"WHAT DO YOU DO FOR MONEY HONEY" ac/dc

Recently I attended a small group of Heisley Park resident as they met with a Home Owners Association elected member.

I will say that as a neighborhood they do share a concern for Painesville City as well as their neighborhood, one comment I explained to them they are not Heisley Park residents but Painesville resident's the live in the Heisley Park neighborhood.

I also told them to get more involved in the Painesville community. Run for council, as well as council-at-large. Apply for openings on the city three commissions as well as make your presence known at council meetings.

Their neighborhood has many of the same problems all Painesville neighborhoods have the two main ones, storm water and roads. Same problems different reasons. The roads are new but the constant construction in the neighborhood  crumbles even new streets and for some reason during the construction of the development the Home Owners Association (HOA) somehow received responsibility for storm water retention basins and God knows what else it isn't quite spelled out in the contract. I see nowhere in Painesville where a HOA is responsible for anything or even if there is another HOA in the city.

One thing I have noticed is a change in how the administration views Heisley Park. Seems after the Sandy Point Environment Report this past April the city seems to have changed its position. Can't explain what changed but Sandy Point must have found something that spooked the city something they may not have already considered?

Now back to the dilemma, homes in the Heisley Park neighborhood lets say average $200,000. Now that number comes to over $3,600 in county property taxes a year. Of that amount approximately $480.00 goes into the city coffers. For that $480.00 you receive Police and Fire protection along with road repair, street snow-plowing as well as the salt on the roads in winter. A Park and Recreation Department, a Cemetery Department plus  numerous other departments.  And yes soon a new city park will be developed in your area.

I believe the HOA dues are $300.00 a year.

See even with the $2.00 stormwater fee on your monthly utility bill as well as next year an added county stormwater fee of $2.75 a month it's not a lot of money to do to much.

This will be a major situation if we don't get ahead of it.

Councilman Flock has requested the Builder as well as the developer come to a council meeting to address this neighborhoods concerns...... Welcome to Painesville.

Unsure of why you would attend and speak to those residents at all. Funny how "you explained" anything to them. You don't reside there either. Or are you a compass? North, South and West too?

Part 2. You now notice a change in the way administration views Heisley Park? Seriously? Are you thick? Doesn't the city manager live there? That should explain it all to you.

3:45 A Heisley resident wanted a representative from the POC to hear what we might have to offer them. Allen had a previous engagement. S9o the Compass went instead.
3:47 I may be thick but it seems the city wants MORE responsibility from the HOA?

Resident requested a POC rep?
How are YOU responsible for Heisley Park's HOA? This is way too funny.

5:25 Yes it was rather refreshing sitting with a large group of neighbors that cared about their neighborhood.

POC Painesville Oversight Committee.

HOA Home Owners Association.

Your right about one thing not responsible for either. What's going to be funny is watch how this neighborhood address this problem. Paul Hachs going to have his hands full.

I think Mr. Hach is the best thing painesville has had in a long time! love him!!!! Term wants to be somebody he is just a little man he tries to be a big shot. by the way how is that Obama working out! and we let that black guy die because he was black?

7:48 You know why the guy was sent home? Probably no Health Insurance. What hospital sends a person home with a 103 degree temperature black white whatever?
As far as Mr. Hach opinions are like A#@h*^e everyone has one. He makes me miss Joe, just alittle.
Some big shot?
Obama Well first the Republicans drive the wagon into a ditch then blame the Black guy? 4 million jobs created since 2009, Stock Market up 180%. Federal deficit cut in half, exports up 38%, over 7 million people now have healthcare. If he was a Republican he'd be considered a god. What exactly has Congress accomplished?
Maybe if and when the GOP takes control of the Senate as well as the House the American people will learn the Republicans only care about the minority. You know the 1%er's.
Can't wait for the Tea Party meeting when all their Senior supporter's complain about cuts in Social Security and Medicare and are told that was our agenda? Along with troops back to the Middle East, paid with borrowed money, along with a tax break for Koch and there buddies.Weren't you listening?

7:48-thats exactly what the mans uncle said. It was in the NH. The black man with ebola died but the white man didn't. Let's rewind. Didn't this guy come to the US with his temp masked by medicine, just so he wouldn't be detained? I read that also, earlier. He was being sneaky and because of what he did he may have contaminated many innocent people. Yes, it's his fault and what he did was WRONG. I'm sorry someone died but there is no need to make this racial, it's a deadly disease and will kill anyone, any color.

At October 13, 2014 at 1:46 PM , Anonymous TERM>> said...

