People expect this man to get up this morning and walk on water? The expectations are way to high and alot of people will feel letdown in a year or so. I wish him a the luck in the world and my prayers are with him.

You will only be let down if you sit by and do nothing. In his speech yesterday I believe he called on all Americans to roll up their sleeves and dig in.
Looking at my options to see where I want to spent a couple of my hours each week to help out.

Bush depleted our military, wrecked our economy, turned the world against us, made us beholded to China with our national debt, and gave us the worst recession since the Great Depression.

America lay in ruins thanks to Bush.

so you never thought to volunteer until the God Obama told you to? You are pathetic. And the money spent on his inauguration is a sin. You democrats complained when Bush spent 42 million on his inauguration and yet Obama spends 170 million + but that's ok. You people are such hypocrites. TERM, I thought you said that political bashing would be put on your other site. Oh, that's right. It was probably you that posted that unnecessary comment. Goodbye.

I don't know about that poster but I was never inspired to get involved until this election. But you would be misplaced to think it was becaus "obama told me to". It was really because Bush and the Republicans did such and awful job and sent us spinning into the toliet that I ditched my affliation with the republican party, became an independent and did everything I could to make sure they would not retain power.

Ok so I assumed we were talking about volunteering in a political election. I shoudl have known you would take it that way. So I will revise:

I never volunteered in a POLITICAL CAMPAIGN until after bush.
Plus if I did any slacking off it was during my term as a republican.
You aren't a very good listener are you. You only want to talk.

"Looking at my options to see where I want to spent a couple of my hours each week to help out." The election is over. You were not talking about volunteering in an election. This statement is made about general volunteerism.

Looks like we have two different volunteers in the discussion and you have them confused.
