"THE MAN" aloe blacc

Aloe Blacc, with a little help from Elton John.

In Saturdays News-Herald John Arthur Hutchison's political column. It seems our Congressman in the Ohio 14th district David Joyce is being  challenged in the primary by Lake County Tea Party co-founder, coordinator and community organizer Republican Chuck Laughlin of Painesville Township.

In the past when a challenge came from the same party it was viewed many times as just a token challenge. Either Democrat or Republican. The difference this time is being challenged by a well organized candidate.

On another note Democrats have chosen this seat as one that they might pick-up. The question is how much money can Mr. Laughlin raise and how far to the right Congressman Joyce will go.

The establishment money will go to Joyce but will the Tea Partier's followers come up with  sufficient cash?

Having met Mr..Laughlin at a Tea Party Rally, he was pleasant but I had to question what a County Recorder view on a U.N. resolution had anything to do with their job?
Mr. Laughlin appears to be a strict Constitutionalists with very little room for compromise. This might be enough to win a primary with just a small sliver of the party voting.

This along with the fact Mr. Laughlin has close ties with the Lake County Republican Party. This might strain relationships?

I believe it will be an interesting campaign and people will see first hand how the sausage is made.
Wonder if any Dem's will vote GOP in the primary?

Either way this will be great theater!

Either way Joyce seems doomed. Immigration, extending unemployment, minimum wage, a jobs bill, health care all this will be decided in November. The congressman will appease the right and lose everyone else.

Unemployment, My husband is 58 years old he has been out of work for over two years. Was he a bad worker? NO did he miss alot of work? NO
No his job went oversea's. I have watched this man look even grovel for work but first he's to skilled then he's to old. Instead of the GOP allowing jobs out of this country maybe just once they will look out for middle-class America.

You people never cease to amaze me. Look at your own party when talking about sending jobs overseas. Go as far up as your fearless leader in the WH. So don't put this on the GOP. It goes both ways, but you seem to think that the democratic sh#@ doesn't stink. Well, dude, it stinks to high heaven!

11:21 Here's a hint, never start out with "you people"
Back to 9:06 what would you tell her husband? Gas and electric bills are due this month.
Remember your the party that shutdown the government.....AND in the middle of the shutdown voted to pay all those affected by the shutdown back pay when the government went back to work?
Sometimes it seems "you people" are so out of touch with the real world.

5:37 All you got is jokes? It always amazes me how some of you genuflect at the altar of the rich? Wanabe, Run the numbers for the last 30 years and come back and tell me who's hands were in who's pocket. The Romneys, and the Madoffs. They have a goal to destroy the middle-class.
Then again all you got is jokes and not a solution to 9:06 problem