1:08 Yes this man was sneaky. I guess. What and why a hospital would send a person home with 103 temperature?
Ebola does not see race, stature in life it goal is to kill healthy cells. I wasn't the one that made it racial. I made it a failure.

Term it is not racial! it was made racial by his people? His wife? was told not to send the kids to school? but she did anyway! Then was forced to keep them home buy armed guards? I wonder why? The NEW panther party said it was racial? If he was white he would still be alive! That is what they said!
He did what ever he could to get back to the US and did not CARE about the American people! WE NEED TO WAKE UP! and CLOSE THE BOARDER!

10:18/ 10:19 please see 1:08. I didn't start the conversation. ALSO the man was probably sent home because he had no insurance. Black, White Green makes no difference no money! I can't understand the hospital sending anyone home with that high a temperature?
I have to ask do conservatives want to surpress voting because they want fewer Blacks or fewer Democrats voting? I think the plan is backfiring.

At October 14, 2014 at 12:18 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

It doesn't matter what his temp was, my point was he got here the wrong way. I remember reading cases where someone with HIV was brought to justice for deliberately having unprotected with people and not informing them they were HIV+. I hope anyone that does this knowing they have Ebola will get the same consequence.

I'm a Democrat but, please, if you are too dumb to get I.D., then you must be too dumb to vote. Our elections must be protected, and showing I.D. is certainly a reasonable thing to have to do.

7:30 I asked a simple question, yet no answer?
9:12 Lets say he came into this country to get treated. He mentioned he had recently been to Africa and also had a 103 degree temp. I don't think he knew he had it? Texas? The only good thing to ever come out of Texas was an empty bus.
1:24 Now according to the U.S. Constitution you have the right to bear arms. no one back then had a clue about an M-16 or an AR-15 both are legal under the law.
Take a look into our Constitution there is no mention anywhere you must show I.D. to vote. Look it up. Let alone a photo-I.D. that would have been interesting in 1776. As Mr. Bucar explained in government class back in the day do not confuse a rule, with a law that goes against your constitutional right. They can ask they can't demand. It's simple voter suppression. Now you Constitutional Conservatives please explain how our forefathers were wrong.
12:18 He's dead God rest his soul.

At October 15, 2014 at 1:39 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Your argument is that back in the day of writing the Constitution they did not have to show I.D. Please, many things have had to be changed since then, and certainly this needs to. Back in that day, there were probably ten people at each voting place, and they all knew each other. Things are just a tad different now. In Texas, where this I.D. law looks like it will be in effect, people have a choice of 7 different forms of I.D. they can show. If someone can't handle that, then again, how are they smart enough to vote? And by the way, I'm a Democrat, and in this day and age of probably at least 40 million illegals in this country, and most people about as honest as a politician, we need I.D. I think it is one of the very stupid things that the Democrats do. If having to show I.D. is voter suppression, then maybe you should be suppressed. If there are some 100 year old people somewhere who do not have at least 1 of 7 forms of allowable I.D., then surely there would be something set up to help them get it.

I know he's dead-that's what prompted all this. For future reference and or then go after his family, they should not get a penny if they attempt to sue. It should go to the health care victims.

At October 15, 2014 at 4:00 PM , Anonymous TERM>> said...

1:39 Yes many things have changed. Muzzle loaders to AR-15 for example. You seem to believe in an Ala Carte Constitution? I guess some Rights you need to change and others can't?
Look I'm, just protecting everyone's Constitutional Rights.
Where was the concern when they registered to vote?
Anyone who is a legal U.S. citizen and is refused the right to vote has a case. Tell poll workers you have the right to be innocent before you are found guilty. That's some where in the constitution. If you believe they shouldn't vote the State (Republicans) must have to prove it. The only way to win elections is to suppress voters? How many election cycles do you have left?

At October 15, 2014 at 7:09 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

4:00 - And therein lies the detail. If you are an American citizen, you have the right to vote. If you are not, you do not. So you think if you have to prove you are an American citizen to vote, then that is against your Constitutional rights? OMG. I have to show ID to get a Giant Eagle's customer card. I have to show ID to join a gym, to join the "Y", to drive a car, to buy a car, to get insurance, etc., etc., but not to vote? And mostly you hear the reasoning being to not need ID is for the black people. Really? In 2014, black people don't know how to get or bring 1 of 7 forms of ID? And it's called prejudice to make them have it? They've got community outreach for everything else in the black neighborhoods, so I'm sure they will have it for that. It's against your Constitutional right to prove it's you before you vote?...honestly, that just doesn't seem more than a bit ridiculous to you now that you have put it into writing?

