"SHAKEDOWN" bob seger

Well Monday nights 'Special' council meeting will start a little earlier 7:00 p.m.
Wonder what kind of turnout to expect? Will some come out of the shadows to support the levies?
Will some come in opposition to them?
Will anyone suggest  "What will we do if the levies fail?"
My best guess is that one will pass but not both.

Will council members be in support of the levies?
I don't want to hear lets give the voter an opportunity. What isn't that what you gave voters last November? Will they keep asking until they pass?

Will anyone suggest  "other revenue streams?'

Look I've pretty much heard them all what we have created here is a diverse community of poor White people, Black people, and Hispanic people. Throw in an ageing population and well there ain't much there.... there.

Changing reciprocity amounts will it make any difference? Seems I remember a study done when the hospital moved how poor our community was? Lowest per capita of vehicles as well as income in the county.

What can the city do with and do without?

Something tells me the only ideas  we will hear are the same old same old.
Think out of the box? People we are all in the box!

Maybe another SHAKEDOWN of the residents is all we got?

Get a new economic developlement dept! You cannot balance this cities budget on the backs of home owners.

How do poor Bed Room Communities do it? Moorland Hills have nice roads. If we do change to a Mayor form of Government and If Arelene Becks Becomes the Mayor of Painesville.. This would be a Hudge change for the better. She could find the MONEY (legally)?

Big doings at City Hall tonight!

Odd how our 'expert' staff failed to inform the government desk at the News-Herald? No mention of tonight's meeting in the government section. Who's responsible and why did the fail to notify them? OR maybe the News-Herald is to blame?

9:08 Maybe 6:12 isn't on the offical email list? I'm not.
The city has a responsibility to inform as many people as they can. Council-President Hada explained these meeting were for the public?
Guess there toooo busy under the 'Golden Dome' to notify the public????

I am sure these as well as other records will be made public IF and when Ms. Becks runs for Mayor. Until then she is a private citizen. Along with no knowledge how good a golfer she is?

Thinking outside the box....... If the city is truly sitting on 26 million in the utility fund I would suggest giving homeowners a rebate in lieu of opting for the road levy.

3;25 There is a box daily in the News-Herald marked Agenda. Maybe just maybe it should have been inserted in there the day of the meeting? Look council wants input from the community and they should have covered all avenues.
Accuse or defame? After last nights meeting that can be considered a nice thing to say.
No lets hurry up and jam it in!
