RAMBLINS' II

WOW! I hit a nerve. Great comments, and I'm glad its not just me. Did Tony step on someones toes? He's more good free P.R. then just about anyone in town.
"Selective" seems to be the way we view a lot of thing that go on in town. Here's one, major construction on a home at 597 N.St.Clair St. wonder if they have a building permit? Some nationalitys don't seem to concered about documentation. Maybe someone will ask. I see this all the time. I was told you need a permit to put in a new water heater is this true?
One thing else Painesville residents should wonder about. We were told when Lake East closed there would be an Emergency Room left in town. Well now it's an Urgent Care Facilty. {Nowhere near the same thing] Wonder where it will be downtown? The old Rite-Aid building? Somewhere else near the square? Hey everyone knows downtown is dead, who said it had to be downtown? Theres a vacant lot across from Kurly Cone why not put it there? Just a thought I heard.

This selective thing seems to be across the board, is there anyway to check out the records for citations, arrests, permits etc?

Can it be that blatant? I have talked to some of the police and I have to tell you have had first hand experience, the officer was fair and his hands were tied. He bent over backwards to help a bad situation better.

Just seems there should be a public record to follow.
just wondering...........

Are you doing drugs? The Urgent Care Center will be downtown no one has ever said anything different, You just love to start crap.

Reading this blog seems that some "SELECTIVE" people get information that the rest of us are not privy to. If theres a rapist around I want to know. The arrogance, the police knew. How did YOU know?
I hate it when the police call someone a civilian,What are they?
If not civilians?

I hope your wrong about the location. Why would they put it there?

The water tank permit is true. By code, you need a permit to install just about anything in your house. Check out section 1303.02 of the City code. I doubt much of these are enforced, which is probably a good thing, but the fact they exist allow for someone to get nailed if they don't pay the permit/tax to install sink, sprinkler, dishwasher, or even a water cooler.

JUST BECUSE HE IS TONY, DOES NOT MEAN HE IS ABOVE THE LAW, OR DOES IT ?

At July 7, 2008 at 5:33 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

In Painesville, being illegal makes you above the law. The city actually bends over backwards to help them out. They don't bend any which way for me, but then I'm only a taxpaying, lawabiding citizen.

Tony is one of Painesville's true treasures, and, anonymous, crapping on him will not change that. You are mad because he is one of the citizens holding the city accountable. Well, so am I. Take me on big boy! You seem to be one of the ones we are asking accountability from. Do your job of representing us until we can get you voted out.

At July 7, 2008 at 6:01 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

You think I'm on concil, man you are so far from the truth, I just feel no one is above the law, if he is one of Painesville true treasures does that mean he can do anything like run stop sings or go left of center ?
THE LAW IS THE LAW

You started in on Tony right from his mention at the picnic. You obviously have some grudge up your butt, and why not leave it there instead of crapping it over all of us.

Anonymous, yes the law is the law. Why are you not outraged by the laws broken when people illegally enter our country. Or the laws they continue to break while here. We are living this nightmare every day, and we all need to open our eyes to this and be outraged about something that matters.

I have no ideal what you are talking about, starting on Tony from the picnic ?
Term. brought up the cars with there loud music, I brought up the guy with his truck, someone else brought up his name, I don't even know this guy and don't care to, he is breaking the law with his loud music, just like anyone with there radio to loud, everyone should be outraged by anyone breaking the law, not just some of them.
THE LAW IS THE LAW,
UNLESS YOUR A NICE GUY THEN MAYBE NOT SO MUCH

The way the city could fine you for not having a permit is set the cardboard box the new one came in for trash pick-up, or put the old one out. I know
That house on St.Clair St. didnt have a permit when I went to work this morning. Low and behold it had one at 5:00 when I drove by on the way home. What a coincidence.

That location makes sense it central to Fairport, Grand River, Mentor Headlands, and Painesville. Plus lets not forget Lakeview Bluffs. Really it doesnt matter anymore, weve been lied to so much around here, my first husband could have taken lessons from this bunch.

