"I KNEW YOU WHEN" billy joe royal

It was reported by someone who reads the Blog. That Chardon School Board has announced Dr. Hanlon as there new Superintendent affective August 1,2013.

As a community we should wish both Dr. Hanlon as well as the Chardon Schools our best wishes.

As a Painesville community where does this take us in finding a new Superintendent?
What qualifications were used in the Chardon selection?
Do they know something we don't?
Are there many qualified people out there to take this job on?

Alot more questions than answers.

I guess that "retiring" to spend more time with the family is code for taking a new job 10 miles south.

Does he have enough time to actually retire and double dip?

Maybe this time the school board will actually follow their rules and require that the new Superintendent live in the City?

Yes, They know our problems are parent based and not Superintendent based.

Chardon is lucky to get his experience. I would have to say that he was probably driven out of this city by a lot of the same people on this site who constantly blame authority figures instead of looking in the mirror.

5:52 Yes experience counts. Is it the experience in education or experience in getting levies pass?
My only problem with Dr. Hanlon was that under his leadership there was very little transparency and everything sweeped under the rug.
Yes we do have a parent problem. We send our children to school with a host of problems from divorce, poverty, family problems of all kinds in the end we expect the administration, teachers to give us a finished product who will face the next 60 plus years?
Dr. Hanlon retires? The kitchen in Painesville was getting to hot, Jim

I truly wish him well as well as Chardon Schools my concern is Painesville.

I really, really hope that Ms. Magyar isn't applying here. That would be a royal mess if she ran this districe. If anyone thought Hanlon was not a people person...She isn't either.

11:28 Isn't she the former principal at Elm St.?
When the final three were in the interview process at Chardon I thought she gave the best of the three. This is NOT an endorsement only everyone applying should be given an honest look.
If some of you as I expect want to bring things up I willmonly post them after I verify your name. Yes I know the rumors that's all they are.

I don't know what the protocol is for this.
I would believe he would have received more respect from Painesville if he just said "it's time for me to move in the best interest for all of us."

This just proves the all the lying continues. Always lied, deceived and speaking out of both sides of the mouth. I am glad many others made that connection to hopefully one of the last lies the residents will be told.
BTW - since you've heard the rumors how do you verify a name?

BTW Many would like to know. I am faithful to the people who identify themselves and would never put that trust in jeopardy. As more and more see this more and more contact me.

Remember how Hanlon said how great is 50% grading policy was? My guess is he won't be implementing that in Chardon. It's good for Painesville but not Chardon. I think it will tell us once and for all what he thought of us here in Painesville. 50% grading policy?...what a joke. No way will he inflict that on Chardon.

Good radiance just one of the few in Painesville that need to go. Every time he open his mouth it was another lie. Year's ago I spoke out against him and called him out face to face in one of his meeting and he denide what he said and the people (mice) didn't say a word until after the meeting a bunch of them came up to me and said yea I remember him saying that. I asked them why didn't you speek out in there were it would of been on record? I got AAAAHHHH AAAAHHHH. I told them to get out of my face and get back into the hole they climbed out of.
