Wonder if and what the BOE will do with Mr. Grippi's information?

Now , Please don't tell people at a public meeting that you are going to retire in July, to spend more time with your family. All the while seeking the position of superintendent for Chardon Schools.
Also everyone must pay attention to this it has advantages  for Dr. Hanlon to retire from PCLS due to this retirement income. Sorry, that in my eye's is no reason for this Modified Contract.
They will tell you it saves them money? But it will also be very convenient for Dr. Hanlon to retire from PCLS collect benefits and still receives a salary from Chardon. What might be the outcome if he decides to retire in December from Chardon? As a resident of Painesville I believe Dr. Hanlon has been compensated from us. I guess it's never enough?

The new member on the BOE is  A. ROSEMAN sorry that's all I know and that came off of the name plate placed in front of here. Best wishes to you A. ROSEMAN.

Mr. Tackett told us that the State of Ohio will increase state spending on PCLS of 6.25% for 2014
                                                                                                                     and 10.50% for 2015.

A Joshua Englehart will be the new Assistant Superintendent this coming school year.

I have been told our new superintendent will start August 1,2013. A last night meeting no Superintendent or Assistant was in attendance? ( Dr. Hanlon you missed an opportunity for serving a day)

I have been informed that the new city manager as well as new superintendent will be at the Fire Station for a meet and greet during Party In The Park weekend. When and if I get details I will post them.

Nothing in N/H yet? probably waiting on Chris Hanahan for a press release?

No mention of a meet and greet at the fire station for the new superintendent. Better get your facts straight Term. The Meet and Greet is R.S.V.P. ONLY!
You must of missed the invitation to bad.

Wow!!!

I could only wish that I was compensated like this for failing miserably at my job.

I raised the issue of "spending time with my family" several months ago. With the "work" schedule he has planned, he will never be at home.

The good news is that his family will be set for life courtesy of the Painesville City School Board.

I will NEVER vote for another school issue, regardless of "need", as long as I live in this City. If this is the best the Board can do for the "children", they don't need any more money from me.

Poor, poor Mr. Shepard.
He's about to stumble into a hornets nest. He's our new Superintendent, but it's obvious the he was not the Boards first choice or the Community's popular choice. He's our "Plan B" [or perhaps our Plan C,D....]. On top of that, the Board has asked the good Dr. Hanlon to stick around and keep an eye on things. They are going to pay the outgoing Super more than the new Super for the last 6 months of 2013. That's not much of a vote of confidence for the new guy! Why would the BOE value the opinion of someone who doesn't want to be here??? I thought only Bankers and Wall Street Fatcat received 'Golden Parachutes' when they left their jobs, now we can add 'Doc Handout' to the list of hose receiving sweetheart deals at the taxpayers expense!
Poor, poor Mr Shepard.
President Costell and the Board has tried to secretly scatter the flock, so to speak. Good luck trying to unify the Administration, Community, Staff and Students. Lets say a prayer for the good Shepard, He'll need it and Thank you Ross Grippi for blowing the whistle.

5:33 R.S.V.P. yes your right someone showed me a postcard earlier. Soon we will have RSVP's for council meetings.
Look your introducing a public figure on public property. Will they have you arrested if you show up without your postcard?
Who will admit to being the brains behind this? Don't hold your breath to find out.
I understand movers & shakers invited. But people who don't even live in Painesville?
Hope you have as much fun as those kids did at the birthday party held at the fire station last week?
Me I will happily miss this event.
5:38 I agree and the BOE should be held responsible.
8:04 Yes Mr. Shepard will soon be thrown in the mix. I wonder what his bad karma was? To deserve this fate?

Check out news story into days News-Herald. Not ONE word of Dr. Hanlons modified contract? Other peoples contract's but not his. Wonder why things seem to get worse? For the most part no one knows what's going on. Get job by the reporter she was in the room.

I urge residents to post a comment on the NH site under the article comment line. The schools are aware of the article and reading.

Good idea I do believe the reporter wanted to report Mr. Grippi's letter and was probably nixed by an editor?
Freedom of the Press? Freedom to report a story...or Freedom not to report a story.
Presently advertising is what runs the print press.

Pleasantly surprised the reporter is responding to comments! She has posted she is checking facts and figures........ We will see what grade the NH gets on this test.

I think the NH reporter forgot to get back to the community on this. Don't understand why it would take so long to get what she needs. Grippi got it from somewhere, why not ask him where to find it? Ever try to do a document request at the board? I did once and was so intimidated I had to drop it as I was not prepared to do legal battle. I know when asked, they must provide or else they could be fined, but it was so humiliating I didn't want to go back for seconds.

Mr. Grippi got it from Chardon BOE. I explained that to the reporter.
They got the response from you they wanted.

Whats up with these schools? Now an opening for a business office? Is this another position? If not, is this another person jumping ship? Or being re-located within? Whats going on?

I believe our present business manager will be following Dr. Hanlon to Chardon? Sounds more like jumping ship into a sinking ship.

Been told our New superintendent presently at in the building at BOE. At least he's ready to go, I take that as a good sign if he is there.
We will be blessed? With a superintendent and '2' assistants for the rest of this year. That according to the N/H reporter.

Mr Rosebery is leaving or gone? He is going to Chardon? So they are looking for a replacement of a vacant position not putting him elsewhere and hiring in addition to?
