"YOU OUGHTA KNOW' alanis morrissette

Once upon a time in the Queen’s domain of Paine there was a story about a Queen, a Bear, Rabbits Owls, Sharks and assorted other characters.... I’m sure many of you remember.

Seems the wise Owl has decided to give the rabbits their honey for the flooded burrows, as soon as it can be pried away from the Sheriff of Lake. The Sheriff of Lake is having a hard time parting with the money because he is collecting extra honey for holding it safely.

That story seems to have a happy ending for most everyone. The Bear even gets his share of the honey. And they all lived happily ever after......right? Well, not in this fairy tale.

Seems the Bear has yet a few more surprises that await the Queen... stay tuned.
It would be wise if the Queen and her minions say clear of the Bear's Dominion.

There are lots of challenges for the Queen and her Knights and Knightesses: they are having all kinds of difficulties with the Sorcerer Sir AMP…you may remember, he is the one who can make both lightning and honey disappear quicker than a shrew with a credit card. Also, now it seems the Kingdom is under siege from the likes of Magician Orwell Gas. This magician can make pipe structures appear out of thin air. Sir Orwell decided to put his magical pipelines throughout the Kingdom without really checking with someone on the Queen’s staff. As discussions were carried on, the project was to be "tabled". In the meantime, Magician Orwell proceeded to conjure pipe near the kingdom right-of-ways… and even where private burrows currently sit. ‘We must get to the bottom of this!’ cried the Queen’s Jester. Kind of like closing the barn door after all the horses have escaped. It will be interesting how the Queen will handle this. One home is very near the much-esteemed historical burrow district in the kingdom.

Is one of the Queen’s Knights involved in any way? Where does this magic gas originate and do any of the Queen’s Knights have a honey interest in this project?

The kingdom wants to make sure that no beast in the kingdom is "profiled" or discriminated against. So maybe the solution is to muzzle all beasts. Not practical you say? Well how practical is it if the beast is only considered vicious or dangerous after they injure or kill something? Methinks it best to leave the current law alone…but then again I am just a lowly rabbit.

And a final thought while watching the goings on at the public meetings with the Queen and her knights and knightesses. This little rabbit believes that many of the kingdom’s sectors are run efficiently. Then again… after watching the presentation of the very important water pollution control plant, it seems getting rid of our crap is the most efficiently run sector in the kingdom of Paine.

I think it is really smart not to answer questionnaires, like Dan Troy has decided to do. That way no one can tie him down on anything. Also, no one really needs to know what he thinks about anything. That is really better that way.
Also, he deserves double kudos for not appearing before the Tea Party. They would just give him grief about his involvement in Agenda 21 and other things. He is one smart cookie!

12:14 Well he could answer with half-truths and slide by points. 1So what would be the point?
1:14 Gibbs gives up? First you complain he held things up , The Bear is 83 how many years would you go forward with this?
4:09 This rabbit will just comment from his burrow. It seems the main reason for a coucil in Painesville is to do PR work for the administration.
The first time I found out the city manager wrote a check for over $100,000 without council's knowledge they would have to peel me off the ceiling. As you can tell this council seems to not care much about issues such as these. More interest in thanking people for doing what they are supposed to do, car shows, and advocating purchasing at downtown vegetable stands.
I agree with Councilman Flock I couldn't vote YES for a budget with 19 million others.

Without using names I will do my best to find out what the disturbance was at Heritage Middle School last week.[between adults] Who was involved what if any threats were made as well as the language used in front of the students.
Dr. Hanlon is responsible over all buildings as well as staff.
Please with all alegations it is wise until someone is charged not to use names.

Congrats on this blog. making the prairiestatecoalplant.org site. People around Ohio seem to be getting the message. I know you believe as I that the phrase "clean coal" in a joke.
Everytime I see the extension cord attached to the lump of coal, I shake my head.
What I would like to know is this power plant is right next to the coal mine as to save money on transportation costs. What will they do with the coal slurry, as well as the coal ash? In any way will Painesville also be responsible for them?
Any idea what Painesville does with it's coal ash?

