"UNDER PRESSURE" queen

Yes city council is under pressure and will try to get things done.... Undercover?
The much anticipated water department report was in councils hands Friday. Council-President Hada immediately called for a "special work session" to take place at 6:00pm next Monday night April 11,2011? Not a bad idea the last thing you would want city residents to see is the condition of that water pipe at a regular council meeting. I will ask council members to televise that work session so the people of Painesville can at least see "how the sausage is made".
Councilman Flock asked if Dan McGannon the present water department head will be at the presentation next Monday. The City Manager seemed surprised that he would attend.
My feeling are still that if council wants this or any other pipe fixed we will need to raise the price of water in Painesville.n To that I ask just what did that 2% raise cost the city budget on April !,2011?
Under pressure? Looking at the map in the report my street doesn't have 250 gallon a minute capacity. So when it rains I have to worry about water getting in and now if it catches fire I have to worry if water would get in. The Painesville Daily Double.
It's going to take more then myself to get this work session on T.V. please call your councilman.

There is enough bad comedy on TV already, I don't think I want to see a work session of 7 incompatible idiots all pulling in a different direction.

I just found out today that Osborn has been preparing the land off the road to nowhere for his new housing allotment. Now someone please tell me we didn't put in this road to nowhere just for him. I haven't been able to figure out why we would invest that kind of money to start something that the money to finish wasn't guaranteed. And then in the end the money doesn't come through to finish it, and we have put out all this money. Did we do this as a gift to Osborn?

Cleveland has a 82% increase in their water cost to cover improving water service in Cleveland.. Maybe we will have more people moving to Painesville?

To 5:12: It would not surprise me if that is what happened. One sneaky, creepy thing after the other happens in this city. We'll have to keep an eye out on that one. Term, do you or John have an opinion on this one?

First remember not one penny was set aside for new water lines in this years budget. So I believe Hada and McMahon will both say that we need another increase in water rates if you want these water pipes repaired.
My question would be what percentage of our water bill is put in reserve for intrastructure presently and how much of the water fund budget has been spent on annexed land ?[Diamond Center example]

OOPS, guess I blogged under the wrong area. Here goes again: Who approves the budget? Council? Mr. Flock is on council so therefore isn't he at fault for not being prepared for the water problem too?
