"BIG YELLOW TAXI" joni mitchell

You don't know what you got til it's gone
Paved Paradise put up a parking lot

Not saying Lake East was a paradise but it did serve a useful purpose

Now with all the regalia of our famed downtown High Point Centre it appears that the first tenant on that property is going to be a parking lot!
Saks 5th Ave. is devastated!

All the speculation and in the end it appears the best use for that property is a parking lot to replace Painesville Urban  Renewal famed Parking Garage.

Best guess that garage was exposed to over 20 years of neglect. Just as your home would be, it didn't get in this shape until our new city manager showed up, did it?

Council Meeting  04/18/16 two items on the agenda first bidding out road projects for 2016

Along with demolition contracts explored to raze the parking garage, many of us will be shocked at the price of this endeavor. Fed's built it why can't the Fed's tear it down?  Maybe the Downtown Organization can put a few flower pots in our newest off-street parking mall?

Councilman Mike DeLeone  wants to discuss council procedures? That might be A HOOT!

Again with the sidewalks and channel 12?

City Planner Lynn White will make a presentation.

AS well as I expect to get my A#@ chewed up again!

Bernie Sanders heard Donald Drumpf was going to Rome?
So Bernie thought that might be a good idea!
Problem was Drumpf meant Rome, New York
Bernie decided on Rome, Italy?  Have to wonder how many delegates  the Vatican has?
Don't  know if I can stand that guy for four years, with all that finger-pointing!
Aw Hell, give the old guy credit.

At the January State of the City address, the City Manager promised that ground would be broken at High Point Center this calendar year. Tony Carson has delivered on that promise. We will now have a parking lot nestled between low income housing [Washington Apartments] and the alcohol and drug rehab center [Dr Chin's old building]. I heard that the first new building on High Point Center will be a new shed for the parking lot lady/meter maid to sit in. Only in P'ville!

I saw the trucks bring in the dirt Friday for that parking lot. Hope they remembered to build a shelter for the folks to wait for LakeTran.

Wonder if they will build an elevated walkway to "New Market Mall." If not, a well marked crossing with flashing lights might do.

Yep, a true man of his word that Mr. Carson is. What the heck? Breaking ground for a parking lot? Where are all the goodies we were promised? I don't recall a parking lot being one of those features, maybe I'm wrong? This town has absolutely nothing to bring any new blood for. Oops, my bad I forgot the bathtub races next month. Compliments of the taxpayers.

11:56 Well he did keep his promise? As far as the Bathtubs according to you they were paid for last year?

I hate to break it to you but those bathtubs I don't believe are even in the top 100 of waste around here.

See there's a new project? streetscaping City Hall. Now that's important! Agai8n lipstick on a pig!