Why would anyone who is not a Republican appear before the Tea Party? They are just some wrong-headed, mouthy people who shout about the wrong stuff, and put the wrong people in office for the wrong reasons. I do not think there is any credibility in the Tea Party groups. I think they are hurting America and, in the end, if they succeed with all they want to do, they will finish destroying America. Their party, the Republican Party, almost did finished us off with eight years of George W. Bush. That wasn't enough for them, now they are saying the same things, and want to go back to the same policies that took America and Americans to their knees. I, for one, would not consider the Tea Party a credible group, nor would I be going along with any meeting, etc. that they were having.

What are the demands for the city of Painesville?

What do people that read this blog actually want?

When do they want it?

What can we unite upon to achieve it?

The established system doesn't work not sure if it ever did. Blogging is good, but action is better. I remember when Term made a sign about the millions of dollars wasted on take or pay contracts with AMP OHIO and presented this during the party in the park. It was good, but the leadership that steered the city into this financial trainwreck were voted back in... Analysis of the problem is one method, a good method, the PAC was a good idea too but again that didn't turn the page to inspire the fire of change to burn in the hearts of the voting public.

I'm confused - didn't Andy vote YES for this budget? So now he wants to take that vote back??

Start from the bottom. 4:45 Councilman Flock voted NO on the City Budget twice this year and last. You can ask him why but I believe its the way it's presented along with the "others" I agree with him. Plus the fact everytime an expenditure comes in front of council the Council-Presidents looks over at the person who might disagree and tell them "you voted for this years budget and this was in it."
8:26 Things didn't go bad overnight and they won't be fixed overnight. Many residents lives are full with jobs, and family and just struggle to get from Monday to Friday.
To the two of you that have mentioned about the shootings near Rider's Inn and Perkins presently I have no knowledge of this.
The City Manager is back and we will probable start getting news releases again. Has anyone but me noticed no mention of the last two council meetings in the News-Herald or Tribune? Seems odd nothing is shared without the city managers presents at meetings.
There has been atleast three unresolved shootings in Painesville? Wonder if Cleveland Magazine has a category for this in their assessment of the suburbs?
5:53 The Tea Party is what it is. Another arm of the GOP, started by the GOP, [Dick Armey]but something has happened along the way. The established Republicans seem to have lost control over them.
A good example is our present Republican Congressman has termed them "knuckle dragers". Beware of what you people on the square sow.

5:58 I have no idea who is responsible for the wastes from the coal mine, or what is to become of the ash.
Remember this is CLEAN coal dah.
I will try to get you an answer, but rest assured Painesville will be charged for the cost, one way or another

What shootings have been unresolved? The one at Westwood Village - shooter apprehended. The shooting on St. Clair - shooter apprehended. The shooting on Liberty - I believe they've made arrests.

I know about the Westwood Village shooter being apprehended. now tells use about St. Clair? Liberty? and W.Jackson?. Where can we find that information?
Don't look now but its seems to be more of this than less?

I am still curious as to the races of the shooters. Does anybody know? I'd just like to know who is shooting up my town. Is it a combination of races, or one in particular?

Flock always votes NO on the budget. That way he dosen't have to take any blame and fallout from doing so. What is his voting record - I'm curious just how many yes no votes he has cast over the years. He just says no so he can complain about all the others.

At June 12, 2012 at 6:06 AM , Anonymous TERM>> said...

So he should vote Yes and accept blame and fallout when things go sour? What a concept. All for one and one for all.
Look after councilman Flock looked at the Meigs County deal, as well as the city managers budget, I believe he believed any sane person would vote against it. What really motivated the administration to get into these screwy AMP-OHIO deals,(take or pay) and would you really vote on a $79 million dollar budget with $19 million items listed as "Others". After these AMP deals council should question everything.
We need a Flock of council people like Andy if you ever want to regain control of Painesville.
