"Yea, too bad what is going there will not work, just one big pipe dream......"
See this site continues to have posts like this without giving any information. Now the "insiders" get to go ahead and bash whatever it is until the all-knowing term reveals this "horrible atrocity" to us. It will already have been smeared when the truth finally comes out.
I don't want to be a rumor spreader and am checking into it as we speak, but word I have is that Crossroads did buy the property. Their plans are what I am waiting to hear before I say anything. JT
"Crossroads is a private, nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to providing a range of services to children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional, behavioral and substance abuse problems." currently located in Mentor
Good thing they didn't decide to buy next to Argone Apt. It could be a field day for the kids.. People think "better in Mentor" They came to Painesville
The plan was in the paper, it is going to be like a mall for services, it will bring a lot of small places together, wont bring much work or money to town, due to the fact they will be no-profit services.
God how soon can I sign up for services......... every resident should get a free pass, would have liked a pool or a senior facility or any freak'n community facility
Don't forget the residual effect here. When a Superbowl is in town it is not the game that brings money to the local economy but the residual effect. Eateries, hotels and businesses all benefit. Long term, who knows really what the positive outcome will be, but it could also be a draw for other services to come to the City if they see a "positive" movement here. JT

No,smear, just looking for some verification, anything that brings jobs to Painesville is a good thing.
Verification of what? Brings what kind of jobs to Painesville at what business? You seem to know something, why keep the suspense going? Just tell us.
If you look at the title it was a question? Maybe Crossroads is coming to town?
So I have to break your code? What is crossroads anyway?

Good Point
wont bring much work or money to town, due to the fact they will be no-profit services.
It will bring the income taxes of the employees and anything is more than what they got from Colony Lumber
It will bring more "troubled" individuals into town for their freebie treatments.
oh good maybe the people living in the tent on the Main ST. Bridge will have a happy place to go besides their little tent........
or is that the welcome tent at the Gateway to Painesville......... nice.
Maybe it would be a better idea if Painesville went out and got a grant to tear it down, seems like a good idea at other sites.
