"LA BAMBA" richie valens

Badger seems to be more then little concerned about the Illegal Immigration mess.
Sorta see it the same way he does, except for a few minor things.
President Caldron,s address to a joint meeting of the House. Sorry Badger I'm glad he made it. The man all but chastised the United States and Arizona's Border laws. To bad in one of those rare occasion's I wish a senator or congressman had walked up to a camera after the address. Told the American people how important the presentation was and that the Mexican President had made and starting tomorrow he or she would send a bill to the hill that mimics the Mexican law word for word. [You want to hear an uproar]
Mexicans aren't stupid truth be told, they just believe the American people are. People like Veronica Dahlberg run around and tell us how wrong we are only to avoid the fact that the problem is with Mexico and the Mexican people.
A good example is the Hispanic caucus in the House of Representative's. Congressman Luis Gutierrrez from Illinois that mans a piece of work. My people, his people. sorry buddy you work for the American people. Funny I wonder if the Mexican Government has an Anglo or Black caucus.
On a positive note he was first Mexican President to ever place a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier in Arlington Cemetery.
It's time to insist the people are heard, and knock off the B.S.

Okay then we should have the SAME immigration laws as Mexico, and enforce them the same way they do. That seems fair to me. Who could argue with that?

MEXICO IS ANGRY !

Can you believe the nerve of these people? It's almost funny.
The State of Sonora is angry at the influx of Mexicans into Mexico . Nine
state legislators from the Mexican State of Sonora traveled to Tucson to
complain about Arizona 's new employer crackdown on illegals from Mexico .
It seems that many Mexican illegals are returning to their hometowns and
the officials in the Sonora state government are ticked off.
A delegation of nine state legislators from Sonora was in Tucson on
Tuesday to state that Arizona 's new Employer Sanctions Law will have a
devastating effect on the Mexican state.
At a news conference, the legislators said that Sonora, - Arizona's
southern neighbor, - made up of mostly small towns, - cannot handle the
demand for housing, jobs and schools that it will face as Mexican workers
return to their hometowns from the USA without jobs or money.
The Arizona law, which took effect Jan. 1, punishes Arizona employers who
knowingly hire individuals without valid legal documents to work in the
United States .
Penalties include suspension of, or loss of, their business license.
The Mexican legislators are angry because their own citizens are returning
to their hometowns, placing a burden on THEIR state government. 'How can
Arizona pass a law like this?' asked Mexican Rep Leticia Amparano-Gamez,
who represents Nogales .
'There is not one person living in Sonora who does not have a friend or
relative working in Arizona ,' she said, speaking in Spanish. 'Mexico is
not prepared for this, for the tremendous problems it will face as more
and more Mexicans working in Arizona and who were sending money to their
families return to their home-towns in Sonora without jobs,' she said. 'We
are one family, socially and economically,' she said of the people of
Sonora and Arizona .
Wrong!
The United States is a sovereign nation, not a subsidiary of Mexico , and
its taxpayers are not responsible for the welfare of Mexico 's citizens.
It's time for the Mexican government, and its citizens, to stop feeding
parasitically off the United States and to start taking care of its/their
own needs.
Too bad that other states within the USA don't pass a law just like that
passed by Arizona .
Maybe that's the answer, since our own Congress will do nothing!

New Immigration Laws: Read to the bottom or you will miss the message...

1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools.

2. All ballots will be in this nation's language..

least equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.

naturally born into this country.

&, when caught, sent to jail until your deportation can be arranged. All
assets will be taken from you.

Too strict ?
The above laws are current immigration laws of MEXICO !

These sound fine to me. NOW, how can we get these laws to be America 's
Immigration Laws?

Yes, I am concerned about this and other things too. People may not like what I stand for here in Painesville, but my main objective is to open people's eyes to ILLEGAL immigration and get them involved. Get people to vote and to try to get our congressmen to listen to the people.

Speaking of Congressman Gutierrez -- that's why we must not elect any Hispanics to office in the United States. They are all for open borders and amnesty. They are all for "their" people and not for ours. The Mexicans and the rest of the Hispanics are carefully aware of every Hispanic who gets into office. They count them, and they know that each new one puts them one step closer to taking over America.

6:34's post is a very important post. We need to get millions to march on Washington on those laws being enacted in the US. I can't believe the nerve of these Mexican people and their government. It is certainly time we find our backbones here and demand that our government take back our country.

It just drives me crazy because if every American who was against the illegals stood up and fought against it, our government would be forced to get them out. Everyone needs to join in. This really is the time. We could do this now, thanks to Arizona, if everyone joined in.

I sent letters to Obama and Biden, etc., just a week or so ago (again) about getting the illegals out. Looks like I'll have to send a copy to Michelle. Nice little photo op with the poor little Mexican girl with the illegal mother. Nobody can tell me that that was not staged. So now we need a cute little girl whose parents are both legal asking the first lady about all the illegals that are in her country draining it dry for her and future generations. Where's the cartoon character about THAT?

