"I'M SORRY SO SORRY" brenda lee

Well to you readers in Painesville I owe an apology. I sent you some bad misinformation.

A resident shared with me some billing information he received from a relative.

In the post "The Way I Am" I gave a short summary of water rates for different water suppliers in our area. Seems although my calculations on the 4488 gallons of water I did miss out on the Lake County minimum charge amount of $31.41 which would make Painesville's rate of  $23.80 $7.62  cheaper  a month than Lake County Water Service. LCWS has a minimum fee of $31.41 for the first 1,200,000 cubic ft. of water.

My apology to the Water Department and the City Administration as well as residents for posting these wrong numbers.

It is my and this site responsibility to inform Painesville residents with the absolutely true facts.

Sorry another retraction. (I got to quit listening to some of you) the County water system is $31.41 PER THREE MONTHS making monthly minimum $10.71 ? Look back to square one does anybody ever wonder why everybody has a different process?

NOT SO SORRY BUT MORE CONFUSED?

Who uses 1,200,000 cu. ft. of water a month at their residence? Is the county's purpose just to charge everyone $31.42.

So tired of tacked on fees and charges I'm not sure who can figure out any bills received by a government entity.

Had to run out this morning around 7:15 am...... No plows yet and the roads are so bad I'm starting to wonder if it would be cheaper to abandon the roads and just buy every licensed driver in the city a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
Dodging pots is impossible as the pot holes are winning.

Lake County Dept. Utilities bills for water and sewer quarterly. So it's not per month, but per QUARTER.

Sandy, maybe it's meant to not be understood? Watch the council meeting with your bill in hand, does any of this make sense?

Also the potholes are taking a toll on our snowplowing equipment. (Heard three trucks down.) Also that includes a new truck ordered in July that still hasn't arrived.( Seem the FD is not the only ones with truck troubles) Now back to my same tune the former CM and PWD didn't have a workable replacement plan so here we are in 2015. But you have streetscape! Downtown to buy postcards, and syrup!

Well Now, Who's dumb idea was it to buy a plow truck that can't arrive on time, in time to be used for the Winter in Painesville. Poor street department will be hearing about this for years now on this blog.Stuff happens, it's how one handles it and here you people aren't very forgiving when a problem arrives. Good luck Brian & all involved with that purchase.

Wish council understood the difference between a fee and a tax...... Oh yeah they are one and the same. Does anyone remeber taxation without representation? There has been little to protect residents from "fees" tacked on to all utilities. If residents say No, it means No. It's why items don't make it to the ballot where many of these things belong, the AMP deal.

Apologies for the 90 second response comment? Where would one find that, it's wrong too.

4:48 I should apologize for something told to me?

Sandy Fees are Taxes and Notes are Loans it just sounds less intrusive.

12:49 How is it Brian's or anyone's fault? This is not the same situation as the fire truck. Or are you just wanting to look for excuses?
