"FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH' buffalo springfield

Something happenin' here, what it is ain't exactly clear.

Just when I'm trying to figure out what Dan Troy is up to or isn't up to. Now Congressman LaTourette drops a bigger bomb. Didn't either of these two gentlemen give any thought to any of this before they went out to seek their parties nomination in March? Mr. Troy seems more comfortable as County Commissioner and Congressman LaTourette seems to believe he's seen enough of Washington D.C. politics to call it quit. His wisdom is needed now more than ever before. Yes, Steve it seems compromise is dead. We don't need Statesmen anymore we need cheerleaders.
That or maybe he's tired of all the games? Maybe he doesn't want to be associated with people who will cut Medicare [he more than anyone has read the Ryan Plan] along with other safety net programs to give the top 1% more tax cuts? Many people in his district will miss him.

If Dan Troy decides to not run the Democrats have many fine people to fill his spot. A candidate such as Mentor-on-the-Lake Mayor John Rogers would fill the spot perfectly. This man has forgotten more than his opponent knows about legislation.  along with more Democrats in the district than Republicans. Lori DiNallo will not have a cakewalk to Columbus. Her biggest problem will be what to do with all the photocopies of Troy with Jimmy Dimora and Frank Russo. Again what are her qualifications again? Less than three years on Painesville City Council that might be more of a hindrance than a qualifier.

LaTourette absence poses a big problem for the Ohio GOP who to replace him with. Dale Fellows will have input but a higher position will decide this.A Tea Party candidate or one from the established Republican party. Either way if you run a far right guy you might alienate most moderates in the district. If you go with the establishment candidate the Tea Partiers might say THF and stay home. You already have them choking on Romney how much can they stand before it appears they don't stand for anything?
Yes Party Meeting at Harvey High School August 7, 2012 wana bet no one brings up the U.N. that nite?

***********************************************************************************
I guess AMP-OHIO is not very happy with the Investigative Report Newsnet. 5 did on  the Prairie State Energy Campus  as well as AMPGS  plant a couple of weeks ago. Maybe Marc and the rest of the Ampers  should be more concerned about the rumor the plants been shut down for the last week?  Something  happenin  here ain't exactly clear, either.

Just waiting for Tim Grendell to say he wants that job now, its been at least 6 months as judge now. He seems to like to change office like the rest of us change underwear.

Grendell is the favorite, to be the one.

Then if Portman becomes Vice-President Judge Grendell can move up to fill that spot. State s senator, state represtaive, county judge, congressman senator. doesn't the Republican Party have anyother qualified people?

Term, your lack of knowledge on this is amazing. What about your great party? Are they asking or forcing their candidate to step down now???? Do they want a stronger candidate? We shall see. It won't be the way you think it will be. Maybe the POC should nominate someone or maybe the Occupy Wall Street too. Are either still around?????

I heard Kucinich went from Cleveland to Washington State to Owego Street to run for Congress!!!!!!!!

Could be a new top dog or top dud in Painesville.

Sound about right

4:15 Your lack of facts amazes me.
LaTourette steps aside at the last minute to screw who? Not the DEMS but the GOP. He knows whats coming and wants no part of it. Don't look now but your party is being taken over by a bunch of knuckle draggers, Who have no use for government to funtion at all. The Constitution? Where in the Constitution is it against same sex marriage? Some of these people want to rewrite the Bill of Right. Romney is like that horse he owns, he better dance the way he's led or it curtains for him. This is what you look for in a leader?
Simple truth LaTourette took a lock and turned it into a toss up.
Romneys tax plan will increase working peoples taxes on the average of $2000 a year to give millionaires a tax cut? How does any of this balance the budget.
4:15 People are starting to wake up to the facts and your guy is in trouble.

knuckle dragger here

Must have hit a little to close to home, HUH.

Have to resort to name calling. Bush should come up sooner or later. If Blanchard stays in the race, I will be surprised. Looking forward to see who will run for this office on both sides.

See, I can say that without resorting to name calling.

6:37 The term "knuckle draggers" Was first used by Congressman LaTourette when speaking of tea partiers. I have mentioned this before. Complain to him I just repeated what he considers you.

Term, how does this nomination process work? Who is this higher posotion who will appoint a replacdment?

Good, I'm glad we finally can get rid of a Democrat in Republican clothes. Latourette has been there too long anyway.

4:20 I believe the final decision rests with the Chairman of the Ohio GOP.
5:16 And what if you get a true Democrat as a replacement?
Congressman LaTourette served the district quite well. I may not always agreed with a vote but I respected him as a legislator.
Hope I can say that about the next person.

I can only exclaim WTF!
Columbus,Ohio has switched electric companies from AEP to AMP-OHIO. Now Columbus,Ohio refused to join in on the Prairie State as well as Meigs County fasco.
Now starting in 2014 AMP-OHIO will contract with Columbus LOWER electric cost than those Painesville, Galion and everyone else got sucked into with Prairie State. Ask our City Manager as well as Council-President how that happened? Trust us? not a chance,

knuckle dragger

Term 4:20

Not so.

But I have been told I lack the facts according to you.

LaTourette said because he would withdraw from the ballot Aug. 8, Ohio law dictates the party chairmen and GOP central committee secretaries of the seven counties within the congressional district will have until Aug. 13 to place another candidate on the Nov. 6 ballot. It also avoids a Republican primary to name a new candidate.

Looks like you were wrong Term

2:35 Sorry if you disagree but what he said he said.
"You got to get in peoples faces" he told APTA participants
"You have to go in and ask for something."
"Even of the knuckledraggers that came in in the last election that hate taxes." His statement not mine. Unless he was talking about well I don't know who?
Look up he said at the APTA meeting fact check me.
To his credit he also refuse to sign that stupid no tax pledge Norvell threatened everyone with.

3:11 Wonder who will get the nod? Stand corrected, sorry.
Wonder if any suggestions from the LCTP people will be asked?
Anyone with U.N. credentials?

Prairie State fiasco keeps getting better by the day.

The PLANT has been shut down since July 19th ... same problem as before ... all according to workers at it in Illinois

NEXT INTEREST PAYMENT DUE IN 12 days... 100 grand

PAY UP ... AMP HQ needs more LOBSTER and CHAMPAGNE

At August 3, 2012 at 7:27 PM , Anonymous TERM>> said...

Seems I'm getting information before city officals do? Or they ain't talking?
I can't get over the fact that AMP-OHIO contracts out electric power cheaper than Painesville can get it made at Prairie State and makes it public?
Well maybe Columbus council people looked before they leaped.

Painesville city officials are not talking ... Galion city officials except for one are not talking ...

The mindset is ... if you stick your head in the sand .. the problem doesn't exist.

The fact that AMP has given the city of Columbus a better deal on power than the OUTRIGHT INVESTORS of this boondoggle is outrageous to say the least.

AMP did this for political reasons. Heavy pressure is coming from state officials and lots of questions being asked now .. this just started.

When the DUST SETTLES .. AMP officials will be going to JAIL.
