"POWER TO THE PEOPLE" public enemy

Well as promised Mr. Carson sent me all the data concerning Prairie State, plus a whole lot more. It seems I was sent ALL electrical transactions for the past year. 18 pages of very small print. Thank-you Mr. Unetic.
I have also learned that AMP-OHIO has now financed  $20 million dollars in levelization fees that all AMP-OHIO communities will be expected to pay AMP-OHIO back. Wonder if there is an interest fee?
The purpose of looking into this is to show you how much more it cost Painesville to purchase power off the open market as opposed to be locked in by Prairie State's false contract. Believe me its not a few pennies.
Look I have AMP-OHIO 82 page report to member partners. I have Moody's report for the(A1) rating of Prairie State. The Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis for Prairie State.

Another interesting thing I have found was this Resolution Authorizing the City Manager To Enter into a Rate Levelization Arrangement for the Benefit of the City of Napoleon, Ohio and it's electrical System: and Declaring an Emergency.
AMP contract No. C-11-2005-4440 Very interesting, how I acquired this tidbit when I was searching AMP-OHIO big wigs it seems the President of AMP-OHIO Marc Gerken was the one time city engineer in Napoleon.

There has been months where Painesville has sent over $400,000 to Prairie State and outside the 9MW of power and can't figure out why ...yet.

I will keep you informed.

Seems the letter Galion was to send to the Ohio Attorney General was VETOED by the Mayor Tom O'Leary wonder what skin this guy has in the game? All this over a letter? Who am I to complain the News-Herald shows no interest either.

Term, you are never happy...18 pages of very small print. Thank-you Mr. Unetic. You got what you wanted and now you are complaining about the print. What? Are you saying it was deliberately printed small just to annoy you? Go to Marcs and get yourself a pair of reading glasses for a buck. Hopefully you won't antagonize the help there.

I'm happy you thought I was complaining? Look all I ask for was Prairie State I got the whole kit-an-kabootal. Far from upset.
.88 at Marc's already have 3 dozen.

Any ideas why the Mayor of Galion would veto this letter? My own opinion is that someone doesn't want to become public knowledge?
Or someone on the take.

7:44 Odd isn't it? Why certain people seem to be doing everything to block an investigation?
Look AMP-OHIO offical eason for not wanting to send inquires is the "bad publicity" it would cause? Wonder what they concider communities paying 3 times as much for the same thing?
Look I believe in the end we will all find out what and how this all happened.

Is there any plus to AMP? Seriously I have looked high and low for some light at the end of this tunnel and I can't find one. I would like to find something positive (no matter how small) to hang on this oppressive deal so many communities are involved in. The more I read the more red lights keep flashing. Enron, anybody remember Enron? Nobody was talking there either. If this is such a great company I would think they would welcomeown investigation. Councilman Hada, I would think, would want to keep his name as far away from AMP as possible, yet his name pops up in a Galion newspaper...... That speaks of impropriety or at least questionable.
There are two currently sitting on council that voted for AMP; one leaving and one staying. Councilman Hach. Another one, Arlene Beck's voted for the AMP deal and is running against Lori Dinallo.
We all need to vote this November!

Well everyone on council at the time voted yes for Prairie State, you left out Andy. AMPGS Andy was the only no vote.
Look as the deal was presented to council it seemed rational to vote for it. Promises weren't kept.
Painesville paid $104.04 MW in July for power. Promised $48.00 not even in the same ball park.
We got enough facts so why the pushback? Only an imbecile would stil believe this was a good deal. There I said it.
Now this council claim to take care of city money? Well here's a good example of the city getting robbed and all but one of them sits on their hands. They could of asked for the same information I asked for why didn't anyone?
Keep sticking your heads in the sand council you need to wake up!

Interesting article in the Columbus Dispatch.
GALION Mayor Tom O'Leary said he decided to Veto the item after calls to do so from leaders of other cities that invested in the Prairie State plant.

Anyone else have a clue who one of the leaders might have been?

And why is he voting based on what leaders of other cities want? Shouldn't he be doing what his constituents want (through their reps on council)?

4:41 You mean the guy that is the cousin of our former city manager?
He didn't get to vote he just whited out his signature? There council will fix this. You have to wonder who these leaders are he listened to?

Can't Galion's council overrule the veto and move forward with the letter?

Yes, I am told they have the votes to do that. Galion residents aren't to happy with their Mayor.
