O.K. I'LL TRY THIS AGAIN. WHAT MAKES PAINESVILLE A "GREAT" PLACE TO LIVE. PLEASE NO JOKES THIS TIME! PLUS I KNOW ALOT OF PEOPLE INVOLVED WITH DOING GOOD DEEDS IN TOWN. JUST BECAUSE THEY DON'T EXPECT A PAT ON THE BACK DOESN'T MEAN ITS NOT HAPPENING.
TO START IT OFF, WE HAVE A BEAUTIFUL VETERANS PARK.

The Depot Cafe
Joughin Hardware
Perkins
Great Bakeries
Close to Lake Erie
Close to Cleveland
Some REALLY NICE people!
D'Abate's Market & Beverage
Painesville Elevator (Feed mill).
Redi-Marts & Drug stores.
Our own Police & Fire Dept.
Our own Water, Elect.& Sewer Dept.
Great Court System.
New School Buildings.
Bike path.
Laketran Bus.
Lake Erie College.
Lot's of Churches.
A lot of nice people.
You should have asked for 3 good reasons for a stranger to move here. Bakeries and hardware stores are nice but no one will move here for reasons like that.
Very, very sad, there are a lot more then 3 good reasons to live here.

WHATS NEW IN PAINSVILLE? NOTHING.!! THATS WHY WE NEED A NEW (MANAGER) WHAT WE HAVE NOW IS NOT WORKING. BECAUSE THE CURRENT COUNCIL DOES NOT COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER MUCH LESS THE ,ANY OUTSIDE BUSINESS OR OWNERS THAT WOULD LIKE TO RELOCATE TO PAINESVILLE.COUNCIL GIVES THE CITY MGR. A FREE PASS ON EVERYTHING PRETAINING TO THE CITY, MOST TIMES WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF ALL 7 COUNCIL MEMBERS. BECAUSE SHE KNOWS SHE HAS 4 OF THEM WRAPPED AROUND HER FINGER.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've heard stories of how the City Manager acts around other government officals, developers, and very few people have positive comments about her. The only time I was present at a meeting she attended she walked pass all of us and sat down next to the developer of Liberty Green and totally ignored us.
