"LOOKIN' OUT FOR NUMBER ONE" cheap trick

Painesville City Local Schools Treasurer's Comparison of Hanlon's 2011-2016 Contract vs.
Modified Contract.

Now here's what Mr. Grippi received. You figure it out.

My first question is why are his vacation and severance pay the same amount?
Dr. Hanlon didn't retire so how is that he is receiving a Retirement Bonus. Is this what Chardon's BOE will be a saving for them?

I'm starting to understand Dr. Hanlons 50% policy. 50% work 100% pay.

It appears the Dr. got us for$213,000 for working from Jan/Jul not bad for the time he spent. This modified contract along with his Chardon contract should be sent to Columbus to make sure it's legal.
You don't sign an agreement for working 20 days a month and none of the parties hold themselves to that agreement.
Someone should mention to Chardon that we passed the levy because he was leaving.

when you're eligible to retire and "retire" you may go work another job and collect your pension. In Ohio you can actually return to your job..don't agree but that's the law.

sick day and vacation day payout is also standard.

3:16 And don't expect it to change anytime in the near future.
Although YOUR retirement age will increase from 65 to whatever.
100 days vacation after less than 20 years? A lot of stress?

$15,780.00 per year in health care?
Contribute 100% all his retirement?
Not enough set up an extra 3%?
plus all the other extra bennies.

Forget the cops, and firemen look where the real money is going.
It is for the Kids though.
Kids that have been failed by this system.

Chardon has a School Board Meeting
August 26, 2013 6:30pm at 428 North St. Wonder if those taxpayers are aware of all this?

"Dr. Hanlon didn't retire so how is that he is receiving a Retirement Bonus." I thought he did retire from PCLS. Isn't that what was reported several times in the paper. Will you be attending the Chardon meeting with flyers to show the good people of Chardon?

7:34 So he retired from PCLS in July. Started in August. Sorry I don't get it.
If he didn't retire from Painesville how do you call that $38,000+ a savings?

I was quoting your post that stated he didn't retire, yet it was a plain as the nose on your face in the NH headline that reported he was retiring. Can't anyone do something about this? We are being robbed.

Maybeeee he would be so kind to donate some back to help the buildings purchase things that are needed, broken and in need of repair or replaced. Just a thought. Imagine how that money could have been spent.

While talking to a few school parents, I was told of jobs within the school that make no sense. Now I know better than to ask the board after Mr Hanlons deal. So I'd like to throw this out here and see what other residents know or how they feel. One job was a event coordinator at Heritage, the other an athletic event coordinator. These jobs sound like a party planner. Sounds like they get things set up? Doesn't the school have an athletic director along with the coaches to take care of this? Lets hire and spend more then cut the education help.

7:31 I don't understand? Look I hope this is a joke, event coordinator? Really. Well we gave them the money to do it,right? I have to wonder how that position will help the education of a Painesville student?
