Stay hungry my friends. Those large grocery stores Heinen's, Giant Eagle, ALDI's Shop-an-Drop just ain't coming back to the Ville' Take my word for it the demographics don't work. So is my goal to upset you? No I found an alternative very close by.

I really belive this type store could become an great addition to our community. How about Economic Development how about looking into it.
To get Painesville moving we need to take small smart steps. Grandiose Streetscapes fill newspapers but in the end do little to improve the lives of people living in Painesville.
Or, we can all hope and pray Someday will never be the same.
Am I the only one who views the new Trump-Pence logo as well, having a subliminal message? A T going through a P? Or is that telegraphing what these two have in store for the American people.
Drove by GOP Headquarters at the coal yard three days before the convention the place looks deserted? Wonder if their going?

You're right; you're not the only one having a laugh about the Trump-Pence logo. It's very easy to find jokes about it on the Internet, as well as it being used in various, uh, interesting forms of animation. Let's face it: the "T" is doing to the "P" what Trump will do to America!
Sorry, Wickliffe is not close it's at the opposite end of the county and I'd have numerous places to stop at before using my fuel at 2.40 a gallon. Ever been to Sun Plumb in WIlloughby? Its along the same for produce, deli and sweets.

8:42 Seems like everything they do is inept? If anyone but Trump was running the Republican would be 23% ahead of Clinton. Thinking now if anybody but Clinton was running they would be 23% ahead of Trump. It's a race to the bottom.
What we need is use of the acquired land we have off of Route 2. Why cant we get a Super Target or Meijer or a major grocer/department store there. I heard Mentor is a major stumbling block by claiming there is too much traffic on Diamond Centre. Well, weren't they supposed to be building a Menards there? Are they the only ones that can determine traffic flow? Painesville needs to get off their duff and get some great, new businesses down there, soon.
Painesville has been taking small, baby steps for too many years. Then too many times we have gone backwards making it too hard and too long to move forward. We need some real movers and shakers to bring fresh business and breathe new life in this town that's been on a downward spiral for way too long. We need a police chief, department and leaders who really care about cleaning out the problem rif-raf, gangs and drugs that has come from Cleveland, Detroit and Mexico.

Look I have no proof but something must be wrong They do right up to the Painesville line and nothing. Menards with the area in question? First that was to be where the PCLS campus was to be. That was also offered to Lake Health, nothing doing? Walmart wanted to build a Super Walmart changed their mind. Menard's excuse was the current national political climate? The only ones that could give you an honest appraisal of that area is the Army Corp. of Engineers and they ain't talking.

Movers & Shakers would be the economic development people along with city manager and council. I said we need Movers and Shakers but the mentioned people in charge seem to be very complacent, fat and happy by keeping their jobs with not much success in that department.

Mar-Bal? A factory? Like thats gonna help with the downtown district. Will they be hiring illegals like a lot of other factories do? If so, heaven help us all living here.
