"TAKE THIS JOB AND SHOVE IT" johnny paycheck

It has just been  confirmed that one soul has lost their life in the early morning fire in Painesville. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the victim.

*****************************************************************************

Let's talk about jobs,

A recent report claimed more than 50% of all jobs in this country pay $11.00 or less. This is an interesting fact as it appears the United States is suffering from income inequality. This fact and you wonder why everyone is under some kind off government assistance? Walmart make Bllions and our government subsidies their workers?

I'll be the first to admit I have no idea how trinkle down economics as well as all ship  rise capitalism works... Because it doesn't.

Now another interesting fact. The Republican Congress under the leadership of John Boehner has scheduled 112 working days for 2014?  Only 92 before election day this November. What exactly do you believe will be accomplished this year?

These people make $170,000 plus benefits and a healthy staff allowance yet they see no need to help 9:08's husband and family out. Am I to believe only Democrats are receiving unemployment benefits?

The Congress "Might"bring this to the floor if we offset the cost of the payments, Odd when President Bush extended it when unemployment was only over 5% no demand such as this was made.

I was presently surprised that six Republican Senators thought enough of some of these people to vote to extend unemployment benefits. Including our own Republican senator Rob Portmann.

Recently even Rand Paul walked back his statement on unemployment, maybe it's starting to sink in?

What this country needs presently is a job's program. The infrastructure of this country is falling apart and people would rather have a job than a handout.

112 days of work? Let's lock Congress, the Senate as well as the President in a room and one one goes anywhere until we agree on a jobs program.

Presently the job presently being done well you can shove it!

I heard the republicans were upset because the bill extending unemployment $$$ had no plan on how to pay for it.

That means we have to borrow it from the Chinese.

Someday, three or four million or so Chinese troops will come knocking on our door and want those $$$ back. Or else.

1:07 I remember a congress and a president that cut taxes on the rich then borrowed what a trillion on the Chinese dime to go to war against the wrong country? Along with Part C medicare?
Seems no one on your side had a problem with that then?
Those troops will worry about that Iraq money before anything else. I am constantly amazed how your party uses this scam and the American people never questions your motives?
But then you just close bridges if things don't go your way.

I have worked hard in my life, educated myself, and now run a business and make in the 6 figures. Part of my job is hiring employees. My company pays a good wage with benefits and we have a list of qualifications needed to be hired. Simple qualifications, high school graduate, no recent felonies, pass a drug and alcohol test, be able to hold a conversation in english at your interview, etc.

without doing an exact count I will guarantee you 90 out of 100 people cannot get past those simple requirements. Maybe it is time to stop blaming politicians and start blaming people/parents. The last time I looked being dem or rep had nothing to do with being a "bad" or "stupid" person.

Borrowing that much money is wrong no matter who does it. Some would say its immoral, given the consequences in the future. The Chinese and others who buy our debt will want it back some day. It's not totally a party thing as much as a Washington politician thing, even though one party does out spend the other by quite a bit.

By the way, I'm an independent!

Amazing!
With no respect to either party, they get as much money per day as I was able to earn in about two weeks AND they are all doing very little for that money!! Just keep kicking the can is the standard procedure.
That is aside from all the perks they give themselves as well as the fact that we pay for huge office staffs for every one of them.
All of us that read this blog should have it so good.

5:23 If you look back to 1980 you will see which party has drove this country into debt ditch. The answer will surprise you. Independent.
6:04 Those other days there out raising cash to keep their jobs like streetwalkers. He who funds gets the vote, simple.
Calling people lazy and then working 112 days a year?

TERM, Both parties increased the debt.

The big players in government spend other people’s money. There is a spending culture that I'm sure your aware of. Because it's not their money, this culture is in play. The terms "poor stewards" or "drunken sailors" comes to mind as well as thieves’ and other less civil terms. The justification for this thievery varies by party and politician.
After careful thought and much time spent watching, I can confidently say, the Washington elite STEAL much of our money by misappropriation, no bid contracts, etc etc. Yes, they steal it. The dems and repubs justify it differently, but they both steal it.

Independent

Term,
This is 5:23 and I guess we will disagree on this one. IMO, both parties are responsible for this mess we are in. They call it partisan politics but that really means that we scratch each others back. Sure, there is a party in control at all times but the nonsense goes on, in Washington, regardless of which party it is.
NEITHER party is doing the job we send them to do.

Hi Term,

I know this might not be the right post to say this but our hearts go out to the family of the person who lost there life in the fire on E South St.

On another note,
Why is the city allowing the owner of that house to burn the debris for the last 3 days on the property ?

Why has the Fire Dept not put the fire out and then the Owner and his Insurance co. pay someone to demo and remove it all ?

How much and who pays the Fire Dept to sit there 24/7 for three days ?

This does not seem right to me ?

Plus the smell all over town.

I have NO problem with how many days the congress works. Every time they pass a NEW BILL, more of our go given rights are stripped away.

How that OBAMACARE thing workin' out ?

2:00 Lets assume your right it's Karma. Strange I wouldn't change a thing on this blog. Are the facts that bother you? or that someone makes them public?
I feel innocent of telling no lies and opinions are just that.

2:00 If I have bad Karma, what kind of Karma do the people that promoted the AMP deals have?
November when the market for electricity was $41.00 MW we paid Prairie State $166.78 ? Oh, and just for November our levelization fee was $199,731.80.
Now lets talk Karma. Please explain?
