not doing to protect our country from radical Muslims and/or the illegals. I voted for him two times, I am ashamed to say, and even if I throw G. W. Bush into the mix, I have never, in all my years, seen a more incompetent, frightening president who is putting America at risk in every possible way. And now you are comparing ISIS with the Nazi's to justify Obama? This is a new threat, per se, that's been around a long time, and is escalating to a level that may make it World War III. Obama is so busy giving our country away with both fists to people of other countries, that he is completely lacking in focus as the entire world comes under attack. And who does he think is going to win this battle after he finishes weakening America to a point where she is unrecognizable. His motives are not noble, and he obviously is even less intelligent than G. W. Bush. Our country is under serious attack, some of which is Obama's own making, and we are not even remotely protected. He's busy going after cops instead of ISIS, for just one small example. By the time his two years are up, we'll be lucky if we can salvage what is left of our country.

Notice that three things were mentioned: ISIS, illegals, and the Obama administration's treatment of cops, but the only thing 3:38 focused on is the illegals so he can slam one group that didn't want him. The Dems just lost the last elections by a landslide, but yet are too ignorant to know that it is because of these three reasons. Ask 3:38 for HIS job, illegal Mexican; I bet he won't give it to you. Yes, Bush lied to get us into Iraq. But that is in no part an excuse for Obama's frightening foreign (and domestic) policies. It is in fact, not even a part of the scenario. Obama has been on his own for six years to deal with the world, and he is a frightening failure; we'll be lucky if there's still a United States of America left by the time he gets out of office in two years, let alone a world.
Yes, Obama killed Bin Laden. That also is not a pass for his subsequent (and previous) frightening, inadequate and incompetent foreign (and domestic) policy. That was one act, and he has dropped the ball, to say the least on the rest.

I was as informed as I could possibly get, but after seeing what the Republicans did during their eight years and how they were still acting and talking, and also knowing how inadequate and horrible Obama was, it still seemed like Obama was a better bet. But in the end, they couldn't even get the DHS appropriations bill separated from the illegal immigration moves Obama put in it, so that they could be voted on separately. It used to be that appropriations bills were appropriations bills, and not loaded with gun powder for our country. Republicans are useless, and the Democrats are worse than useless...they're dangerous.
