Alright I have been getting phone calls and E-mails about this councilman for over three weeks. Some people have speculated that he was instrumental in Madpotter closing her Blog. site. I guess you will have to ask her that question. Why all the curiousity about his dirt? Please do not speculate, ask and offer questions to him. Most people state he was given special privileges, and intimidation was used to get his way. I will let him use this forum to answer questions if he chooses.

In a perfect world, you could ask your councilman a question at council, here or in person and get answers. Painesville is far from perfect.
Mr. Hach has had every opportunity to answer our questions and he chooses not to. Mr. Hach, come on and man up and give us some answers and then we can move on to Gurley. Your choice.
Sorry! A little dirt He purchased over $60,000 worth of fill dirt, placed on land that was "wetland".Check the drainage now.

The only time Paul feels like talking is when he's had a few before a meeting . Like St. Patty's Day, then he wants to make stupid jokes. Yes Paul more than a couple of residents watched you that day.

THE AGENDA IS HOW HE MANAGED TO AQUIRE THAT PROPERTY. PUT A GAS WELL ON IT THEN DUMP AT LEAST$40,000 WORTH OF FILL DIRT ON IT.WHEN THE CITY MANAGER CLAIMED IT WAS WETLAND? WHAT DID THAT ALL DO TO THE NATURAL DRAINAGE ON THE NEIGHBORS PROPERTY AND WHY WAS THIS DONE.

If asking a questions makes you a troublemaker then we need a lot more troublemakers in Painesville. Because there are a lot of questions that need to be answered. Thank God for people like TERM who has the courage to bring these matters out in the open. Thank you TERM.

I DONT THINK ANYONE HAS A PROBLEM WHEN HAL SPEAKS.! HE IS CONCERNED ABOUT OUR CITY, HOWEVER, THE 4 COUNCIL MEMBERS , JOE HADA AND THE 3 TO THE LEFT AS YOU ENTER THE ROOM., HAS SELFISH AGENDAS., AND NO CONSIDERATION FOR THE RESIDENTS OF THE CITY,COME TO THE MEETINGS AND YOU WILL SEE FOR YOURSELF,

I heard a rumor Huntington School will be torn down in July by Mr. Hach. Is this true?
Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
1. The mound is not in any wetlands. (I will give link to maps as soon as I get maps down loaded.)
2. The mound was constructed to obscure the views and sounds of the future interchange from our backyard. I started the mound before I was on council. We presented the case for the mound to the Planning Commission in order to get a conditional use permit which was then approved by council.
3. We have almost 10 acres. The mound sits in the middle of it and drains to our own property. Most of our property is bordered by Heisley-Hopkins Co (Osborne).
4. We are struggling with landscaping the mound because the deer have eaten almost everything we've planted on it (about 35 oak saplings, 10 pines, & 5 maples)
5. The gas well sits on our property but is owned by Great Plains Exploration (Osborne).
6. My dad's company has not done any work for the city since I have been on council - except during the flood emergency when we assisted residents getting out of their flooded homes.
7. The Painesville school system is completely separate from Painesville City and Council. I hope we can get some of the demo school jobs! The bidding is public. The bid process has not started yet for the old Painesville schools.
8. I'm in favor of Hal's legislation. The residents should have an opportunity to speak more about this and I will vote for this legislation after the 3rd reading.