I am so sick of the "illegal issue"! What IS the problem? It's very simple - if you apply/qualify for citizenship, welcome to the United States. If you cannot or will not apply/qualify for citizenship, then GO BACK HOME! This comment is meant to cover ALL illegals - I do not care where you are coming from! It always seems that politicians take problems with simple (or at least black and white) solutions and turn them into some long, drawn-out drama! ENOUGH ALREADY!! If they can't prove they belong here, then SEND THEM HOME! I may sound unkind, but if I abide by the laws of this country, then I expect all others to do so as well.

1200 troops to the border. A start but is it enough?

Read this article on Illegal Immigration and how Mexico deals with it.

Kinda makes us look mild compared to Mexico's laws and how they treat the ones they catch.

I have heard through the grapevine that proper permits for the rally on Saturday, May 29th; for the Arizona rally have not been applied for and the rally will be rescheduled. I do not know if this is true but if you go there Saturday and no one is there...that is why.

At May 29, 2010 at 1:11 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

You know, last time there was a rally, was it you, Term, or someone else who kept mentioning that you thought there would be arrests of people in the Rally Team. There was no validation for that, and that, of course, did not happen. Now here you go talking about proper permits that have not been gotten. As far as I know, no permits are necessary. This just looks like more of your sabotage of the Rally Team to me.

Can someone from the Rally Team who knows comment on this? Is there anyone out there?

I am done mentioning anything about that group. I checked back and nowhere was it mentioned about arrests. Heck, we don't even arrest people here illegally now someone wants to arrest someone complaining about it?
I really don't know who's idea the rally for Saturday was. I don't believe they got the permits they needed, that something the rally group would have done.

I seemed to have been misinformed this eventy scheduled for Veterans Park today was sponsored by ALTO ARIZONA.COM
Arizona Solididarity. Stop Criminalizing our communities.
Yhis was a rally against what they call the hateful law SB 1070.

Now before I go off on a rant will someone please inform the Hisdpanic Community what this weekend is!
This is Memorial Day weekend and Thank God they did not get the permits to be in Veterans Memorial Park this weekend.
Meaning millions of veterans died protecting the borders of the United States against foreign aggression. This is not the time to listen to your misinformed dribble.
Funny though this Alto. Arizona believes being here illegally is a crime. To bad the people running this town don't see it that way.

Painesvilles leaders should be impeached. Loud noise, police not responding, illegals all over the place. They have left this go on for to long. I am sick and tired of excuses JiHada doesn't want to profile? Here's a profile he's been in charge for far too long. Let make him explain whats going on.

Um, how does the Arizona law criminalize anybody's community? If they're here illegally, they're already criminalized and they've done it to themselves. I am sick of these people.

Then again, if nobody would hire them, they wouldn't come, would they?

I'm all for a national ID card that we would ALL have to carry. You'd have to prove who you are, just like when you get a passport, to get one. And if you don't have one, you don't get hired. END OF PROBLEM!

I used to be proficient in Spanish. It wouldn't take me long to learn to say something like "Please turn the music down and quiet your children, it's late and you are disturbing your neighbors" in Spanish. Or if I were feeling really frisky, perhaps "In fifteen minutes, officials from the United States Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement will arrive, looking for Juan Rodriguez. Please be prepared to show legal identification if requested." Ha, bet that would break up these loud parties faster than you could say "Arriba! Arriba!" if someone issued this message through a megaphone directed at the offenders! What fun! Of course, I would never actually do that, but imagine how fast they'd scatter, and peace and quiet would be restored.

I wish something like this would work. Problem is the illegals know no one from the city, state or even the Federal government [ICE] will show up. This is what happens when everyone in charge looks the other way over the last 15 years.

Civil Disobedience? Listen to the rumblings.

Now the big guy in Peru is chastising the U.S for it's treatment of the illegals that are here from Peru. I guess he thinks HIS whole country should be legalized here, too. I mean, come on already.

If the civil unrest came from all the people who are against amnesty, the government would be forced to get them all out.

I just wrote Obama and Biden letters again. I got a standard letter back from Biden with the same dribble in it that the last letter I got from Obama had in it.

I'm a Democrat. I voted for them. I do realize that this is not just their fault, but I think that if everyone started yelling about impeachment for them because of all the illegals here, then they would be forced to listen and to act. Does anyone know if this even makes sense? In order to have an impeachable offense, it has to be "high crimes and misdemeanors," right? Or am I remembering that wrong? If I am right, then isn't there something in our constitution about not letting our country be invaded, for heaven's sake? I mean, these people have the biggest Trojan horse there ever was. It comes in the form of "these are just nice people who come here to better their families. They only take jobs that Americans don't want." They know they are invading and going to take over our country. If our leaders are too stupid, then maybe we just have to force their hand. Isn't this against our constitution in the worse way? Can you imagine what our grandfathers would have done? Not sit here and let it happen, that's for sure.