Yeah how do you dress to take it out, I did not know Painesville had a code for that, you should see me take out the garbage, mind your own biz.
And stop judging people.

I drove around the square tonight in the pouring rain...... 5:30
pm. Looked like a Painesville Police convention at the gazebo.
Taking what looked to be a mexican guy away in handcuffs........ More
cops than civilians, nice event to have at the town gazebo.......

just wondering what the hub-bub was all about.

You will read about it in the next edition of the "Painesville Pride".
If you believe that I have some swamp land down by Windjammers to sell you. To late some fool already bought it.

Man we thought you wanted to get rid of all of the them, then you complain about how it looks.
Get real.

Just find it interesting it took place under the gazebo downtown as work was letting out. Also police cars driving up the sidewalks and blocking the east bound lanes makes wonder if the guy was an axe murderer or just illegal or what............

I live over there and just wondered.........

THANK YOU PAINESVILLE POLICE FOR PROTECTING US

Wow, did anyone see the Painesville Police pull that car over on the street, I wish they would not do that were we can see them.
Duh

YOUR and YOU'RE (YOU ARE) are two different words....

This is YOUR city.

YOU'RE a resident of Painesville.

Free World

At July 12, 2008 at 2:30 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Yes, it is a free world for some here in Painesville. Such as the illegals. Painesville city has given them a totally free world.

At July 12, 2008 at 6:26 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

No the Federal Gov. gave them a free pass, Painesville is doing what they can and they will do more as the Gov let's them.
Stop blaming Painesville for them.

At July 12, 2008 at 8:19 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

You do not know what you are talking about. I see it every day. The city does not enforce city ordinances on the illegals. That is a fact. One councilperson went on Fox news and said that Painesville embraces the illegal population. So until you know what you are talking about why don't you shut up.

At July 12, 2008 at 8:22 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

No I blame, Rita, Abby, Joe the 3 most gutless official in town. Aleast Abby sucked up and got citizen of the year for her treasonous act.

At July 13, 2008 at 5:41 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Bull, I see the city coming down on the illegals a lot, and until you are out there and around them all of the time, you have no ideal what the city is doing, it is easy for you to only see part of what is going on from your, "one sided window"

At July 13, 2008 at 6:55 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Yeah thats why theres so many more here today then in the past.
RITA is incompetent period. and way below her pay grade.
We have noone to blame but theBuffons who give her a license to screw things up.

At July 13, 2008 at 8:08 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

I am out there and around them all of the time and I know exactly what the city is doing -- only enough to give the outward appearance that they are cracking down and to do anything further "the federal government has our hands tied." There is a reason the illegals are flocking here in droves, and that is because word has been passed that Painesville administration will turn a blind eye. You get real!

At July 13, 2008 at 10:37 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Do you know they are flocking everywere.

Read todays paper God will protect them, ICE won't touch them.

And you put all the blame on Painesville.

At July 13, 2008 at 3:58 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Not all the blame on Painesville but it has to start locally. We can't just sit back on our butts because the feds are doing that. We can be proactive and save our town. Save this country one city at a time. Let's start with Painesville. Operation Wetback 2008. No sanctuary city, no sanctuary in St Mary's basement.

At July 14, 2008 at 7:23 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

in todays paper there is an article about the illegals.a couple from painesville went to florida on vacation and went to a flea market, and they saw a booth sat up and to their surprise it said (US ID CARDS FOR SALE HERE.) CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS ??? . THE COUPLE TOOK A PICTURE OF THE BOOTH. THEY WERE APPALLED THAT THIS WAS TAKEN PLACE IN OUR COUNTRY. WHY IS THIS BEING ALLOWED? WHY IS OUR GOVERMENT ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

At July 14, 2008 at 9:43 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Let's hope there is not a booth like that being set up at Party in the Park. The city probably wouldn't even charge them the regular space fee. Free of charge like everything else for the illegals of Painesville.
