"EXPRESS YOURSELF" charles wright

You don't need help from nobody  else
All you got to do now
Express Yourself

In a past Post I asked if anyone could explain the rational about being against Policy 413 sorry, no comer's. Many have shown support for the policy. I even started a Post against 413 but truthfully it made little sense to me. So this one commenter expressed better than I could the thoughts this subject.

The views expressed are those of the writer

This is an open forum so anyone opposed to 413 will be given the same consideration.

So lets see... Policy 413, which Chief Anthony Powalie has imitated, lays out guidelines for investigating  and enforcing immigration laws. It says that Painesville police will notify I.C.E. when a suspected illegal immigrant is affiliated with any gang or criminal organization and/or receives any drug or violence charges. So now comes here comes Don Denny, owner of Enterprise Title Agency, Sister Dolores Milula and others against it. Really? Against getting illegal criminals out of our country and out of our city? Away from me, my children and grandchildren? Away from our friends, relatives, acquaintances and citizens of our city and country whom they may hurt? REALLY? And now we have a stupid letter from the A.C.L.U. threatening our city and our city and our police chief. Really? Are you kidding me? And we have people from other cities, who will not be living alongside these criminals come into our city to try to tell us not to do this. Really? Are you kidding me? The ridiculousness of these people, and the danger they represent to our city and to our country is almost beyond belief to me. Asinine people making asinine demands. Use your brains people, and stop jeopardizing my country.

It would also appear to me, based on Don Denny's objection that most of the people buying houses in this city must be illegal, and thereby supporting Mr. Denny's title agency, must be illegal. Great. That's just great. That has so many implications, I won't even try to go into here. And if the Catholics (I, too, am Catholic, but use the brain God gave me) have objections to us getting criminals away from our families based on Bible verses, then I say quit using God to allow people to break our laws. God surely knows, more than anyone else (remember The Ten Commandments?), that there are rules to follow, and wants us to follow them. Using Him to attempt to keep dangerous, evil people-- people who do not even belong in this country--among us, is absolutely shocking to me. And I do have my suggestions as to where Elizabeth Bonham can put all her future ridiculous, dangerous letters from the A.C.L.U., but since I mentioned that I am Catholic, I won't disgrace the church by saying where that is. Bonham will just have to use her imagination. That would be the same imagination that she used to write that ridiculous, dangerous letter to our police chief.

Is this something PPD Chief initiated because under normal circumstances the sheriff department was the one contacting ICE. Now, I heard Sheriff Dan got decided to get out of that business and left each municipality to deal with the illegal-criminals. Is anyone privy to this info? If in fact this is true, thank PPC Chief for being pro-active. What about other municipalities such as Madison, Perry, etc or any others that have their own police department and don't rely on the Sheriff?

10:28 Well what does Sheriff Dunlap do with illegal immigrants in his jurisdiction Say Painesville Township? But you do raise an interesting question is this the chiefs policy or the city manager/safety director? Same person Monica Irelan.

Don't police officers take an oath to uphold the laws of Painesville, The State of Ohio, and The United States? According to these protesters, they would want the police to violate their oath. This is nuts to me.

I'm opposed! We don't show papers in America

My best guess is not much unless it may be in the township or Concord, somewhere without a police department. Again it's a guess. My concern was if so and why is the sheriff no longer doing what they used to do. Lack of manpower? Ok, then that makes sense. Leave the criminal pick up to each jurisdiction then. It matters not who implemented this policy, either way I am all for it. My question was what brought this about? The next best thing would be to bring an ICE office into the empty Chase bank and clean house here.

2:08 Truth be told someone has to pay for keeping a person in jail, either a municipality, or county commissioners. No one wants to pay while some federal agency decides if they want to come and get an individual maybe this is a reason?
12:40 Don't be silly, we always show identification even in a traffic simple traffic stop. What do you suggest a police officer should do if he is called to a scene of an accident and one person doesn't speak English and has no form of identification? Just let him go? If that's the case then every American shouldn't carry I.D. and speak gibberish.
12:38 You need to explain that one.

First, exactly wha are you "opposed" to? That is not clear to me.

Next, have you ever been stop by a police officer?
Did you produce an ID?
If you did show an ID, you just proved your self wrong.
If you did not produce an ID, how did that go for you?

I don't have "papers" because I carry a piece of plastic, issued by the State, that shows who I am. A police officer can easily look at the picture, look at my face, and knows immediately who I am, where I live, and whether I have a record or warrants on me. Can the same be said for our "visitors"?

You don;t know how many times I am so tempted to turn right on red when posted not to, or skip a stop sign if no one is around. The if by chance I did get caught I'd start talking gibberish and plan to go free. That's pretty much what happened with Ramos who went on to rape and murder a woman wasn't it. No rules for the illegals, then no rules for us law abiding citizens.

Now we have a council meeting on June 5, 2017, where people came and called Painesville Police Policy 413 disrespectful and discriminatory and said it makes them feel offended. Madelyn Dickinson, who represents Friends of HOLA (an organization that supports illegal immigrants) agreed. Maggie Barth, who organized the group who spoke at the council meeting, says she thinks Policy 413 is hateful and unconstitutional. I say what a bunch of hogwash. If you are all so offended, then GO HOME. You know...that country that you are actually a citizen of. That is a good thing to do so that you can quit feeling disrespected and discriminated against. And Maggie Barth thinks it's hateful and unconstitutional? What is hateful is coming into this country unlawfully and stealing from my family, and the schools of my children, and my country. And are you KIDDING me...UNCONSTITUTIONAL??? The only thing going on that is unconstitutional is people coming into our country illegally and breaking the laws of our constitution!!!

Here's just one tiny, little tidbit for you all. Our government has paid out more than $35 BILLION over the past ten years to illegal immigrants in lump-sum payments, disguised as a "tax credit." This credit is called the "Additional Child Tax Credit," but in reality it's not really a credit at all. It pays illegal immigrants to get up to $1,000 for each child they claim, including children who are not theirs and who don't live in the United States, and has been referred to as "a multi-billion-dollar fraud scheme." (President Trump will stop this in his 2018 budget if he gets his way.)

You are here illegally; you are breaking our constitution, and you are stealing from us, but that does not stop you from attending our council meetings and demanding that our laws not be enforced. It's a shocking scenario, and one that has gone on long enough. I, for one, am ready for each and every one of you to get out of here and go home. Just turn around and go back the way you came and, therefore, you can take your dignity with you, since you are so very offended by America, her citizens and her laws. UNCONSTITUTIONAL?! Did she really have the nerve to say that?

Ms. Barth - former teacher at Painesville schools. Liberal for sure. SI know some of the folks at that meeting are known for wearing the rainbow ribbons, Ms Barth too. I think that plays into all this illegal-liberal crock too.

9:00 Here's the thing? I care not if Ms. Barth is a Liberal or Conservative, I care not what ribbon she decides to wear rainbow or otherwise. ONLY is she a legal registered voter in the City of Painesville. To sit on this task force.

Task Force? She isnt on it, she Does NOT live in this city, she spewed her opinion at council meetings and walked away. Leaving us residents in the illegal-Mexican-drug-gang slum town. Where we cant get a fair-market price to sell our homes and get out. Mr Deleone has the right idea.

4:18 So she just dropped in to express herself? Anything accomplished?
Interesting how important we are to people who don't reside in town?