What does everyone think? Is this a crime against our constitution? Can we start fighting with the words treason or impeachment? I mean, if Clinton can be impeached because of lying about having consensual sex with a woman who was of age, (not that I think they were right to impeach him -- don't get me started on that) -- then can't we get the current administration -- or threaten to -- for letting this invasion take place?

If we really want to solve this problem, we need to stop fighting among ourselves and show a united front. Not every group or party have all the answers or the ultimate solution. Instead of attacking a group or party, try getting involved in one of these to help get the word out about ILLEGAL immigration.

Right now, the politicians worry about the losing the Hispanic vote more than solving this problem. They look at them as a whole for their votes. Get involved in your political party, any group that opposes ILLEGAL immigration and contact all your elected officials and let them know where you stand. Once they realize that we Americans are tired of this problem and see that they have more votes to lose if they don't do something we will continue to have to live with this problem. They will start to worry about losing our votes more.

1200 troops to the border but they can't do anything. Protests against the Arizona law right here in Painesville and all over. We need to protect our borders now and need to know who is in our country now.

The city of Painesville came together and put up a united front against the KKK in the square and rallied around our fallen Marine and were ready to keep the church from Kansas protesting here.

We need those same people to step forward now to fight this battle.

Badger, this is 12:51 -- just to clarify my post. I'm not saying it is all the Democrat's fault (in case that is what you thought I meant). I voted Democrat and am glad I did. I know it is both partie's fault. Bush was going to legalize them, too. But maybe whoever happens to be in office now (Democrats), should be shown signs that read "Amnesty = Impeachment." Back up messages can be for anyone who votes and/or wants amnesty -- "vote for amnesty and we'll get you out of office." Maybe that will get their attention finally.

As a side note: I just got another return letter from Obama. Same as the first. Amnesty by any other name ...

How odd it was for a family member to mention that Painesville is mentioned as one of five Sanctuary cities in Ohio. My brother in Arizona found a flyer that shows where all the cities were in North America. Get ready for more illegals their leaving Arizona and heading our way.
Thanks Rita, Chief Smith and the rest of the spineless leaders at city hall!

Let's also not forget to thank former councilman Horvath for even writing letters telling everyone how much we here in Painesville love our illegals so much that we are welcoming them with open arms, and we didn't want anything done differently. Veronica Dahlberg penned it and Horvath sent it on. This is when we were becoming a sanctuary city thanks to everyone in council then and McMahon. Many are still in office and still wrecking our city. During one of the first Rally Team rallies that was 2-3 years ago, I was informed that there is a song about Painesville being a sanctuary city and it says to go to Painesville, Ohio, etc. Nice, huh? I, too, would like to thank our so-called leaders for this mess in my city.

It is clear that most elected officials from both sides and at every level don't want to deal with this problem. One state, Arizona, finally had enough and just look at all the boycotts you hear about in the news. If the majority of Americans are against ILLEGAL immigration, why aren't the politicians listening. Why aren't the news sites reporting more stories about groups supporting Arizona's new law. What I am saying is that we need to put up a united front to solve this problem.

At June 3, 2010 at 8:10 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Clearly SOMEONE is benefiting from the presence of illegals but it's not the residents. What are our leaders afraid of? They won't even speak out against the problem, knowing how the citizens feel? This is ridiculous. I don't want my neighborhood turned into a barrio. Our council ought to at the very least sign a resolution stating that Painesville is NOT a sanctuary city, we do NOT welcome illegal immigrants, AND we stand in solidarity with Arizona and Arizona's excellent new law. But they haven't got the guts. I'd like to know what they're afraid of. They're clearly not respecting the people they are there to serve, are they?

At June 3, 2010 at 11:45 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

The reason there are so many boycotts is because of the amnesty in the 1970's. It gave the Hispanics enough voting numbers to take over the rule of some cities, like the cities in California that are boycotting Arizona. It's mostly the Hispanics who are in office who are doing the boycotts. That goes back to my statements that we must not vote for any Hispanics to be in any offices.

I think it is so frustrating that all the Americans that are against amnesty will not stand up and be counted and heard. If they were, the government would have to get them out. Our numbers would be too great not to. But most are still sitting on their butts and are being silent thinking that it is a fight that someone else is fighting for them, or that it is a Republican issue.

If these people are legalized, it will be the last time in office for anyone who is not Hispanic. It will be a Hispanic country, run by Hispanics for Hispanics. And we've seen how they run Mexico.

It's time to stand up, people. It's now or never. Arizona is brave, and they need the backing of everyone who is on their side. Now.

every state surrounding Ohio has announced they are working on legislation like Arizona's. Where do you think the illegals from those states will go? Right here to Ohio who's officials have said they will not file similar legislation. It is up to us, folks.

FOLLOW THE MONEY! It's big business that contributes to elected officials and the lobbyists in DC that do not want to stop illegal immigration. Our government won't stand up to them....too much money (power) to lose. They don't really care about immigrants, illegal or otherwise....they're just worried about alienating the business community.
And I agree 8:10....our city council took it upon themselves to turn Painesville into a sancuary city....lets remind them in November that they are not speaking for us.
