Under her time at her present job I see :

"• Serve on the Board of Directors of American Municipal Power".

This is not exactly what we need in this City. We have had nothing positive come from them. We do NOT need an AMP-Ohio cheerleader. I hope Council sees this.

Lots of 1 to 2 year positions? Why on the move so much? Shades of Carson?

AMP OHIO. Maybe the 2 Million will now be found!

Sitting on the board of AMP, well maybe she will have an idea of how to break the contract. If this city has once again hitched our wagon to a champion of the coal industry we are screwed again! Council I hope you have answers on this question.

Takes about a year to figure out a newbie is bad news.
Another year to get rid of them.
Painesville, another stepping stone towards their level of incompetence? (Peter principal) Watch out, council.

Is she related to Kathy Ireland?

7:28 It was never lost. We know who's pocket it was in the whole time.
9:43 Sitting on the AMP Board caused me to stop and think?
6:49 She just got here and already to let her go?

Welcome new City Manager! I know this is a little off-topic, but "One Potato, Two Potato" is being screened at an independent cinema in New York this week. I've linked a review of it in the Village Voice, in which the reviewer refers to the "too-perfectly-named town of Painesville, Ohio." lol. Maybe you could forward this to Ms. Ireland, and at least point out Painesville's most famous role on the big screen--

12:06 I believe she's going to need a lot more than a couple of potato's. I wonder if she knows what she got herself into? I will agree with the perfectly named part. Wish her well.

Pee'ville is what I always heard from my cousins. Promote the history of Painesville. Make the real reason its named Painesville more well known. Use those electric box murals for history lessons instead of 56/57 Chevy's. Have we ever had a founders day? Was it ever covered in the media.

Hey, that's what management does in the face of problems. Paint it in the best possible colors.

5:19 Many like 55-57 Chevy's A big part of history of Painesville is missing. Sometimes we can't keep up with the wrecking ball, but still plenty around.
We have a yearly 'General Paine Day'

I wonder if the history center will put that on their marquee?
