"COUNCIL MEETING 04/21/2014
Only one item on the agenda.
Ordinance amending sec. 167.07 (second reading)
A presentation by Tim Miller with Lake County Stormwater Management. Hope a council member asks whywe hadn't joined earlier?
Also Jeff McHugh will give a presentation on Prairie State Energy Campus.
Maybe he can tell us our present "levelization" costs?
Along with are we responsible for how much of the 8.5 million in litigation costs when it comes to AMPGS Meigs County?
Assistant Manager Doug Lewis will give a presentation on the CSX Heisley Park situation.
I've read the letter from CSX and it was a quite interesting response.

Do you think we the residents SHOULD pay more for this stormwater? How long have we been paying this? Now someone thinks more is better? Where were those funds squandered all the past years? My understanding we most likely won't see any of the money or repairs until 2019 (was that the year the debt will be paid off). So we should spend more? I feel that we will never see any relief come from what we will be paying. If so, why haven't we had the repairs done since PVille has been involved with the stormwater?
5:40 Well nothing is going to get fixed on it's own. After listening to the county presentation last night my only thoughts was why he hadn't joined this over 5 years ago? Of course Painesville might be right and the 14 other communities are wrong?
Seems like quite a bang for your buck.
Tim Miller walked our property on N. State Str. through all of the years we had to endure excessive above and below ground flooding issues. Give all of you one guess as to who refused to work with the Lake County Storm Water Management Group on this issue and new developments being built in this city.
4:14 Painesville Citizen-of-the-Year? The question is why?
It's not like she had control of the situation.
Is it true Prairie State owns a train locomotive?
Ha Ha term. Lake Cty. storm water group offered their services many many times and as usual the reply was we will handle it on our own. How can you forget how many times decisions were made without consulting with the CEO's (council) of this city and those decisions then and now come back and bite everyone and everything in the _ _ _ _?
I am not referring to the present. I want to know, over all these years NO ONE had the time or money to repair ANY of this? This is all 2 little 2 late. This has been a problem for 30 years and the money was squandered without anything being fixed. Now someone wants more money? Again, why spend more to get NOTHING AGAIN. I'll be dead before we see any money to make these repairs.
