"HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY'

This is the time of year we give thanks to the Almighty for letting us prosper this year. We all have had trials and tribulations that we have dealt with this year. Some have lost family members and some have gained some were unemployed for the first time and hopefully some found a job. Keep the faith sometimes I believe its all we have. Stop for a second tomorrow, look around at the people around you you can be thankful for. God Bless.

Something I'm thankful of? As of today this blog. has received over 20,000 hits Thanks mainly to Badger, and you other eleven people.

And thanks to you, Term.

I try to point out things from a different viewpoint or as Paul Harvey use to say " the rest of the story." People can disagree with my conservative views or Term's liberal ones. But the fact of the matter is that to have constructive debates you need to listen to both sides. The extreme left or the extreme right don't elect or govern. It is the people who are in the middle that determine what happens.

So it is these people who are willing to at lest listen I give thanks for on this American Holiday.

Hope you and your families have a happy Thanksgiving.

and to you Term!

and everyone else who takes the time to read the blog and comment.........

Had a great time last night; walked down to Bistro 70 with our neighbors, tipped a few cold ones and listened to Alex Bevan play some great music.

and yup 20,000 hits is very realistic, technology allows us to monitor all hits on the web, thank you big brother

And why would you find that so hard to believe? This blog has been running for over two and a half years which equals aproximately 900 plus days. Divide 900 by 20,000 and you get an average of 22 hits a day. Not far-fetched at all.

7:43 is funny. Would love to know who it is and why all the intensity. If it's the same person over and over who makes these kinds of posts, then I wonder how many hits THEY'RE responsible for?

9:38 I used that number because a long time ago someone mentioned this blog. only had a dozen followers. If you agree or not I believe its reaching more then 12 people.
What I find surprising is how fast we went from 10,000 to 20,000.
Without any advertisment. All the gains are by word of mouth.

Will be posting about the city budget next.

This is 12:06 to 12:13. Not a thing. Just poking fun at 7:43 in the nicest possible way I could find to do so. Give me a break - "what are you worried about" - too funny. Now I'm laughing at you, too.

To Everyone: Happy Thanksgiving and the best to all of you for the upcoming holiday season.

As for the comments, I just have this to say: if you are reading my comment, then you are one of the "hits" this blogspot receives. Who cares if it is 12 people - or more/less. This is a opportunity to pass information/opinions on to others. Whether we agree, disagree or just agree to disagree - here we all are! I have respect for all the commenters, even if I am not on the same page. If this site is offensive to you, YOU have the right to NOT read anything on it. It's YOUR choice. The ONLY reason I respond as "anonymous" is to protect my job. I don't know if it would matter or not, but in an age where "social networks" can get you fired, I can't take that chance in this economy. If I can ever be my own boss, then I'll gladly state my name.

If I were referred to as "dirty" dozen, I wouldn't be proud of that fact.