At October 15, 2014 at 7:53 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Term 4:00, you DO have to show ID to register to vote. What do you think they just take your word for it? Of course they ask for ID. So when you show up to vote, you just need to verify that you are you. Not too much to ask, and foolish not to.

At October 15, 2014 at 8:58 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Term thinks it's okay for millions of illegals to be here against our laws, but he will argue the fact that voter ID is unconstitutional - talk about talking out of both sides of your mouth.

4:00 All the places you mentioned are private companies they can do as they please.
Some of you hate it when I play devil advocate with you. That said why are the courts even the U.S. Supreme Court knocking so many new state regulations for voting out? Seems people go around signing people up to register to vote? Who checks? Went to vote earlier this week signed a form that asked me for the last four numbers of my S.S. or my driver's license number. No one asked me for an I.D. Like there isn't any fake one of those around. On the way out I grabbed a form to take to my Mom so she could vote by mail. Who's checking her I.D. or even is she still living? The point is we are looking for a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Maybe when people see others voting different than they do they get to wonder. As I do when every Metro Park levy passes. Who are these people?
Look when a state claims a student I.D. can't be used something fishy.
All these new rules have one goal cut the number of people voting. Every American should be able to vote by mail for the whole month of November. One day, limited number of machines it's 2014 people.
If you need an I.D. to vote the government must issue it on there own. No cost or inconvenience to any person. WOW a national registration card, let the conspiracy start.
Republicans promote voter suppression there base loves it. (why else brag about it?) Then it backfires when people find out and vote just to spite them?
9:21 Just remember you only have two hands. Enjoy your Constitutional Rights, and tell me where the Constitution claims I need an I.D.

Showing ID to vote, and cutting voting hours, etc., are two different things. One is having to prove who you are to vote, and surely that is an important thing, and surely if you are smart enough to vote, then you are smart enough to do that. Messing with the voting hours, as far as cutting them back, and other games, is voting suppression.

Wisdom to know the difference: Priceless.

9:47 is correct it's easier to purchase an assault rifle and a 10000 rounds of ammo in this country than an 85 year old grandmother to vote? I bet terrorist must think we are either stupid or crazy that they could arrive in this country go to a gun show or buy online any weapon you want. Now there's something you can tell your grandchildren. Grandma at Homestead can't vote but ISIS bought that rifle at the fairgrounds. Sad I guess we deserve what's going to happen.

At October 16, 2014 at 8:07 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

I am quite sure that grandma at Homestead has enough proof already to vote, without having to come up with any other form of ID. What you and the rest of the Democrats keep saying about voter ID is ridiculous, but you just keep saying it. But just one last time...voter ID and voter suppression is two different things. In the year 2014, if you don't have one of seven different forms of ID and you can't get one, and you are that incompetent, then YOU SHOULD NOT BE VOTING. It's to protect our votes, and it has nothing to do with gun laws, which is an entirely different subject.

At October 16, 2014 at 9:27 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

I've got news for ya - 85 year old grandma has spent her entire life having and showing proof of who she is, so what's the huge difficulty now? If it's that she's too senile to get it together, then she shouldn't be voting. If she's okay to vote, then I am assuming that just because she turned 85 doesn't mean she's too incompetent to get her ID together in one of seven forms, and should actually be quite proficient at it. I wouldn't want to be on your side of this argument and try to keep coming up with one silly reason after another why people who are competent enough to vote are too incompetent to come up with one of seven forms of ID.

At October 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM , Anonymous TERM>> said...

8:07/9:27 I'm not an 85 year old grandmother but I have voted in every election from the 70's. 70's/80's/90's/ all I ever had to do was walk into a voting place go to my precinct sign my name next to the one in the book and I voted. I can't be the only one. I'm sure many grandma's did the same.
It seems this country now operates on FEAR & ANGER. How long can we survive with that? Home of the Brave?
Now 9:27 wants to test competency? What is this Mississippi in 1930? A new poll tax? Who in 9:27 wisdom will decide who is competent? Nothing in the Constitution about it. Maybe 9:27/8:07 thinks they weren't competent? Suppression is suppression no madder what form it takes.
No competency on who can purchase an AR-15?
The courts will end up throwing all these new regulation's out.

He's flipping out because his dumb argument has no defense.

I have noticed recently the GOP has put poll watchers at voting sites to challenge any suspicious voters?
Speaking of Rest Homes a prominent Republican would visit her father and get his mark, signature and fill out the ballot. Fine until she had started doing it for the whole ward. Look it must be a mistake everyone knows only Democrats cheat. Republicans are as pure as the driven snow.
