Well JT. Maddog, and especially you Dave, Just because a woman gets a little assertive Dave here thinks I nead a dose of Big Bob. Now its starting to make sense about the silence coming out of city hall. Maybe the 3 stooges work there and see nothing wrong with the daily lovefest going on there. They might just approve of it. Sorry Dave my husband of over 15 years takes care of all my needs even without Chopin and a secret soup. Big Bob has embarrassed himself, his profession, his employer the City of Painesville, and yes all his colleagues at city hall.
Almost 800 hits on a web.site brings the response " I can only wonder what else is going on down there?" Thats the question that many of my friends and neighbors have. When the silence is a sign of defiance from the people in power we have bigger problems than what first appears on the surface.
Mr. Hada no you may not put a sign in our yard this year, nor will my family be in attendance at the ELK Club this year, it appears you are willing to go along with this charade. To the other 6 councilman do your damn job!
At least one of you are in a position of a little power and should demand an investigation. Yes Maddog you brought up scruples, where are yours? Maybe its not to late to grow some.

I keep waiting during election years for people in this city to get a clue.
Everyone complains about the way things are run and yet other than Hal who is new we vote the same council people in year after year. If things are this bad how does Hada at what 28 years?, Abby 16years?, Fountain 8-12 years?, Becks 12 years?, Hach 8 years?, Mr. North End 12 years, how do they explain the problems?, point to each other and claim non-cooperation.
When will we finally elect a professional business type person that understands leadership and how to work with others.
We wonder where our problems come from?
1. Hada, retired school teacher and wrestling coach
2. Hach, works for his dady's company
3. Fountain, used to work for a non-profit housing assistance company, not sure what he is doing now.
4. DelaMotte, County worker
5. Werner, Bus driver and piano tuner
6. Becks, hmm, professional student, really not sure what she does.
7. Flock, it doesn't matter, he figured out screw the rest of the city as long as the North end likes him he gets re-elected.
What on this list gives us confidence they are qualified to make decisions on, $80 million budget, Employees that we rely on, Long term planning that will bring this city back, hard decisions that the city needs but are unpopular, regulations that protect our rights and freedoms?
Now, these are all good people, with their hearts in the right place but are they really qualified to run this city? My opinion is after all those years they have proved we need some experienced private sector business people in there making decisions. (not CEO's, just in the trenches, making it work type managers)
It is never going to change until the people of Painesville figure out they need to quit electing on the "good ole boy" standard and start looking at "who can get the job done?".
karen you are never happy about anything. you accuse me of approving of something that i don't. you don't stick to the subjects of the blog and you are pretty much rude from what i have seen on your writings on jt's blog. everything from you is negative. does the sun ever shine in your yard?
if you knew me you would not ask where my scruples are. they are on the line every day. i dont approve of cheating. you wont see me being friends, but i will have to be professional.
if you would also note this stuff is being written by an ex-wife, and being taken as gospel.

Well, a baseless attack when I choose to stay out of the rumor mill. I feel bad that you needed to resort to name calling and will not stoop to your level. All I have ever done was to promote positive change and some still feel the need to be rude and offensive. I feel sorry for you, honestly. JT

No investigation? Ask the agency who had jurisdiction of the incident, and make sure you ask the right people, not the obvious.
alphagirl, welcome to this site, I was wondering when you would find us. Please feel free to post facts concerning Painesville, First off the ladys suicide was investigated by Lake Metro Park Rangers { sworn Deputy Sheriffs] because she was found on Lake Metro Park property.

JT. I think you were painted with a broad brush by Karen, you and maddog are known as an honorable people that said, I would think a person like you would want a statement from city hall to find out if its from a rumor mill,
What are statements anyway, fact? NO. They are just words. All of these rumors have not been looked at very closely but I would like to point something out to everyone here. After reading the "emails" that were copy and pasted into the blog, did anyone else notice all of the problems with them?
In one of them in the date section it mentions the day Friday twice ina row. Do you think a computer would make that mistake? NOPE, but I bet the person RE-WRITING the words would have.
I also noted that in alphagirls posts here, she uses the tell tale(...)in her posts as well as he ones that are SUPPOSED to be from Baetzel. It seems to be a slip of habit unless that person is the same person that wrote those emails as well. And if that be the case, if she did write them, did she fabricate them or write them verbatim.
I do not doubt that alphagirl has some past that she regrets with him, but I look at the fact and don't participate in the rumors. Come at me with cold hard fact and we will talk, that is what I have preached since the day I started here. JT
JT, I showed a systems admin friend alphagirl's blog and he felt the "emails" could very easily be faked.
If they are real how did alphagirl get them, is what I want to know.

Indeed, alphagirl, HOW DID YOU GET THESE ALLEGED EMAILS? Hmmm? If you got them legally somehow, then you shouldn't be afraid to say. If you somehow got them illegally, then my question to you is - what's more likely to be prosecuted - some hanky panky on company time, or unauthorized access to a government entity's computer system? Hmmm? Any guesses, kids?
All of this Bob Baetzel and Lynn White love affair has drawn so much attention as of late. Could we all be wasting our energy caught up in another attempt to mitigate the intense boredom of our lives? Bob's alleged problems sure make mine feel small.
I think all of these accusations are entertaining but unsubstantiated until Alphagirl tells how she obtained the mails. Perhaps she broke some laws herself?
