"SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL" rolling stones

After reading this news release from AMP-OHIO I have no idea what the purpose was?
How come we're paying so much?
Is Unit 1 at Prairie State even running now?
This release seems to be what they used to get everyone to buy into their scheme?

EXCEPT
Columbus, Yellow Springs, Oberlin, Ohio and other's with some common sense. Explain that,Sir.

Presently I'm thinking of getting some T-shirts printed up

        "GROW YOUR OWN DOPE
     PLANT AN AMP-OHIO PARTICIPANT"

What do you think , but first read this electric fluff. This is how they expect to turn the heat off?

Please feel free to read the article at ;

Gerken wrote this 24 hours or so before PRAIRIE STATE SHUT DOWN again.

AMP is gettig heat from WEWS, Toledo Blade, Columbus Dispatch .. trying to deflect it and blaming the decisions on the communities instead now ... he left out the part of his toady consulting company they use .. SAWVEL .. that convinced all these communities how great this was going to be.

Did he tell about the seedlings they planted ... they'll be harvested in a few years for woodburning power plant they are scheming about.

Completely different topic....did you hear about Hale road Elementary? Asbestos was found in the school during summer construction work. Now they have to find an alternate location to house all the students this year.
They won't be ready to start school when the rest of the district starts either.

4:55 Know nothing about the situation at Hale Road Elementary. I belive there was Asbesto's used back in the Era that building was constructed.
Painesville put out bids to remove Asbesto's from the Millstone. Condo's?
I didn't even realize it was still being used as late as the 70's, maybe in theshingles on the roof. Just a guess.

5:51 AMP-OHIO better get ready for a lot more heat. After there involvement with Columbus I would guess asuming them as experts on electric power is in the dumpster. Council people presently on council I believe will no longer take advise from AMP, the city manager, or a councilman that proudly votes and drags the rest into these messes. It is an expensive mistake for Painesville to have learned and I wish I could tell you that I believe it will end well for us. Look at what Galion is paying for electricity, are we far behind? Will resident's electric rates subsidize big commercial users?

Anyone find it odd that the Plain Dealer has not mentioned the PRAIRIE STATE FIASCO once ?

The PD and Columbus Dispatch exchange stories all the time ... Yet the PD wont mention a single word about this.

The city of Cleveland is one of trhe biggest AMP suckers and not one question.

WHO IS AMP paying off at the PD ?
