"TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON"

Anybody out there have an idea when,or where the Urgent Care center for Painesville is? Wasn't it promised by now? Its almost five months since the hospital moved.
Hows Lakeview Bluffs coming along? Haven't read any new fluff stories lately?
Did they run out of B.,S., money or both?

Council Meeting Monday 04/19/10
Lori DiNallo's resolution on property inspections will be address along with some of her concerns. Council must be very careful of the new wording in the resolution. such as "administrative search warrants"

Heisley Park Phase 12 is ready to be built. The city and the developer seem to believe that all water concerns in that area have been satisfied and corrected. So basements can again be offered in Phase 12. I would like to see a written guarantee on basement loses along with more then one sump pump replacement a year paid by either the developer or city. Lets put all this professional expertise to the test before the fact? This will give Councilman Hach an opportunity to show his "KAHUNAS" as he was against anymore basements in that area.

What's going on at Millstone? Newspaper article this week sorta blamed Mr. Gibbs.
Along with the comments made on the section at www.news-herald story. Mr. Gibbs is the anti-Christ plus many other choice comments. Not claiming to be an expert on this 'eccentric" man, but I'm willing to bet he thrives on all these negative comments. Who ever thought up the old adage "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." Must have known Bob Gibbs. There must be more to the story? Jesus himself couldn't have held this up four years without just cause.
Residents be prepared for a $4000 settlement per unit. Yes be prepared to be thrown under the bus again.

I think all of us have been bluffed? What is an administrative search warrant anyway?

I would like to know who will be the authority that grants permission for such a warrant...and what kind of 'evidence' will be deemed sufficient. Will an anonymous call from a disgruntled neighbor with an axe to grind be enough or will the standard be a little higher? I read the proposed changes in wording and it sounds like semantics to me....kind of like lets pacify the new kid on the block (Councilwoman Dinallo) and continue business as usual...with no explanation as to how it will actually be implemented. The right to enjoy private property unmolested is a fundemental one and I would suggest that city council tread lightly here...

Wonder how broad this warrant will be will it include Terms computer?

Bob Gibbs is the anti-christ and everyone in town knows it. I can only hope I make him esstatic!

Its an urgent care center, no one said there was any urgency to build it and make it a usefull part of Painesville. Lake Health got our outstanding city manager to carry the water to destroy Lake East. They are now in no hurry to fill their promise. Rita don't forget to run the electricity into the hospital administration building that isn't apart of the JEDD. How dumb are you really?

Basements in a swamp? How long before these basements collapse? Will the city be held responsible?
What greed will bring to this project. The city manager and council don't have a clue to say to say "NO"

I don't believe Mr.Gibbs is the antichrist, just anti-everything. His "affiliation" with John Murphy cost John the last election and will cost candidate Murphy his attempt to replace Bob Fountain. Please John, show some "KAHUNAS" and publically put some distance between you and that greedy nut case Bob Gibbs!

Ole Joey Gibbs is no different than the Osbornes of Mentor, other than they dress better. They think they can dry up rivers and kill all the fish,Just because they have money.I beleive what goes around comes around, and eventually it will come around to him.Unfortuantly he will probably try to take every man woman and child around him down with him.

Joey Gibbs? do you mean Bob?
He didn't dry up Grand River. Mother nature showed him, and others what happens when you build next to her shores.

Look out Term, I heard today that NASA said the moon was electrified?
How long before Joey, and Rita get talked into a moon expedition by Amp-Ohio to get power for all the Thanksgiving dinners they seem to worry about?
Oh, to councilman Flock the word Invoice means;bill, itemizied bill, account, bill of lading, statement manifest. In otherwords the money Painesville owes. Its just a matter of when!

Funny how that community in Virginia could get an answer as to how much they were on the hook to AMP Ohio for but we can't. Do they have a better local government; more responsive and open? I cannot fathom why the CM won't answer that question...its not like she has to run for re-election.

To 6:07: I think she's afraid people will insist she be let go, or it creates enough of a fury that the rest of council will be let go and then there will be nobody to protect her from being fired. Remember her "I remember that an incident happened but I just can't remember what it was" stance when she helped them (Hada, Fountain, Abby, Hach) keep Murphy out of office by their lies one of the times they sabotaged his election? (If that quote isn't exactly accurate, it is close.) They have kept Murphy out of office twice now with their lies, and she helped at least one of the times.

If you ignored everything else that woman has done since she has been in office, the fact that we cannot get accurate information on what we owe AMP would be grounds enough to let her go.

We have got to get rid of her and her posse (Hada, Hach, Gurley, Fountain). Slippery, slimy people.

And I don't think there is any chance of any "no" votes from from the two new councilpeople. They ask a few questions, then vote yes. Same difference.

I'm sure that holding office is a lot more difficult than running for one...there has to be a learning curve that wasn't expected. Having said that, if you are going to be an elected official then do what you said you would do....locals can forgive a few rookie mistakes. And if it isn't what you expected and you are only going to be a one-hit wonder then make your time worth-while and rattle a few cages. And if there is (by any stretch of the imagination) a really compelling reason for all the unanimous votes then please clue in the voters that care and pay the bills.

Hi. Is there any way that I can find out what their resolution to the water problem at Heisley Park was? I am currently in Upstate NY and just had a home built by Ryan homes. We currently have two sump pumps that pump water out every 15 secs. Their "resolution" for us is bigger sump pumps and a generator. Which obviously doesn't solve our water issue. I know that this is an old post, but hoping you might have information that might help our situation. Thank you. - Ann

Ann, without knowing that much about the situation the contractor has put in 'French drains' as well as design changes I will find the minutes to the planning meeting and if I do I will post them here. So some problems still exist and some sump pumps run every 15 seconds and some have stopped? Someone told me problems were caused by the storm sewers?

Interesting that you mentioned storm sewers. A storm sewer runs on one side of our house and a storm drain runs on the other side of our house. I wonder if this set up is causing a perched water table of some sort. I appreciate your response. THANK YOU!
