" SUMMER IN THE CITY"
Is it to early to think about summer? Well starting tomorrow night you can give your input into the new parks the City has acquired from the school system.
Lee Homyock Director of Recreation and Public Lands will have a Neighborhood Park Planning Input Meetings
when/where
For State St. Park Tuesday February 23, 7:00pm Heritage Middle School
For Huntington Park Tuesday March 9, 7:00pm Elm St. Elementary School
For Lathrop Park Tuesday March 23, 7:00pm Maple Elementary School
The city is looking for input from residents as to what they would like these properties to include.
The reason for attending is so in a year your not asking where that soccer field or basketball court came from.
If for some reason you cannot attend email Lee lhomyock@painesville.com or call the recreation department at[440] 392-5912

Safety Meeting
6:00pm City Hall
Items to be addressed Cobblestone, and EMS response throughout the city. This is a public meeting PLEASE attend this concerns all of us.
I was pleasently surprised with the comment made by Lori DiNallo tonight she must have started feeling comforable with her position.
One of the items she brought up, which I almost feel out of my chair. Housing Inspectors? What right have they got to come onto your property? She mentioned the uproar caused on Hine Ave. last fall with residents there.
She seemed very concerned about this subject and I expect she will follow-up on this.

Maybe new blood on council is a good idea?
What we don't need are more bobbleheads like Fountain and Hach.
If for no other reason (and there are plenty of other reasons), everyone who participated in turning Painesville into a sanctuary city for illegals needs to be run out of office. That includes McMahon, Hada, Hach and Fountain. The other two are already out of office. For one thing, after they succeeded in drawing all the illegals here, they then built schools based on their population. How they got away with all of this for so long, I do not know. Now, hopefully enough people are paying attention, and we can start doing something about all of this and them. Too bad Hada was just reelected to another four year term. Unbelievable. Or maybe they'd like to get us into another coal plant deal, or maybe they'd like to sit on another ten years of safety studies and do nothing about them. Bobbleheads is a good name for them. Better than what I was thinking.
The question every resident of Painesville should ask themselves, Are we on a sinking ship, or a shooting star?
Then again I'm starting to think most people in town don't care.
It's not about not caring.
I can't think of many who want to do what you do Term, stick your neck out.
There is safety in numbers but in reality there are only a handful who show up.
I watched how they railroaded Murphy, sent the inspectors after you. Tony they seem to ignore.
I remember a woman who used to stand at the podium every meeting and she was run out of town after she ran for council.
Waiting for the shoe to fall on Kathy Saks.
Waiting and watching.
can't believe this is the USA.
Good for Dinallo! Maybe she will come through.
Everyone on council owns homes and has watched their property be devalued too. Why? Schools? Sanctuary city? Maybe she is starting to connect the dots like the rest of us.
I hope so.
Attended the State St. Park meeting last night. People had many great ideas, the only problem seems to be is the size of the area in question. Its less than an 260ft by 280 feet.
How munch can you cram in that size of an area?
Ms. Dinallo will soon be explained what the true purpose of an inspector really is.
I think Ms. Dinallo already knows, that is why she shows concern.
It will be interesting to see how the city reacts to these inquires on the inspectors. Will they become less intrusive, or will they use them to make a point?
As a friend mentioned we have enough things they could concern themselves with other then going behind garages.
It does look very reassuring that Dinallo will be looking into this huge, ongoing problem with inspectors. So far it looks like Fodor will be part of the solutions and not part of the problems in this town. Wouldn't it be nice if Dinallo was, too? That would be a very good start.
Don't forget to pay your taxes....
Muchas gracias!
21 million illegal aliens are depending on you!
