"LISTEN TO THE RHYTHM OF THE FALLING RAIN" cascades

SOME CHANGES WITH CONCERNS TO THIS MEETING
**********************************************************************************
It was brought  to my attention that there will be a meeting  Tuesday January 29, 2013 at Maple Elementary School that concern flooding in the general area of Ward IV.
This includes W.Jackson St., W. Eagle, Newell, Hayer, as well as Michael Ct.

Jeff Hope a resident from this area dropped off some literature about this meeting.
Flooding concerns
Zoning issues
Trash
Drugs
Property Maintenance
Speeding Traffic/ Cut-through

Jeff started this neighborhood project and has met with city officials. So they will have a prepared response. Jeff  wants as many residents concerns to be heard even ones not mentioned here.

I believe this meeting is open to all city residents and the city administration will be represented.
To hear your problems and to inform you of the improvements as well as future improvement the city will be making in this area.

This meeting will start at 7:00pm. and last  until 8:30pm   Maple Elementary School.

Andy Flocks Ward I meeting will be this Thursday at 7:00pm at Elm Street Elementary.

I believe Mr. Hope should be congratulated for starting this Neighborhood Association.
It's seems far more productive then say starting a certain blog.

Mr. Hope should be congratulated for putting this together.
I have read the agenda for the neighborhood association and he took time and effort putting this together so professionally.

Jim, I believe 3:44 wants me to take another pay cut?

Heck, I think your wages should be doubled!
Seriously, even if you and I disagree on a point, the primary goal is to make the City better. If that happens, it doesn't matter to me if you were right and I was wrong.
Lets all work together.

Very well organized meeting at Maple Elementary last night.
Jeff, lori DiNallo, Doug Lewis did a lot of leg work to get this off the ground. Every ward in the city should have something like this the city seemed open to this form of residents getting together to solve problems.
Number one concern was flooding, followed by road conditions, and hoodlums hanging around together.

There is already someone looking out for the Cedarbrook area Don Ware who has lived on Miller Ct. for a long time.
Mr. Ware has had two meeting at Chestnut Elementary School. Met with the city numerous times, taken city officals and councilpeople and showed them drainage problem's that affect the Cedarbrook flooding issue. He better than anyone know's where the problems are. I will check with him before I post his number on the blog.
