"SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING MONDAY"

A special council meeting this Monday June 29,2009 at 6:00 p.m. [note special time]

Authorizing an agreement between the City and Zaremba Inc. on plans for the hospital site. They will probably show council a vision for what they want to do with that site.

LEED Standards for the redevelopment of the hospital site.
These standards will help the city get the grant money to tear the hospital down and clear the site.

Google RDP painesville if you want to see a very interesting business in town.

I just want to be the first to tell you , You Term [Angelo] are the presently the biggest a2@#$ole in the City of Painesville. Your goal to brng Painesville down will fail and YOU will be driven out of town again. August is just around the corner. August's a bad month?

Old Trees wither and die...........

There is nothing wrong with the posting on the special council meeting. Not sure where you took offense. If this is a posting trying to take the city down I think you better read it again.

LEEDS is a good thing and will help this city on it's way to green. Austin, TX has taken LEEDS buildings to the upper limits and is reaping the rewards.

Like it or not the hospital is done deal.

Zaremba puts out an excellent structure. Have you been in any of Zaremba's condo's or apartments in Cleveland? They do top notch work and it could be a corner stone to this city around.

Leeds, Zaremba...... should be a positive for this city.

Folks who want to bully behind the "Anonymous" label can not be taken very seriously. Since when shouldn't residents ask questions about decisions made in government; city, state and federal.
It's the United States of America not Iran .......
thank God.

off topic, but does anyone know when the barber shop had the car run into it? It is still not repaired. It looks awful. All boarded up and a crummy paint job that says "barber shop". Why have they not been forced to fix this? And it is in operation. Is there some extenuating circumstance I don't know about? Just curious. It is shameful.

You should probably specify your question. Why all the hate for angelo or why all the hate for anything associated with the city of painesville?
But either way "hate" is a good word.

Angelo has done nothing wrong. You must be afraid that you will be exposed if you want to drive TERM out of town. What have you done, anonymous? I'm sure we'll find out. TERM is the closest thing to a hero in this town. He fearlessly exposes areas of concern, knowing he will be a target. TERM, you have lived in Painesville your entire life, haven't you? If anyone loves this town it is you.

Term a hero?, OMG get a life. Do you realize how many people in this city actually help others everyday and not by complaining on a web site.
Yeah, he's real good at exposing stuff, now, lets hear about something he has actually worked at to fix.

I am not even close to being a hero. A little over four years ago I heard about the charter change for the 3.9 levy. Believe me this deal stunk for the residents of Painesville and I found some people who were way ahead of ne in trying to stop this change. I also learned about other dealing the city was involved in .
The citys purchase of 16 acres of swamp land near Whalers Cove for $250,000 that for the life of me what is Painesville ever going to do with that property, also I learned that purchase price was more than double what the original 33 acres was purchased for. When I asked the City Manager why the city aquired that land I was told "The County would redirect that money if we didn't purchase that land" to rhis day everytime I ask a County Offical abour this they just smile and laugh. Also the President of Council, William Horvath around the same time sent a letter to Senator DeWine composed by a Huspanic activist on City of Painesville stationary that the community was totally behind amensity for illegals aliens without any publis notice. I don't hate anyone in town but the more I looked around it looked as if the citizens of Painesville were getting short changed. This was. and still can be a great town to live and raise a family in.
