"UNDERSTANDING" bob seger

It seems like only yesterday
I didn't have a clue

It has been reported by the Painesville Board of Education that a male 20-30 years old with blonde hair driving a red car has followed and approached a Heritage Middle School girl.  This morning he approached her.  Rest assured Painesville Police is well aware of the situation and will be monitoring this.

In other news;

Another director left over from the McMahon regime will no longer be employed by the City of Painesville. By George,  Monica seems to have started early cleaning house.

Now back to understanding stuff.

Remember when I mentioned I had received a terse reply from a councilman over question I
asked about police vehicles? Also at the last council meeting the Ordinances that questioned the part-time police and switchboard employees drew  a strange silence ( can be viewed on the council meeting tape) No one wanted or knew how to discuss it? It all seemed so awkward at the time? It truly  was never explained only that we will save money.

Well a reader sent me what this all meant. I have no idea why it wasn't explained to council as well as us.

SECTION 167.06
COMPENSATION
DISTRIBUTIONOF FUNDS-
SPECIAL POLICE
OFFICER/SWITCHBOARD
OPERATOR 20% of pay from general fund, 15% from water fund, 15% from sewer fund and
50% from electric fund?
The CM only receives 35% of her salary from the electric division. How in the world does a police officer earn 50% from electric?

Seems another item to go into the PCA?

I guess it would be interesting to hear the administration's explanation for all this? And why they didn't explain it when the Ordinance was past?

I guess I would wonder why ANY salaries are paid out of anything except the General Fund??
Another reason for high electric bills?
The more we learn, the most confusing it is.
Back to my original proposal, get rid of the electric plant.
The electric department is apparently a shell game with our money.

You need to get your facts straight and report them properly. Whatever you are implying about cleaning house is very wrong. AND NO I will not clarify. Your blog your incorrect reporting, your responsibility. Your boy Carson took taxpayers money and ran, so now you are out to get everyone. Same as Trump winning not Clinton. Get over it and move on.

8:16 Time will tell. See in today's world no one knows if I resigned, got fired, quit or retired? Everybody resigns one way or another. What an unusual was to lose? Having garnered 2,800,000 more votes than the guy that supposedly won. People ain't gettin' over it!

8:16,

No, we won't get over it, especially not because you say so. Like Trump, you're not a king or dictator.

As for accusing Term of being "out to get everyone", such paranoia is par for the course among the Faux News-watching set. If you've got proof that he's wrong, provide it. Just like Trump and his lap dogs, though, it's easier to spout off a bunch of accusations without factual (real ones, not "alternative") evidence, and brag about how correct you are, when you're actually so far from the truth, the Hubble Telescope would need to be cranked up to 11 for you to see it.

Trump won, but he lost the popular vote. Nothing's going to change that, not even Trump's sycophants in Congress.

Time will tell? It's none of your business or anyone else's. Why and whether someone quits, resigns or gets fired doesn't belong here unless there are facts to back and prove what goes on. How would you like your dirty laundry aired here? Thinking the laundry-mat scandal on Chestnut St. 40plus years ago.

6:40 It is our business if you don't want it to be quit taking a paycheck that's what makes it our business! The scandal up tell us all about that penny-anny card game that seems to grow in stature every time you bring it up. Tell us what you know ? It was such a big-time crime. And didn't cost the citizens a dime.

Wonder what 6:40 smokes? It is our business we are footing the bill for all of it the screw-up the bad decisions all of it. I guess he just wants us to send the money and shutup.

1:10 FIRST I'm not smoking anything, drinking or doing drugs. Now, what are you talking about? The person quit a job. What money is it costing us? Quitting doesn't even receive unemployment benefits. BUT, 12:51 your grammar is hideous as your first sentence makes no sense at all. Talk about a run-around. THEN, your comment about in today's world we don't know whether one is fired, quit, etc. Same goes for your boy Carson. You really think he decided to quit? Did you find out the real truth and tell us? No matter how hard you try, somethings go to the grave.

Of course you won't get over Trump, because you can't. Never have I seen such insubordination, immature and poor losers before, during and after an election. You all didn't get who you wanted so that gives people a right to riot, set fires and attack those that support Trump. Again, get over it, suck it up for the next 4 years and move on. You ain't gonna change who is in office now. If so, Obama would have been gone. Deal with it like an adult.

I am sure that Term will devote some space to something that I feel is very important.
I saw in the paper that Painesville lost Tony Torre a couple of days ago.
This is sad on many levels.
First, you never want to lose people you respect because they speak their mind.
Two, Painesville will be poorer for his passing. Agree with him or not, Tony always wanted what he felt was best for the City.
RIP Tony.

12:39,

Oh, so we can't protest, or voice our disapproval with Trump? I know he wants to change a lot of things within the federal government, but the last time I checked, the First Amendment still exists. If you don't like the protests, calling our representatives in Congress, and standing up to Trump supporters, too bad! It's the same as when those of us who voted for President Obama had to put up with eight years' worth of racist comments, e-mails, and Facebook postings from many of those who didn't, the Tea Party nonsense, and co-existing with a large segment of the population who were anti-science, anti-equal rights, and anti-immigration. We put up with it because those opponents had a First Amendment-provided right to their opinions; well, we do, too. Again, no, we're not going to get over it, and we don't have to "suck it up" - this isn't some moronic football game. And, because our speaking out annoys you and your kind so much, I am going to protest that much more, and motivate others to do the same. There should be consequences for your blind loyalty to a sexual-assaulting, con artist president, so being annoyed by us is only right and just. Finally, if I want a definition of "adult", I'll read a dictionary. Being a Trump supporter, you've already proven that your credibility is to be seriously questioned.
